Exceptional as always, such a pleasant atmosphere. Outside chairs were surprisingly dry even though it had just rained. Staff so friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic Christmas lunch at Cote today! Three courses with wine pairings for starters and mains, finishing with lovely cappuccino coffee. We both had the delicious confit duck with orange ( our favourite) and the chocolate roulade with chantilly cream and warm choc sauce was divine. Never disappointed at Cote , always a treat. Friendly, attentive service.

Food fabulous with attentive staff. This was the first time we had dined at Cote Brasserie and it was a mot enjoyable experience. Tables were well distanced and we did not feel at all at risk. We will be visiting again in the future.

Undoubtedly the best of the many casual dining chains available. You know what your going to get, decent service, good value and tasty well presented food. Disappointed to be charged for three glasses of wine, I only had two, but to be fair it was amended no problem. The cynic in me thinks this is a deliberate ploy used by many restaurants who know that many diners don’t even check the bill.

This restaurant never fails to produce high quality dishes and the service levels are both friendly and efficient. Choice of meals offered varies so much which gives you the opportunity of trying so many wonderful items. Wines are realistically priced in comparison to so many establishments and the choice is wide both by glass and by bottle. Where else could you have Calamari, Chicken Supreme and Chocolate Mousse for less than £20!! at lunchtime. All unbeatable in quality terms. Bon Appetit! Excellent afternoon to celebrate coming out of lockdown...we had great fun , enjoyed fantastic wine and cocktails plus the food and service were first class.....added bonus it was very well sorted for the current social distancing climate !

We very much enjoyed our first meal out since lockdown. We were made to feel welcome and felt very safe. The food was as good as usual, my husband had the Christmas menu and enjoyed it very much.

Excellent as usual. Terrine and Beef Bourgignon were excellent. The creme Brûlée was disappointing- top had been burnt rather than caramelised and the creme was very sloppy rather than stiffer. Noise from the sound system was intrusive - I think they hadn’t turned the volume down as the restaurant became busier. I had to take my hearing aids out

At Cote, we know we’re guaranteed an excellent meal and great service. The staff in Newbury went out of their way to accommodate us and to ensure my mother could easily get to the table. The restaurant felt very safe with big spaces between tables. A great experience all round!
