Côte Peterborough

In uncertain times it can be a concern eating out but out experience in Côte was amazing. Clean, friendly, well social distanced. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. There were three diners in our party. Between us we had the french onion soup, calamari and parfait. For main the borguinon and the tuna niscoise. All excellent. Couldn’t fault the place and will return!

Bill and l could not have had a better experience ,we come to Cote often and we are very happy with our food and service but today was exceptional.l had the haddock it was cooked to perfectly

My party and myself had an excellent evening, we were greeted in by a very polite and happy member of staff and show to our table. The menu was explained and all the courses were of a very good standard, both flavoursome and hot. We will definitely be booking again.

Again, superb quality food and friendly, efficient service. The staff was continually but discretely sanitising hands and cleaning tables so feels safe and normal. And the Chateaubriand... ohhh my. Delicious!!

As always, delightful attentive (but not smothering) staff and the most excellent food. Cote does the best rib-eye steaks!

Nice to have a Great meal in these uncertain times

My daughter and me went to Cotes this evening to celebrate her graduations. The food was lovely, the atmosphere perfect and the staff were amazing as always. Brought my daughters desert on a plate with congratulations written in chocolate on it... really lovely touch .. thank you.

Fantastic tasty food, good quality produce well cooked. Excellent coffee and friendly polite staff in beautiful surroundings. Best breakfast treat ever.

Amazing anniversary dinner .Complimentary glass of fizz with a card greeted us on arrival ,such a thoughtful gesture.The food was superb with amazing flavours and presentation. The staff were excellent, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed,warm with music and chat .We were given plenty of time to relax, decide what to choose and the right amount of time between courses was just right. All measure are in place to follow the socially distancing guidelines. This doesn't take away from the atmosphere or experience. You will not be disappointed and highly recommend .We will definately be booking again.Thank you again for making our wedding anniversary meal a very special one . Mark & Jayne

Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but the guy who served us and helped me with my booking was excellent. Polite, helpful and friendly without being overbearing. (He wore a pattered/flowery shirt)

First time in this chain restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious as the wine. Service was lovely as well. This restaurant just became our number one in Peterborough.

We had a most wonderful evening celebrating my partners birthday, all the staff were friendly, welcoming and considerate. They all made a real effort to acknowledge it was his birthday and the service we received was outstanding.

Lovely as always. Would have preferred the option to have something other than French fries with my main (poulet Breton) but to be honest the baked crottin was fantastic as always. I’d have that as a main if the portion size was bigger...

Very helpful service, good food, lamb was cooked just right for me. My husband enjoyed the pork, cleared his plate. Couldn’t manage a sweet as we would normally eat in the evening but today was an 80th birthday celebration.

fantastic customer service, we were really well looked after while we had a very tasty meal, strongly recommend the tuna!

The service was amazing, super friendly staff and the food was brilliant but if you order a steak of lamb, beef or tuna do not forget to mention it should be well done as when I asked for medium rare they'd served rare one and when I asked for well-done they'd served the best steak just like how I wanted - medium well.. Also the praline crepes for dessert is mind blowing goodness! Can't wait to come back again next week.

So pleased that Cote is open once again for Breakfast/Brunch. The welcome, service and food were all excellent as we’ve come to expect. Well done Peterborough Cote. Hoping that more people will be visiting you soon.

The service was outstanding & the food delicious. My new favourite restaurant in town.

We always get a nice welcome whenever we visit this place but this time we were made to feel real special with the table set to reflect our Anniversary, the staff as always were spot on and the food was really good. Look forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the staff Regards Stuart Pauline

Our first visit. Indeed our first meal in a restaurant since before 23rd March! We booked on line and I think we were going to be seated upstairs but as soon as they saw my wife's walking stick we were quickly found a table for two downstairs. We had a most enjoyable evening and we felt safe throughout. The only glitch was that my wife ordered the Moules Frites which somehow morphed into Poulet Grille. The mistake was quickly rectified and my Breton Fish Stew (which turned out to be wonderful) was whisked away to be kept hot until my wife's Moules Frites were ready. We moved to the area from Shropshire at the end of May and much of our evening was spent discussing how much most of our friends would enjoy it here when they were able to visit us at last. The final part of the evening was spent chatting with a young waitress about the places we'd visited and would like to visit. She was planning a visit to the USA with her boyfriend in a couple of years time. We hope she makes it and that they have a wonderful holiday although we expect to be seeing her a number of time between now and then!

Great food, nice service .little bit tucked in the corner. Social distancing creates a better space than normal .

Excellent staff welcome into that pleasant buzz of a full restaurant. The meal was surprisingly quick to arrive and both of us were pleased with the result.The Moules with less cream and perhaps a splash more wine might suit more tastes, but still very nice. The pan-fried Pork Belly was to die for. Saturday night and so pleasing to see such a well dressed clientele across the generations, in these C19 times. It gave the feeling of a classy venue. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had an absolutely marvellous golden wedding dinner at Cote Peterborough tonight. The wonderful staff provided flowers, chocolates, a card and free cocktails. The food was terrific, as usual, and the service was top-notch. Nothing tastes better than Cote’s Crepes Grand Marnier. Fabulous.
