Côte Lewes

I took my daughter to Cotes for a special lunch, food and service excellant and a free glass of pink champayne with our 3 course meal as it was my daughters birthday, that was nice. I must say the price range is very good and good choice of menu for every ones taste. Would 100% recommend..... Jacque

Lovely meal with excellent,efficient, friendly staff. Very thoughtfully gave us a free desert for the person whose birthday celebration it was - and wrote happy birthday on it in chocolate! The only down side was the noise level which was quite wearing.

This was unusual for Cote Lewes. Starter great, but it was a straightforward salad, main meal was from the October Specials. Partners dish mediocre, mine dry and over cooked, took the fish home for my dog. Dessert was excellent, again from October specials. They did deduct one dessert from bill but very disappointed ☹️

Wonderful staff!! Amazing food !! I came for a meal with my daughter and we had a great evening. We couldn't fault the meal and the young woman that looked after us was very professional and attentive.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. They made my friend and I feel very special. It was her Birthday, and they came with a bun and candle and a drink while we had breakfast, singing Happy Birthday. She loved it, and felt very special. We will be back.

Excellent food, excellent service as per usual. We had the complimentary martini which was delicious, calamari and crab mayo to start followed by butterfly chicken and the haddock fillet from the October menu. And a pain perdu for pudding. I always love coming here, the wines are great and I always feel like I’ve had a great feed/treat without being overly full. Thank you!

Very lunch today for my Mums Birthday. The waiters and host were really lovely and made sure to look after us. Food was very prompt and we ordered a mix of the prestige set menu and from the regular menu too all of which were delicious. The atmosphere was also very good! Especially on a Monday afternoon it was more like a Saturday!! Clearly we are not the only ones who thought it was good. To top it off my mum was given a glass of bubbles to celebrate her Bithday which was an extra special touch! Thank you very much we will be back.

We love the Formule breakfast (fab full English) and you get the best coffee in Lewes. Service friendly and efficient as always. Our favourite place for brunch with friends.

Very good standard of food, the wine was most enjoyed by all, topped off with friendly service. Cote is always reliable for a pleasant dining experience.

Our evening was made more enjoyable by our waiter, Youssef, who was very helpful with his recommendations of food and wine. He was welcoming and friendly which goes a long way for me. The food was tasty, in particular the crepe. We will definitely return for another meal soon.

Six good friends enjoyed a superb birthday supper together, food and service spot on. With a glass of free bubbly to start, and fine Picpoul de Pinet and Fleurie to follow, the well balanced menu gave each of us the choice of well presented dishes with a friendly and efficient service. Thank you!

Similar to my experience at Battersea Rise, a very pleasant lunch. Staff very professional but pleasant and friendly. Rather a long time between seating and order take (30 mins) but well worth the wait. Shall most certainly go there again.

Excellent service and food. A wide choice on the menu, although vegetarian options were more limited. A great bonus to have a gluten-free menu. I think the lighting could have been dimmed earlier. We dined at 5.30pm, and the lighting felt too bright...and therefore less intimate and relaxing. Small point: I think the chocolate mousse needed some garnish....(possibly a quenell of thick cream, and chocolate curls?) My steak was delicious, and perfectly cooked. Thank you for a very nice evening.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our visits to Cote Lewes. The food is great, the staff are very friendly and the ambiance is spot on.
