Excellent friendly service complimented by very tasty and well prepared food. Thanks to attentive Senor waiter who made our visit very pleasant. Another excellent Cote experience.

The current menu had too much fish on offer. The July specials were limited. Meal chosen was well presented. Unfortunately one guest was very loud and his conversation dominated.

The food was up to your usual high standard, except that one of my guests who chose the linguine was disappointed that she could not taste the chili which was mentioned in the description of the dish. The service was polite, but rather slow.

Myself and my partner chose food frorm the a la carte menu and each course was delicious, the service was efficient but I wouldn't say particularly friendly.

Some issues but handled to our satisfaction. Aspects were relating to non available items on the menu. Needless to say which we were not happy about.

As ever the food was well prepared and presented, and the service friendly and prompt. The downside was it was too noisy and diners in an adjacent table could not speak quietly!

Initial service was slow. Long wait for drinks. And no they weren't very busy. Just inattentive. Not the kind of service we get in our local Cote.

Cote Brasserie in Oxford has excellent service and excellent food. We were going to the theatre, and arrived at the restaurant late due to traffic problems in Oxford. However the staff brought all our drinks and food very quickly, and we were finished in plenty of time for the performance.

Excellent meal, wonderful service. Pre theatre dinner booked for 6pm, served promptly. Well done cote ! Have been before and will certainly visit again. Never disappointed.

I liked the food Although my starter was cold And my steak too pink after I ask for well done The staff were okay but could of been a little more happy .

Iwould rate the experience as rather average for the following reasons; portion control involved a hunt for some smoked mackerel amid a forest of lettuce and a grilled chicken that was a little undercooked in parts. The service was good but overall can and have un the past done a lot better

Good food but it was far too stuffy. The air con had been switched off, the front door was shut and the windows were not open. I had to pop out to the street to cool down between starter and main, couldn't stay for pudding as the heat was too much.

All the staff are helpful, prompt, cheeeful and friendly. The service is excellent even though the restaurant is always very busy. Food always very good

An enjoyable dinner as always! A couple options from the 10th Anniversary Menu that we wanted to have were not available but the staff kindly made it up for us with a complementary glass of prosecco.

I had an extra person joining in at the last minute, but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The food and the whole ambiance was pretty awesome.

My family's favourite restaurant in Oxford. Consistently good food and service. We always eat here before The Theatre so have the choice of an early birds menu. Top tip....try the calamari, delicious. The steak and chips is also lovely, in fact never had a below par meal here!!!

Very nice service and the menu was varied. Food was fresh and tasty. what the hell else is anyone interested in? Oh, yes, the view out of the window is the worst view (of a huge wall of an industrial something or other) in all of Oxford. There - reached the minimum word count.

Had Saturday special roast chicken. Generous portion,, piping hot. Dessert was frozen berries and warm white chocolate sauce. Good service and value for money is a Cote hallmark..

Great food and very good staff. Restaurant was very busy, but waited only 1/2 hour for food. Nothing more to say about this, but have to fill the gap.

We were sadly disappointed at the poor quality of the food. This is the first time we've eaten at a Cote branch outside London. Normally, the standards are high. Not here, unfortunately.

Exceptional service, very attentive and friendly staff. Lovely food in a nice environment. Would certainly go back, the fixed price menu is a no brainer, with the menu changing regularly, it's an excuse to keep going back.

Felt last night did not live up to usual standards. Our waitress was very good but overall service felt chaotic. Food varied in quality with one tough minute steak.

Fantastic overall apartt from too much salt on one of the party's main meals​ (steak frites) - would be better to have salt on the table to add to taste.

Nice meal&service,good value&well presented.The restaurant felt a bit crowded,tables very close together and it was very busy initially. The midweek meal has a good choice of courses.

Efficient friendly service...nice food...good value..cod croquettes delicious tho couscous main was totally uninspiring. Hubble enjoyed his moules frites. Puds good...peach crumble and chocolate mousse. 3 courses for £13 is a good deal.

did my booking two hour before arrival and received confirmation within seconds. My lamb was delicious and service also good. Their 10y port wine a must taste!
