The restaurant was very busy, as very convenient for two theatres pre-dining, but we were served really quickly in the time we had. We came straight from work so only had a limited time. We were served very quickly and reached our performance on time.

Daniel, Iona and the team made us feel very welcome even though we were late night post theatre customers. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty indeed. We shared a calamari starter then had the charcuterie platter and endive, walnut and blue cheese salad. It was a very pleasant experience and we are looking forward to visiting the restaurant again next time we're in the city. Many thanks to all staff both front of house and working in the kitchen.

There are always favourites and the occasional new dish on the menu. As ever, the food represents excellent value and the service is friendly and efficient.

Mix up with the order but this was apologised for. Table small for six people and the party next to us were extremely loud Saying that the staff were pleasant and once the food came it was very nice.

From start to finish the service, food taste and quality and speed in which it was delivered was excellent, well done team. Although this is a chain it is so professionally delivered in Norwich, just brilliant.

Excellent meal , great service and a very enjoyable evening . Was visiting Norwich for a getaway and was very pleased to find a cote in the city My local restaurant closed suddenly last year in Lincoln which was a huge disappointment as the food was always fabulous.

Fast and friendly service. The food came very quickly and was correctly cooked. The ribeye steak and the Bernaise sauce was particularly nice as was the Creme Caramel.

Good food, good drink and efficient, friendly staff - as usual. Food could have been a bit hotter, but but otherwise, all good! I expect we'll be back.

Good food and friendly service. Marred by having an "optional" 12.5% charge added to the bill. We believe tipping is an anachronistic and patronising relic, and should be dropped. We would rather pay a proper price for the meal, and have the staff paid a proper wage.

A table of five for my birthday meal. Faultless service, delicious dinner and nice buzzy atmosphere. A firm favourite, a restaurant you can always rely on for a good meal.

The calamari starter and the bread were excellent, however the mussels were tough, stringy and flavourless, I left half of them.

Food was all absolutely lovely but...... we’d ordered olives and sourdough to share as starters and had barely touched these when our main meals arrived so we didn’t really get a chance to enjoy them and when you’re full from your main meal, the starters then seem a complete waste of money. Personally I wouldn’t do that again.

Had a delicious meal at cote norwich last weekend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and let us choose were we would like to be seated. Service was prompt and we didn’t have to wait long for our food inbetween courses. Atmosphere pleasant. Would definately return.

Another perfect meal, service A* . French onion soup was so so tasty. Sea bass tasted wonderful. Alwaa pleasure to be served great food by great staff.

Big problems with the service on my visit on a Bank Holiday Lunchtime, delays and food not hot, apparenty staff shortage. Manager did however acknowldge problem and took some starters off the bill

What a disappointment for Easter Sunday lunch! I've eaten well here before, but not today. The restaurant was stuffy and noisy and even though there were few diners, we were all bunched together, and acoustics awful. The 3 of us couldn't all hear each other at the same time. My duck was tough, green beans old and peas crinkly and hard. All looked and tasted like it had been reheated. My mother's chicken was good, but she was served with 5 old green beans for veg only. My daughter's croquet monsieur was good except for the burnt edges, though it was served with a dry bit of old lettuce that was going brown! Some money was taken off the bill for this after complaining. Service was slow despite the few diners, so we didn't bother with pudding. 2 stars only deserved and I won't be coming back. If this place were in France it would be empty.

We were a party of 5 having a pre theatre supper. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were made to feel very welcome by the matre ‘d and the serving staff who were aware of our time limit. We all agreed that our mains were delicious and served very fast. I had duck which was beautifully cooked, very pink which I like, and fabulously tender unlike very often I get in France! Desserts were great. Most of us had the crepe with grande mariner.....superb.

As always an excellent meal the food is gorgeous friendly and efficient service. The French 75 is a wonderful aperatif to start and very pretty. We had the belly pork which was well cooked and extremely tasty

Everything about our evening visit was enjoyable, choice of food from the a la Carte menu was extensive and very well presented and perfect. The complementary French 75 was a nice touch, female member of staff who served us was friendly and efficient. We will return soon thank you.

When you walk into a restaurant first impressions are very important to get a feel of how your experience may go. Unfortunately, the greeting from the Maitre De was very abrupt and unwelcoming, not able to smile. Fortunately, the remainder of the table waiting staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, and served on hot plates, service was very quick and efficient. This made for a very enjoyable meal. Just for information, a 12.5% service charge is added to your bill, this is stated as optional but you have to ask to have it removed if your not happy with the service.

We eat here frequnty and have always had excellen food and service. On the odd occatsion Mussels have been "off" a replacement dish has been offered. It is a shame that local Mussels from Brancaster are not available at this restaurant.

We try to visit once a month and always enjoy great service and wonderful selection of specials from your menu. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff , they are so helpful. You are never rushed , can take your time between courses and enjoy the atmosphere . Looking forward to booking again soon.

A most pleasant lunch, enjoyable fare and friendly service. The French Onion soup was very good, the fish parmentier nice but a little dry and the choc mousse excellent. Wines are over expensive in my opinion.

Perfect place for lunch with my mother and mother in law! Had the set 2 course lunch menu, exceptional value for money, prompt but unobtrusive service and the best creme brûlée we’d ever eaten! Will definitely return, well done to the great staff!

We’re so lucky that Cote is just a short walk from home. This is enhanced by the great staff, stylish food and wine & exceptional service. The Cote Burger was probably the tastiest I’ve had for ages and the Fish Parmentier a delight.
