Côte Peterborough

We always get a nice welcome whenever we visit this place but this time we were made to feel real special with the table set to reflect our Anniversary, the staff as always were spot on and the food was really good. Look forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the staff Regards Stuart Pauline

Our first visit. Indeed our first meal in a restaurant since before 23rd March! We booked on line and I think we were going to be seated upstairs but as soon as they saw my wife's walking stick we were quickly found a table for two downstairs. We had a most enjoyable evening and we felt safe throughout. The only glitch was that my wife ordered the Moules Frites which somehow morphed into Poulet Grille. The mistake was quickly rectified and my Breton Fish Stew (which turned out to be wonderful) was whisked away to be kept hot until my wife's Moules Frites were ready. We moved to the area from Shropshire at the end of May and much of our evening was spent discussing how much most of our friends would enjoy it here when they were able to visit us at last. The final part of the evening was spent chatting with a young waitress about the places we'd visited and would like to visit. She was planning a visit to the USA with her boyfriend in a couple of years time. We hope she makes it and that they have a wonderful holiday although we expect to be seeing her a number of time between now and then!

Great food, nice service .little bit tucked in the corner. Social distancing creates a better space than normal .

Excellent staff welcome into that pleasant buzz of a full restaurant. The meal was surprisingly quick to arrive and both of us were pleased with the result.The Moules with less cream and perhaps a splash more wine might suit more tastes, but still very nice. The pan-fried Pork Belly was to die for. Saturday night and so pleasing to see such a well dressed clientele across the generations, in these C19 times. It gave the feeling of a classy venue. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had an absolutely marvellous golden wedding dinner at Cote Peterborough tonight. The wonderful staff provided flowers, chocolates, a card and free cocktails. The food was terrific, as usual, and the service was top-notch. Nothing tastes better than Cote’s Crepes Grand Marnier. Fabulous.

Wonderful service. Real attention to detail. We had one meal which was a bit fatty. It was still excellent but after the table had been cleared the waitress came back and said we would not be charged for that meal. That is what I call first class . Cote at Peterborough never fails to deliver. We had another wonderful experience. Only down were the very loud girls near us. A case of total self absorption and lack of awareness. Swearing at the table loudly is simply poor manners.

Every month we have our Saturday lunch at Cote Brasserie, Peterborough and every time it is perfect. So nice to be looked after by such friendly staff and be served such tasty and hot food. Always a pleasure to visit. Hope you manage to keep open,

It’s a fantastic location, cathedral square Peterborough Your welcomed at the door and taken your table , All COVID-19 safe , The decor is in keeping with a French restaurant.a nice chilled atmosphere.Staff on point , professional I always k ow what ever food l order is of a high standard, delicious every time Guaranteed a good experience, been on a number of occasions, will go again at some point . Glad to see Cote, Peterborough busy on a cold Thursday evening. Covid-secure precautions strictly followed so dining was a relaxed experience. Good food and service.

Our Wedding anniversary. A lovely meal, very good service and a special added touch with personalised Anniversary desserts! Restrictions meant we couldn't linger after 10am - and it was a little quiet - but everything else was excellent Thank you!

They made my parents feel so welcome on their anniversary by giving them a card, dressing the table, giving them a free glass of bubbles and writing on their puddings! Thank you so much!

We just love this restaurant- the setting, the staff and the food are all excellent. Thoroughly recommend! In the current climate, we also feel very safe with the measures which have been put in place. Thank you for giving us a lovely evening.

I would like to say how well Dominica looked after us last night. Our table was delayed, she apologised profusely, covered the cost of a drink in another establishment whilst we were waiting, put us at the best table and gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful and I would like my thanks to be passed on to her. As a result of her hospitality (and the delicious food) we would definitely come back to Cote again and recommend you to other people.

As always, everything was excellent - food, service and atmosphere.

The food is simply the best to be had in Peterborough. The French onion soup was a fine starter and the Breton fish stew was perfect for an autumn afternoon. The service was excellent and the staff genuinely made me feel welcome. A shame that current restrictions meant that I had to dine alone on my birthday, but the dining experience went a very long way to compensating for that!

Very tasty food and excellent service. Good Covid strategies in place

The food was extremely good this time. The pork tenderloin was so soft and tender, chateaubriand was beautiful and the pork belly as tasty as ever. Lovely friendly service, free cocktails, delicious desserts...we were very happy diners.

Lovely meal beautifully prepared and attentively served, a little pricey but very good quality in a pleasant city centre setting.

Thank you so much for looking after us, great service as always and perfect food. The waitress was great to explain vegan options to my friend.
