Côte Peterborough

Dine here with my wife most months and have always had an excellent meal. We go early evening so my wife can have the set menu and I can indulge in the monthly specials.

Service was good but no butter knife or plates for bread were provided we had to ask for these. Food was nice. Would go again but maybe not on a sat eve, was quite busy.

Good menu. Excellent food and ambience. Spotlessly clean. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Extensive but not over fussy wine list. First Class. We'll be coming back.

Great service from welcome through to coffee. Fresh grilled plaice was excellent.cooked just right with tasty butter sauce. The only slight annoyance was the gratuity added to the bill. I understand why resteraunts do this but Prefer this to be at my discretion

Went as a group of 4. All the food was excellent. I had the Breton half roast chicken for the first time at Cote and it was delicious as was the Roquefort butter. Others had the veal escalope and pork belly which were equally good. Lovely profiteroles for dessert and reasonably priced wine. The service was also very friendly and professional. We have been to Cote a number of times and it is always consistently good.

Very good menu,so good it took us quite a few minutes to decide. Lovely staff to serve you.The food was amazing,as always.We shall be going back for more.

Lovely meal and wait staff. Felt chased out of the restaurant towards the end to make room for another reservation. Loved everything except being made to feel uncomfortable at the end

We visited on a Sunday bank holiday evening so it was very quiet. The service was excellent and the food was very nice too! Will definitely be going back and will be recommending to friends and family.

Reservation was booked online for a evening table with a works customer, table was ready as booked, service staff were pleasant and the food was to a high standard, and very enjoyable. However the general service was a bit lacking, since I was entertaining for work I would have liked the staff to keep asking if we wanted more drinks etc but we needed to keep attracting their attention every time we required some more drinks, this was not only disappointing to us but also resulted in the restaurant missing out on additional charges for us. The restaurant was not busy and so that was not the reason for the lack of attention.

My second visit to the restaurant. There is a good choice on the menu, food excellent and the staff are very helpful, atmosphere great too.

The food was absolutely lovely, everything fresh prepared and made for expectation. Stuff was well organised and very polite. I would definitely recommend your restaurant and come back

Excellent service and good quality food Once agin enjoyed our visit good for all meals but we have found the breakfast menu particularly enjoyable and a pleasant surprise

Lovely restaurant. Beautiful food. Perfect service. The staff were very good and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was lovely as always and for my mums first time at cote I was very happy.

It was our first time at Cote. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food and service were fantastic. We will be back!

Good food but rushed service and my main meal was forgotten. Once reminded the staff did sort it out and the manager removed the cost of the dish from the bill but it was very obvious that one person out of a party of 6 had no main course! This spoilt the meal which should have been an enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed an excellent meal, great quality food and the service was very friendly and efficient and not too rushed as we have found in other cote restaurants. We will definitely be back again soon.

Lovely lunch with my birthday Kir Royal and good company. Excellent service and lovely food but missed the Artichoke Gratin I had last time but the Celeriac Remoulade was very good. We will be back again.

It was great to see a relatively full Cotes. My usual starter, the charcuterie board is a beautiful mix of textures and tastes. I couldn't decide between the duck and the pork belly, but was not disappointed with the pork which was crispy on top and succulent below. The food is always perfectly cooked and I can honestly say we have not had a bad meal. I'd thought that there had been a lamb dish in the mains which I'd really enjoyed in the past - shame it has gone. Lovey wine, Cotes du Rhone rouge. Back soon.

Good food served nice and hot!! Plenty of choice on the menu. Nice selection of wine. Service was as usual attentive but not intrusive. Nice decor with a pleasant buzzy atmosphere. We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed.

A wonderful establishment! Although our main course was running late ( due to a hen party and group booking at exactly the same time), we hadn't complained but the manager came over, checked to see if our wine bottle was empty and then promptly replaced it at no cost citing that 'wine is meant to be eaten with your meal'. Our food then tuned up 30 seconds later with profuse apologies.

Good food, good service. Always enjoy myself there. We usually go at lunchtime and order of the lunchtime menu. The portion sizes suit us as we do not like large meals although you get plenty.

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere 👍 Good variety on the menu and range of seasonal food available that means we are spoilt for choice.

Had a lovely birthday meal with friends last week. The staff were very attentive and looked after our group very well. I was greated with a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival which was very nice. The food was excellent and served promptly. My friends had got a birthday cake for me and the restaurant presented it on a decorated plate with happy birthday and my name piped in chocolate, they also sang happy birthday. All together a very lovely evening and very good value.

Friendly greeting on arrival - simple but so often doesn't happen. A wide range of menu options - I could have quite happily chosen anything that was on offer. Went for fillet steak and it didn't disappoint. To summarise, great service and fantastic food.

Very good food, great service, nice ambience, reasonable prices if you go for 12-7pm deal. My favourite chain restaurant in central Peterborough. Definitely recommend a visit

Everything was perfect from the minute we sat down. It was a friends birthday & the whole restaurant came out to sing happy birthday with a cake we brought. Food was delicious, will bad back again

Great food, customer service and value - enjoyed the early evening dinner menu and house wine that was very nice indeed. This place always has a nice buzz in the evening as the food is always good.

Lovely evening at Core Brasserie Peterborough with some friends. The food was wonderful and tasty and the service was brilliant. The early evening set menu is also brilliant value!

Fantastic food. Staff very pleasant and obliging. Atmosphere is pleasant. Have been 3 times in the past month and the standard of food has always been 10/10.

Very good meal and very good service. We have now been a few times to Cote and cannot fault the experience. Will definitely visit again.

Disappointed that my husbands birthday drink was added to the bill, although in fairness the waitress did remove the offending values before I paid the balance

Service good - we like the way the food is delivered from the kitchen on a tray with two people. The food is excellent of course.

Superb food, great wine list, friendly and helpful Staff and a great place for either a casual meal or a special occasion dinner! My meal arrived and wasn't quite how I wanted it (steak slightly overdone) - nothing tragic, but he Staff immediately took it away and within 10 minutes produced a fresh plate which was right on the monmey! Try it - you'll like it!
