Consistently good food and excellent service, every time we visit.

Great to return to our favourite restaurant and felt very safe. All precautions were taken by staff to welcome us back.

Three stars only because the staff were pleasant and helpful. We took advantage of the 'Eat out to Help out' on a Monday lunchtime, just as well as we would have been very upset to have paid the full Menu price! The lamb loin chops (2) were unattractive and difficult to cut the meat from, the peas were an unappetising shade of dull green. My chicken and walnut salad was very simple but just adequate, unfortunately it was served in what resembled a glass mixing bowl. Cote used to be more upmarket than this, we have been to several branches many times over 4 years but this was not the impressive lunch treat we expected. Oh, and no chocolate sprinkles on the anaemic cappuccino. Something has gone wrong here, presentation and quality are just not up to previous standards.

I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday lunch with family and friends today. The staff were lovely and friendly and we all enjoyed our food. I was given a free bottle of bubbly and a lovely chocolate desert with a candle in it. 🙂

Good food and very pleasant staff. Long delay between starter and main course which, to be fair, we hadn't experienced on previous visits. Square tables for two are very small. We shared a tomato salad as a side to accompany the main courses which meant the plates for the mains couldn't fully fit on the table!

So good to see you reopened! We had a lovely lunch, despite the current restrictions which were not obtrusive. the restaurant was quiet today, but I believe Mon-Wed was very busy because of the 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme.

The staff were extremely friendly and obliging and the social distancing/hygiene standards were superb. Sadly, I suppose that it's because of the lockdown, that the food wasn't up to our expected standards. We've eaten before with you and been very happy. This time we decided to eat something different. I had the Cheeseburger with Reblochon cheese and my wife had the Risotto. The bread that the Cheeseburger was encased in had been frozen and was not fresh. It also tasted bland and was tough. You would only cook the Burger as Medium Well Done or Well Done which points to it being frozen too, as you refused to cook it just Medium. The taste of the Burger confirmed my suspicions as it wasn't much to speak of. As for the Reblochon cheese there was barely a teaspoon of it. Very mean. My wife's Risotto was apparently "gloopy" and stodgy. OK I understand that the lockdown has been tough, but I don't think I'll bother to eat out again until the frozen food has been used up and we can enjoy fresh food again!!

Much as I loved being back at Côte after so long away, I was quite disappointed with the limited menu. There is such a limited choice for vegetarians. Only one veggie main course option and nuts in two of the veggie starters (daughter has a nut allergy). It was lovely to see everyone back and hopefully thriving but would love there to be at least another couple of vegetarian choices.

Lovely meal with particular attention paid to our 11 year old for his birthday. Superb service and delicious food. So great to be back in Côte at Reigate.

Lovely lunch. The chicken and walnut salad was yummy and the risotto looked nice too. Children well catered for and friendly helpful staff. Was well spaced out and felt fresh and safe. All round good experience.

Thought i was in France for a couple of hours, but the locals understood me. The Eat out to help out caught everyone by surprise, exceptional turn out. But staff went the extra mile despite the heat and discomfort wearing their face masks. Made a lovely change from the usual takeaways.

At last, Cote Reigate reopens, and how wonderful it is to be back! The restaurant was very busy with diners, the staff were doing an exceptional job and adhering to government guidelines. We were warmly welcomed by Georgi, David and Nikki, and had a lovely meal in air conditioned surroundings. Thank you so much Cote Reigate, we will be returning very soon!

First day of opening and there werea few teething problems such as no social distancing in the toilets and the chairs were not one metre apart in some locations. Other than that lovely to see Cote back. Oh and get that wine chilled for my next visit!

I couldn’t wait for Cote Reigate to re open. I am a firm fan of Cote. My experience was outstanding as per normal. Staff and service was exceptional, nothing short of exemplary.

Central needing point as from Hampshire, Kent and Sussex but used to work together in Reigate before office closed in 2004. Staff were very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. Happy for us to chat and take our time ordering and enjoying the meal. Good variety of food available which was well cooked and presented. Great evening.

Extremely pleasant and efficient service. Delightful staff and lovely ambiance. My wife and I dine here regularly and my 29 years old son is a true convert.

We visited the Cote for dinner on Saturday and had a very enjoyable evening. The food and service were excellent. We have been here many times and apart from one occasion it has been very good. There is one very irritating issue in as much as they absolutely refuse to serve biscuits with cheese. They claim that they are a French restaurant and that is the way it is served. I would just make two points. 1, The restaurant is in Reigate ENGLAND! 2. I have spent a lot of time in Paris on business and eating and biscuits with cheese has never been a problem! I do hope this is not just a reflection of French arrogance in food service but it is very irritating. I had cheese and bread and paid the digestive price for it when I got home

As always a beautiful breakfast and wonderful service from all the staff.. we were a party of 12 and waiting time was not bad at all. Thank you cotes Reigate.

What a lovely evening; the restaurant was buzzing and full of warmth and atmosphere. As always a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff when we arrived. A wonderful restaurant to be part of. My in laws who had arrived before us were amazed by the welcome they received from Máté. How wonderful to see him return to the Reigate restaurant. The service was flawless and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent advice on the menu too and the food as always was delicious. Reigate never disappoints. We look forward to returning and seeing him and the rest of the staff again.Our request for a booth was fulfilled too, which was great. All in all an outstanding evening and wonderful start to the weekend.

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed a pre-booked lunch. The initial greeting was warm, the service attentive but not over the top, the food was well presented and tasty and the glasses of wine at just the right temperature. What more could you want ?

Enjoyable meal and lovely service. We ordered medium steaks and the ones delivered were very well done, the waitress immediately apologised and got some new steaks in order. The manager personally came to apologise and couldn’t have been nicer. The new steaks were perfectly cooked. As we were with two small children the wait wasn’t ideal but wasn’t too bad. Very happy with the free soft drinks we had and complimentary dessert. Will come again.
