Always a lovely evening with exceptional service! The staff are always smiling and welcoming and the restaurant is always clean.

Nice relaxed Sunday with friends. Food was good, wine was excellent, music was annoying.

Had a fantastic birthday lunch with friends on Sunday 23rd. The food, staff and ambience excellent as always that's why we go there on a regular basis.

Great food! Great service! If I was being really picky then the toilets could do with a revamp but overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My only negative was that after our waiter(who was excellent)went off shift we were forgotten about , we had to attract someone passing by to order coffee/drinks.It just let what was a great night down a bit.

The service at this restaurant is amazing all of your staff are so polite and genuinely focussed on customer service, which is a rarity in most restaurants. The food was lovely brilliantly cooked and presented, and you have a great team so please recognize them for this.

The Staff and restaurant were first class and the menu was imaginative and varied however the portion sizes were small. My wife had belly pork which was tiny and my Chicken Roti was also very smart. I ordered a side dish of Artichoke which was on the specials menu but I struggled to find any Artichoke it was 95% potato gratin in fact my wife had gratin with her main and the only difference was the shape of the dish it was served in.

I wanted to take my husband somewhere different for a meal. Having eaten at a Cote in London and enjoyed the meal, I wanted to introduce him to French cuisine. We were promptly shown to our seats and given time to choose our drinks. These were brought quickly and our menu choices taken efficiently. We both opted for the cassoulet which did not disappoint. It was one of the best meals we have eaten in a very long time. We each chose a dessert which was mistakenly delivered to the table next door. Once we received them we were however they were disappointing: both the crime brûlée and the Tarth au Citroen were not fully set and a bit runny. We did not complain about the time it took to receive our desserts but the restaurant did not charge us for them as they recognised their error. Despite the issue with the desserts, the service was good and the quality of the main course and wine were excellent. We would definitely recommend Cote as a place to eat and plan to return again soon with other family members.

A busy night as it was Valentine's but the service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent (sea bass cooked to perfection) with a great mix of flavours and textures. Our compliments to the chef(s). Fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants.

Having signed up for your newsletter I used the offer of a free cocktail when ordering off the main menu. Imagine my shock to discover this was a non alcaholic cocktail. At no point did it say Mocktail so our part of 7 were not expecting that. The Mocktail was awful and a real let down when we were out celebrating a 60th birthday! It would definately put me off using that offer again. It let down an otherwise lovely meal.

We keep coming here because we can always rely on the consistency of the cooking, and if anything does occasionally go wrong, we know the management is keen to put things right. I thought the grilled sardines were excellent and do hope this dish will be added to the mains in the future. My friend thought the beef in her stroganoff was chewy so another dish was offered - the pork was cooked to perfection and she left very happy. Thank you for the lovely food and service.

Been lunching here regularly 2-3 times a month. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food cooked to high standard and well presented. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. In fact had 80th birthday family 3 course meal and we were well looked after.

The January specials were EXCELLENT and we had a thoroughly pleasant evening.
