A very enjoyable meal and although the restaurant was very busy, we had excellent service

Lovely food and excellent service, but unfortunately we struggled to have a conversation because there was a very loud table of ten not far from where we were sat. We would normally have stayed for coffee but left after our mains and found somewhere quieter.

Straightforward mix of French and English classic cuisine, enjoyable today as always. My best recommendation in Manchester to friends and family on a budget. Food as usual very good, extra waiters on today as very busy lunch for run up to Christmas, hardly an empty chair but service spot on as usual: efficient but not pushy. Avoid the house white wine; Picpoul and Oc Viognier are sound as is the red Bordeaux. Cocktails and spirits very low priced.

This is still one of my favourite restaurants. Food is excellent and the staff are always so lovely. A family favourite of ours

Excellent food served very well by friendly and efficient staff. We were on a theatre 🎭 visit and the waitress assured us that we would have plenty of time for a 2/3 course meal. There was no rush but a very efficient service. Well done !

We don’t frequent Cote very often, but whenever we do go whether breakfast, lunch or early evening, we always have the same dining experience. Brilliant atmosphere, superb food and fabulous service! What more could you ask for?

It was an absolute joy and a pleasure to be back at Cote Manchester with three of my good buddies, where the service and food are always first class. We all rank Cote in the top two best restaurants across greater Manchester. A very marry Christmas and happy New Year to all the staff at Cote.

Lovely Christmas meal with best friends, wine and food were great, and we were very reluctant to leave.

We were a party of 9 on our Christmas team outing, great food, excellent service, good atmosphere.

Always a fabulous meal and lovey staff have been with lots of different people and ages even with grandchild where she was given a colouring in book and crayons.

Appetising menu. Food well presented with authentic flavours. Portion sizes just right. Good value for money.

We really enjoyed our time here the staff were very welcoming and helpful We had the 3 course prestige menu both our starters were delicious as were the main courses unfortunately my husbands meal was not as hot as it should have been but it was delicious really enjoyed our time here and will certainly come back again

A perfectly good meal was ruined by your chef adding copious quantities of flaked salt crystals to the watercress accompanying my duck breast. There is salt on the table for me to make my own mind up and I really dislike a chef presuming everybody likes so much salt. Sea salt crystals seem to be on trend now, but it is still the same unhealthy salt so many of us are cutting down on. I was a little surprised by your server suggesting afterwards that I should have pointed out my "dietary preferences" when I ordered. Service charge withheld. Music far too loud to enable easy conversation. Noise level rated 2 on the basis of unsatisfactory.

Food was great, we were seated right away and our waiter was brilliant but it was busy and they did seem understaffed. Dessert was absolutely delicious too. Will definitely be back.

Loved the atmosphere and the food but we were disappointed with the « dark » chocolate mousse which barely tasted of chocolate. We waited quite a while for our main course.

Good meal but dont think there should be a 12.5% tip automatically put on the bill.

VERY ENJOYABLE VISIT YET AGAIN VALUE FOR MONEY ON THE PRESTIGE SET THEATRE MENU

Have used different Cote restaurants around the UK good value set menu but unfortunately this time in Manchester the standard of the food was not as good as usual. In particular those who had grilled chicken said it was tough and overdone ( hard to cut and eat) The Pork meal was good and starters were good.

We had a fabulous lunch to celebrate my mums 83 rd birthday. Only 4 of us but the place was buzzing with Manchester market visitors. We selected from the lunch set menu and prestige menus and ate everything. Lovely bottle of muscadet . Did not have to rush and service very good. We will always come back to Cotes for a guaranteed quality meal. Thank you.

Great service - attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Also, amazingly tasty food - I didn't think that food could be so tasty!

Excellent meal, great value for money with quality food & good service

Tasty meal- we had 6 different dishes between the 3 of us. Everybody enjoyed their choices. The service- as always- was good, well-pace. All together excellent.

Lovely food but unrelaxing atmosphere. staff clearly having to rush around and VERY noisy, we could not talk across the table without raising voices. very disappointing. will not visit again

This is my go to restaurant and never fails to live up my expectations. Food amazing as always

Beautiful food, great staff. Only fault was no one seemed to be seating or serving at the door- had to stand without greeting for over ten mins, watching people get up and pay right I front of us. Just an acknowledgement that someone would be with us would have been enough, or even a smile!!!

Had reserved a table for 5 on a busy friday night. Service was good, the waiter and waitress were both friendly and attentive. The food was good apart from the calamari which was chewy. The steaks were melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection. Good atmosphere although a little noisy due to it being so busy. Would go again.
