Stopped in whilst shopping, easy to book and we ate from the A La Carte menu and enjoyed a free cocktail each. Food delicious, good portion sizes. Overall an enjoyable meal.

This would have been a 5* but we resent the 12.5% 'Optional' service charge, especially as you don't give it to the staff but use it to feed them and provide them with a drink. It should be up to staff what they do with a tip, it's supposed to be their money. It is shoddy treatment like this that is threatening 'Chain' restaurants. We would come to Cote more often but simply don't like this aspect.

I visit regularly and have never had a meal I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. This time there were 6 of us and the opinion was unanimous.

First time visiting Côtes. It was ok. Not sure I would visit again. Mixed service and I ordered the fillet steak and was surprised by its size. It was the smallest “fillet steak” I have ever been served.

As always the food was excellent, atmosphere quiet and relaxed and service exceptional. Top quality French food at these prices is hard to find. Definitely my "Go To" restaurant when meeting with friends Leave space for the praline pancakes!

We had a great night. Lovely friendly staff. Always smiling and happy to help. Gorgeous food and plenty of selection. Thank you for helping my husband to have a great birthday night. The unexpected dessert with a birthday candle was a nice surprise. Highly recommended.

The food was nice however the service was really poor. The waiter was pretty sloppy throughout, leaving our plates and empty glasses on the table for the duration of our 3 course meal. Also he didn't provide the bill for 20 minutes after we had eaten and I had to flag down another member of the waiting team. It then took another 30 mins for the card reader to be provided. It fell well short of he service at other Cote restaurants I has eaten in previously.

I was with 7 friends today at your Manchester restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent with a very good selection from the menu. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the service also was very good. Would highly recommend.

I am running out of ideas to sound new......but I book this restaurant regularly as the food is always consistently good and so is the service.

A fabulous Valentine’s Day menu with lovely wines. I can’t believe how beautifully cooked was the lamb and the gourmet desert really lived up to its name. The service, as always, was superb - friendly and efficient. Cote is rightly one of our favourite restaurants.

Very nice welcome by front of house, shown to a nice table by the window, didn’t wait long before being served with our drinks, a very nice experience, and the food was lovely.

Excellent value set luncheons, and even the cheapest of the white wines was very palatable. Service courteous, friendly and speedy.

Great place for a really good lunch with lots of menu choices. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The terrine starter a little dry. Lacked a chutney or a sauce.

A lovely, pre-theatre dinner. We ate the St Valentine's menu, which attracted us to the Duck Confit. This was superb, done exactly as it should and served with sauteed potatoes and spinach. I am always delighted by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of service. The waitress even remembered which wine we order habitually, the Chinon. The replacement of Badoit with Vals mineral water is highly acceptable and allowing my wife to have the cheese board instead of dessert was very kind.

Everything was lovely , food was gorgeous and the staff were very attentive. The toilets could be cleaner and there was no toilet roll in any of the toilets, obviously not checked regularly.

Thank you for such a wonderful Birthday Lunch for my wife. The Food and Service were excellent and the extra little touches were very much appreciated. Look forward to seeing you again soon....

Had duck confit which was a little dry. Should have been served with red cabbage but was served with plain cabbage which was quite dry to eat without gravy. Not up to the usual high standard of Cote.

Always great however I chose wrong dish more suited to vegetarian.

Amazing food, service and ambience. Always happy to accommodate your choice of food if you want to mix and match the menus. Set menus are excellent value for money. Cant praise the staff enough they are always pleasant and attentive.

Usual good food and good value - always a good bet

It was a large party of 18. I chose Cote Brasserie because we are always well looked after. This occasion was no exception.

We were greeted very warmly and promptly taken to our table where complimentary drinks were served for my birthday. The choice of food was excellent and the quality was of the same calibre. The wine choice was also great, we opted for a St Emilion Grand Cru which did not dissapoint. One of the party is allergic to nuts and the waitress was extremely helpful and despite this allergy he could still order the majority of the menu which was impressive as it can often be problematic. Had a fantastic night for my birthday and will definitely be returning!

Superb food served by superb staff. Something for everyone on the menu. We love spending time here.
