I took my elderly father for a meal here as I knew he would love the food. Traditional home cooking with a twist - a rose by any other name! Soup, shepherds pie and milk pudding a la Francais. What a hit. He said it was the best type of restaurant fod he had eaten. The staff were really attentive, and we managed to find a quiet corner where my hard of hearing dad could enjoy his meal without the distraction of lots of noise. Although I'm not local, I know my Dad will be back to enjoy a delicious pre theatre meal soon ... And he even knows which table number to ask for when making his reservation. Great job and many thanks guys!

Really enjoyed the food at Cote Brasserie. They add a 12.5% service charge onto the bill though, not a fan of places that do that though it does say it's optional.

We had a fabulous evening celebrating my son's 21st birthday here. Communication with the restaurant was great and all the staff were really helpful There were 20 of us and they requested pre- orders which was no problem. On the night, they were very welcoming and the food was served efficiently It was all absolutely delicious and everyone had a great time.We will definitely be back

Excellent food, even at 3pm in the afternoon! Good service, relatively quiet, goof French atmosphere. The clientele are mainly middle-aged.

Don’t hesitate to eat here, great food and lovely staff. Varied vegetarian menu, beautifully cooked sole, crispy calamari and crepe caramel to die for! All washed down with a complementary bottle of wine offered whilst booking our table online. Enjoyed Cote’s consistency in Chester, York and Manchester. What’s not to love? Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because after that there’s nowhere to go! Oh, and the loos were spotless.

Visited on several occasions and always enjoy the food - really feels like a French Brasserie and always good quality - bread and olives gorgeous - Kir Royale unbelievably good value and the special of Veal steak was sublime. Great service and pleasant staff, highly recommended

As usual had an excellent lunch at Cote Manchester - choose from the good value prestige menu. Had a good chat with a trainee manager learning the ropes and shared some of our experiences of other Cote restaurants across the country.

Consistently great food and service on a low budget. Reliable menu updates inline at the beginning of every month. Two value set menus and very reasonable a la carte. Wine prices good but can’t recommend the house white. Try a small glass rather than a bottle. If it suits you all well and good but I haven’t found anybody in favour of it so far.

We had a beautiful meal and a perfect night for my partners surprise birthday meal (Monday 26th August). Ashley and our waiter Nico were extremely friendly and professional. I can’t thank Ashley enough for going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and that our first visit to your restaurant on this special occasion was relaxing and enjoyable. I took my friend here in August 2019 for a birthday lunch and we were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the welcome and service we received was second to none, each member of staff was superb, the food was delicious, and we even received a complimentary Kir Royale each to celebrate my friend's birthday, which was a lovely gesture! This isn't the first time I've dined here, and it certainly won't be the last either!
