Côte Oxford

We found the early dinner menu to be great value! Both the food and service was excellent. It is a perfect place for a pre-theatre dinner.

Fab food n fab service. Its not expensive and you get a broad variety to choose from.would definitly recommend. . . . . . .

Very good food well prepared and served. One dish was modified to accommodate a dairy intolerance without any fuss and treated very professionally as nothing out of the ordinary. We enjoyed our visit.

Excellent value, tasty and well prepared food. Good wine list and service. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Hard to think of better value than Cote Oxford. A meal here is always a pleasure. I bring friends here and it is always a great success. Warmly recommended.

I am a vegetarian, the meal I had was substandard. I had the sausages. They were tasteless and dry. Potatoes dry. carrots were OK .

Really nice meal. We were a big party of 9 but everyone was really happy with their meals with a really good atmosphere and service.

Generally the food was good and reasonably priced. The service was fine. Unfortunately I had the ribeye which was very salty and nearly impossible to chew. It was so bad I actually choked on it! The restaurant refunded the cost of the steak which was left uneaten. Although they did compensate me it obviously ruined the evening.

Food and service up to the standard we expect from Côte. We both enjoyed our meals which were tasty and well presented. Service was polite and efficient - would go back.

The service was very helpful and the food reasonable. The space between the tables was good except near the toilets. A pleasant enough place to eat

Fantastic food, and amazing childcare! Our two little kids got a goodie bag (stars, crown, teddy), and they also provided us with an activity book and coloured pens. So the grown ups and the kids all had a great time!

Food was excellent but the service was slow considering the brasserie was not busy. The supervisor did come and apologise before we had got to the complaining, As more people came in the service improved so maybe more staff had arrived.

Very good value and very good food in a city of mediocre service and quality. Young, enthusiastic staff provided good quality food in very fair portions with a wine list that catered for a wide range of tastes and budgets. Definitely a step above the average chain and a really good feel.

Great food, we will definitely go back to a Cote in the future. Didn't have to wait too long for the food and staff were attentive.

Very efficient staff and excellent food would highly reccomend a visit. We had the anniversary menu with complimentary glass of bubbly everything was worth the money.

The food was fine and also the service for the drinks and main courses. However, after receiving the menu for desserts...we felt they had forgotten us. We had to make a sign to have someone taking the order and the restaurant was not full anymore. The dessert was delicious. 12% of imposed service is a bit too expensive. Overall, a good experience.

As always good value and excellent service. All the staff are friendly and work hard to make your meal enjoyable. We will return soon and look forward to it.

The food was delicious, the menus varied, the customer service was good and the price was very reasonable. If I lived in Oxford, I would be a regular.

The food was great and the waitresses very attentive. We chose from the 10 year anniversary menu which came with a glass of bubbly which down a treat for the birthday celebration

Initial service very poor. We were seated and then ignored. I politely mentioned at the desk we had been waiting 15 minutes and the service after that was excellent (plus a free bottle of wine). Food was good

We have visited Côte Brasserie in Oxford a couple of times as my daughter is studying there. We have had lovely meals on both occasions. The menu is diverse and the food excellent and we have always had good service. We have also visited the Côte in Covent Garden for my daughter's birthday last year which was also excellent. We look forward to dining with you again!

Excellent value early evening menu. Really good food. Small portions - but, hey there courses! And very supportive staff. All in all a good night out.

Very disappointing starter. Should have been warm poached egg and lardons on frizee lettuce. However icy cold egg and cold tough lardons did not do it. Otherwise good service and main course.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend the Cote Brasserie for any gathering where quality is valued, but in an informal environment.

Service was very slow for what we'd have expected, but our waiter was somewhat inexperienced. The food however was beautiful and really good quality. Apart from very slow service it was nice

We booked Cote Brasserie as a group of seven friends. The food was delightful and the service excellent. Great atmosphere too. All combined to provide a lovely evening together.

Whilst we were having our meal there was an incident at the next table which the waiter and the manager dealt with very professionally. They ensured that neither the people concerned nor ourselves had our evening spoilt by something that was in no way their fault and everyone was left feeling that they had been treated very graciously.

As always the food was fresh and pleasing. Also a good price. Only slight concern was that the menu wording and what arrived on the plate seemed somewhat at variance although this could have been down to misinterpretation of the terminology..

Excellent all round. Lovely food as always at Cote. Service brilliant. Wonderful value for money. I would recommend Cote especially the deal if you eat before 7 in the evening.

Good service at the Oxford branch, delicious food and really great atmosphere. Slightly slow service but very helpful staff. A lovely evening and somewhere I would recommend to others to go.

It was a pleasure. We got complimentary champagne for my birthday. Loved the ribeye and the chicken . Servive was impeccable . Definitely a hot favorite

Always an amazing meal here..staff always helpful. We've never had a bad meal. Only one disappointment today was that they had run out of a few items from the menu and because of this none of our party of 4 had a dessert (peach crumble) 😩

Staff friendly attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Food good. Excellent service. Money taken off the bill when the second course was delayed, quietly in a "no fuss"" way. We will be back

Very friendly service, great food ,however a small glass of wine was very expensive. We love Cote so we will return soon to enjoy the food without the wine.

Very good starters and excellent mains of uck confit / breast. Wines are good but selection might be refreshed. Friendly and efficient service despite the lateness of our supper.

The food was up to your usual high standard, except that one of my guests who chose the linguine was disappointed that she could not taste the chili which was mentioned in the description of the dish. The service was polite, but rather slow.
