Côte Oxford

Excellent service with a nice menu to choose from. We enjoyed our early evening meal, with a delicious bottle of merlot. Then we indulged in the special dessert.

The current menu had too much fish on offer. The July specials were limited. Meal chosen was well presented. Unfortunately one guest was very loud and his conversation dominated.

Fabulous, good service complimentary Fizz on arrival. Will book again for brunch and pre theatre supper. Very relaxed and interesting choices on menu for all tastes .

There was a buzz and vibrant atmosphere. Food was interesting and excellent. Service polite and attentive. Very happy with everything. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Met a friend for early dinner. The early bird menu is really good value. The service was really good and the food was tasty and well presented

Surprisingly underwhelming, never had a bad experience in a Cote but I guess there's a first time for everything. Our order wasn't taken until 30 mins after arrival, our drinks took forever to be served. 2 bowls of olives, 1 came, and then the other about 15 minutes later.. weird. It all went on like this until the end, I love Cote and will continue to enjoy your food and service, just not in the Oxford branch.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Oxford, reasonable prices and consistently good food. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the Kir Rosales which were a free birthday reward.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food generally great and good value for money. Gluten free menu available as well as children's menu. Would recommend highly.

Myself and my partner chose food frorm the a la carte menu and each course was delicious, the service was efficient but I wouldn't say particularly friendly.

Excellent food as always and prompt. However, we couldn't prompt a smile from the waitress who served us, it makes a difference. The two guys were great. SMILE!

Great food and very good staff. Restaurant was very busy, but waited only 1/2 hour for food. Nothing more to say about this, but have to fill the gap.

Lovely meal with a very good choice of food on the menu and good service. Had tickets for theatre and service good but not rushed.

As ever the food was well prepared and presented, and the service friendly and prompt. The downside was it was too noisy and diners in an adjacent table could not speak quietly!

This Cote restaurant is every bit as good as all the other Cote restaurants I have tried. The food and wines are very good and the service excellent.

Iwould rate the experience as rather average for the following reasons; portion control involved a hunt for some smoked mackerel amid a forest of lettuce and a grilled chicken that was a little undercooked in parts. The service was good but overall can and have un the past done a lot better

Fantastic service, champagne on the house for my daughter's graduation and delicious food, especially the tasty asparagus soup! Restaurant is my daughter's favourite in Oxford!

Initial service was slow. Long wait for drinks. And no they weren't very busy. Just inattentive. Not the kind of service we get in our local Cote.

Warm welcome, good food, good value, nice wine. Consistently good. We always eat here when visiting the theatre in Oxford. We will be back. Thank you.

Good food but it was far too stuffy. The air con had been switched off, the front door was shut and the windows were not open. I had to pop out to the street to cool down between starter and main, couldn't stay for pudding as the heat was too much.

All the staff are helpful, prompt, cheeeful and friendly. The service is excellent even though the restaurant is always very busy. Food always very good

An enjoyable dinner as always! A couple options from the 10th Anniversary Menu that we wanted to have were not available but the staff kindly made it up for us with a complementary glass of prosecco.

Great food, well cooked and served. Buzzy atmosphere and fair prices for the quality of the product. Good variety of choices to suit most people.

I had an extra person joining in at the last minute, but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The food and the whole ambiance was pretty awesome.

My family's favourite restaurant in Oxford. Consistently good food and service. We always eat here before The Theatre so have the choice of an early birds menu. Top tip....try the calamari, delicious. The steak and chips is also lovely, in fact never had a below par meal here!!!

we like the Cote Brasserie and always use this restaurant when we go to the Oxford theatres. The food is always good and the staff friendly and efficient.

Cote Brasserie in Oxford has excellent service and excellent food. We were going to the theatre, and arrived at the restaurant late due to traffic problems in Oxford. However the staff brought all our drinks and food very quickly, and we were finished in plenty of time for the performance.

Excellent meal, wonderful service. Pre theatre dinner booked for 6pm, served promptly. Well done cote ! Have been before and will certainly visit again. Never disappointed.

Very nice service and the menu was varied. Food was fresh and tasty. what the hell else is anyone interested in? Oh, yes, the view out of the window is the worst view (of a huge wall of an industrial something or other) in all of Oxford. There - reached the minimum word count.

Had Saturday special roast chicken. Generous portion,, piping hot. Dessert was frozen berries and warm white chocolate sauce. Good service and value for money is a Cote hallmark..

Some issues but handled to our satisfaction. Aspects were relating to non available items on the menu. Needless to say which we were not happy about.

Exceptional service, very attentive and friendly staff. Lovely food in a nice environment. Would certainly go back, the fixed price menu is a no brainer, with the menu changing regularly, it's an excuse to keep going back.

My experience last Thursday at Cote Brasserie Oxford was very good. The service was friendly and efficient & the food was nice. I would visit again.

Felt last night did not live up to usual standards. Our waitress was very good but overall service felt chaotic. Food varied in quality with one tough minute steak.

Excellent as always and good value. Steak excellent chips excellent peas excellent crab starter excellent free kir royale service efficient fast free water all make for first choice in Oxford

The service was good. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. There was plenty of selection on the menu, including a very cheap set menu that looked good. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Friendly staff and great food make this a great place to eat any time. Complementary bubbly was the unexpected icing on the cake for our Graduation celebration!

The food took forever to turn up, service was really slow. Food tastes great though. I feel the restaurant could benefit from higher staffing levels.

did my booking two hour before arrival and received confirmation within seconds. My lamb was delicious and service also good. Their 10y port wine a must taste!

The food and service were both good. They missed the offer that I had booked - the kir royales on arrival to celebrate the restaurant's 10th anniversary. I asked for the drink and it was then added to our bill. We had to ask to have this removed which they did without quibble. The system doesn't seem to know that you have booked an offer or is the restaurant? I will still go back though as I like the food.

Fantastic overall apartt from too much salt on one of the party's main meals​ (steak frites) - would be better to have salt on the table to add to taste.

Good tasty food from the 'Rapide' menu, speedily served with a minimum of fuss. Excellent service, and excellent value. Better than the comparable restaurant groups..

Good experience,polite staff ,food up to expectations except one starter.This was replaced without a problem and not charged on the bill. We really enjoyed our visit in Oxford.

Food and service were great, but there was a terrible smell coming through the restaurant now and then - smelt like sewerage - disgusting. Needs sorting out.

As always a warm welcome. Very good service and delicious meal. Air conditioning working well and a very hot evening. What more can you ask.
