Excellent meal. Ordered off the Prestige set menu. Calamari and mussels to start and two rib eye steaks for our main course with beans and creamed spinach. Perfectly cooked steak. I’d highly recommend eating here.
Great meal and service as always, great value for money, see you again soon.
Thanks Cote Brassiere for adding to a very memorable evening at the theatre. The atmosphere, excellent food and attention to detail were perfect. Five Stars all the way
Good quality food at reasonable prices with a good choice of options on the menus.Staff were polite, attentive and, efficient. Have been here a few times at different times of the year and would certainly recommend.
The team at Cote made everyone in the party feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The service was friendly and professional. The food as always was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal. I can’t thank the team enough for making the day a very special one for my friend celebrating her retirement. I booked Cote as it is a restaurant I have enjoyed on a few previous occasions. This was the first time most of the party had visited but all said they would definitely be making a return visit.
We had been recommended to come here by friends and we weren’t disappointed. The food and service was first class. We’ll be back to visit again.
Great food Great customer service Great Atmosphere And for me Great Champagne Also the Champagne is reasonably price great with the scrambled egg and smoked salmon breakfast fab
As always a lovely meal with professional friendly service. The sea bass was beautifully cooked and a complimentary bottle of wine as regular customers was appreciated. Will be back soon.

This place never disappoints. A real French bistro in the centre of Manchester. Efficient, friendly service and superb bistro style, beautifully cooked, food. We use it again and again. Good value wine too,
Food wasn't full of flavour like I expected. Staff and restaurant were great tho
Fabulous service. The waiter adapted the timings of courses as some of the group were having either starter or dessert. It was a delicious meal and excellent value thank you
Good night with Friends to celebrate our wedding anniversaries. Thanks for the drinks!
Very nice meal indeed - all four of us enjoyed our food. Three had steaks all cooked as asked and one poulet grille which was lovely. We went at a very busy time and the service was still good, with us being kept fully informed when their was a slight delay waiting for a bread starter. Would recommend this restaurant- it was a good start to our theatre night.
Went out of their way to make a birthday breakfast special lovely staff always enjoy my experience here! Amazing food and great location and staff are always a pleasure!
Wonderful as ever good food great value great service x
Thoroughly enjoyable evening, we’d pre-booked and although a little late there were no problems. The service was prompt and friendly, speed of service was excellent, food was very giid and the waiter was warm and friendly - will definitely return
Good Father's Day experience. Had the Prestige menu the steaks were tasty & cooked well. Staff helpful. Good value for money.
Love this restaurant. Amazing food, always cooked well and very tasty , spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and attentive . Great value for money
Excellent food and service as always. 3 course menus are excellent value for money! Reasonably priced three course menu. I’ll be back soon!! Great value for money.
We were in the PDR as part of a group of 10. Food fab. Wine fab. Service was good when we could attract the servers attention. But I did have to go upstairs twice to ask to be served. It was a bit stressful as we were going to the theatre and the clock was ticking.
Excellent from start to finish. Quiet evening but I liked the fact it wasn’t heaving. Personal but not invasive service. Exceptional food. Tartare exquisite. Veal T-bone from the specials list was out of this world.
The food was to our pallets, the menu was to our taste, i can not really fault it, just maybe put less sugar in the your lemon tarts thanks for a excellent meal, p.s sorry about my son.
Wonderful atmosphere, and the staff could not have been nicer. Will be going back again, and the food is great value for money! There way a party at the time we went, so it was a bit loud, but again the service was impeccable. Although, some parts of the food seemed under-seasoned, it was easily remedied. Lovely touch for their complimentary water to be filtered and very cold.
Lovely relaxed meal, good choice of menus and food and attentive service.
Excellent service as always. Food was great - Calimari really fresh in particular. The fact that over the many years we have been dining many of the staff are still there says a lot for the place.
Table wasn't ready when we arrive but staff were very apologetic. We were given free drinks for our trouble. had a lovely meal and great time. Tartare to die for
Always a really lovely relaxed atmosphere to meet friends and enjoy a well cooked reasonable priced meal. Great service and well timed courses never had a poor experience.
Circumstances brought us back to Cote Manchester after a less than auspicious last visit. Today’s visit was the polar opposite. It was a busy, vibrant bustling early evening meal for us, served by the delightful and charming Jordan. The food was as we’d become to previously expect, tasty, excellently presented and of a high standard. The veal steak, after an initial hiccup, (which was quickly and pleasantly rectified,) was divine and the flame grilled meat was sumptuous. The crime brûlée’s were mouth-wateringly gorgeous, and rounded off a delightful meal. Our faith had well and truly been restored and we will certainly return.
This is a stylish brasserie without too many frills. Service is polished and friendly and the food is well cooked and presented. The set menus are great value but the carte and wine list won’t break the bank. Perfect for the price.
We were very pleased with our evening the food was very good and the service was excellent, our only feedback is we do not agree with a 12.5% service charge, your food and drinks prices are priced enough to hold their own without adding to the bill, and we like to give the waiters our own gratuity.
As usual food and wine was good staff were very helpful and could you open in Alderley Edge or Wilmslow . Pity you closed in Hale!
The meal was delicious. The staff were lovely. Very happy.
Another lovely lunch with friends, great service & food. Thank you
I've been to Cote on a regular basis and never been dissatisfied, I would recommend anyone to try it out, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Steve Stopford Manchester.
Excellent meal in a superb atmosphere following a exhausting shopping trip to Manchester. We were 45 minutes early for our booking but they found us a lovely quiet table. Great experience
Excellent food freshly prepared.I would fully recommend this brasserie for a pre theatre meal.
Service was commendable, but food took a bit longer to arrived, especially the appetiser & the soup that we ordered first! Perhaps you need more helpers in Kitchen! Thx
Lovely food. Staff were efficient and friendly. Nice decor. Very reasonably priced. Was quieter than normal but it was a sunny Bank Holiday Sunday, bonus for us as we had the full attention of the staff.
Service attentive & professional. Venue clean, classy & upmarket. Food absolutely delicious & very well priced. Atmosphere warm & relaxed. Birthday goodies wonderfully unexpected and greatly appreciated. We have been several times before and will definitely be returning, it is a wonderful restaurant.
Excellent as usual with pleasant and helpful staff with a variety of food on the menu. Howard
Good value, excellent food, very pleasant surroundings, efficient & extremely pleasant staff and well situated site next to House of Fraser in Manchester! Would certainly recommend and re visit! :-)
Lovely food & staff. Great to see plenty of gluten free options as this was important to us with my husband being a coeliac. Staff took this seriously and we were confident there would be no cross contamination.
Brilliant as usual - that's why I go back time after time. Service exceptional. Food is always good and seasonal. All staff friendly and knowledgeable
I found excellent food and wine, if a bit on the pricey side. The staff are lovely and considerate, the atmosphere is relaxing. An enjoyable evening.
I love Cote, the food and service is always outstanding. Last night I took my mum who is celiac and they couldn't do enough to help her with her choices. The order was taken by the manager and arrived with a little GF flag. Other restaurants take note! Thanks Cote and see you again soon.

My old colleagues and myself meet in Manchester on a fairly regular basis. When we first began, years ago, to seek a good lunch, we tried many many in-town restaurants. All were discarded after a couple of visits, for all kinds of reasons. Then we found Cote Brasserie. We have now lunched with you so many times, we feel like part of the furniture. Every visit is thoroughly enjoyable. We are welcomed royally, we have a table allocated according to our requests, the food is superb and we leave completely satisfied: all praise to the waiting staff and the kitchen. We have already fixed a date amongst ourselves for a return, in a month or two.

My daughter and I were belatedly celebrating Mother’s Day on Saturday. We were cordially greeted and shown to a window seat, which I prefer. I’ve been to Côte many times before so I was accustomed to the wide choice. Having decided on the Premium Set menu we were quickly served once we’d finished our aperitif ( a pleasant gin and sparkling wine cocktail). The French onion soup was hearty and delicious whilst the sea bass with fennel was perfectly cooked. The Sauvignon Blanc was a good match to the main course. Coffee was pleasant and served after a decent interval. Service at Côte is always excellent and today was no exception. My only criticisms of the menu are that the sides are overpriced-£3+ for green beans is over the top for example, in comparison to the cost of the mains overall. I would like a more imaginative choice in the desserts- there only ever seems to be ice cream, creme caramel, chocolate pot or crumble for dessert. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Côte again to others.
As always , the staff are welcoming and very professional. The lunch menu is very good value and well cooked. I would recommend this restaurant and suggest it stands up well against many other Manchester restaurants.
See you soon,we brought some friends who had not been there before and they cannot wait to go back again!!!
Lovely restaurant. Food quality was fantastic! Service was good. Had to ask twice for a drinks order but everything else was good. Will definitely return.
