A lovely lovely lunch with complimentary Kir Royale for my birthday month and the most delicious PanFried Haddock followed by Crème Caramel. Yum. Highly recommend.

Cote is normally v.good but not up to it this time- a Sunday at 1600 hrs. About a half of the Minute steak was too tough.Disappointing.

We booked for Mother’s Day lunch and we all had a lovely meal. Good variety on menu at a reasonable price. All in all a very pleasant experience.

As is always the case, Cote Salisbury provides a very enjoyable dining experience, with good food, very reasonably priced and a pleasant atmosphere. Not so full this evening, possibly due to the current freezing conditions on the roads.Staff are excellent and friendly. Consistently the best of the Côtés we visit- and all have been good.

We come here all the time and were so disappointed with our experience .Staff was unfriendly ,we waited along time until our order was taken , it was impossible to get water or a refill on our drinks. The table next to us left because they were not served. When the food finally arrived it was dreadful.

Amazing - as always. Set lunch is fantastic value and the food is wonderful. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere is great. Will continue to visit on a regular basis

We have been regularly eating at Cote Brasserie Salisbury since it opened and have always been impressed by the food and staff, especially compared to other Cote Brasserie locations. We are moving away from the area and will miss our frequent visits for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Food was excellent and fairly priced. Service was very slow and the staff preferred to be clearing the restaurant and shutting down for the night rather than attending to customers. Ordered hot drinks, they never arrived. The restaurant itself had no atmosphere or ambience. Very brightly lit,no music

Your staff were all beyond charming and helpful for this birthday lunch. My risotto was a bit underwhelming if I’m honest, 2 x mushroom & cheese pancakes were (as always) excellent but the chicken Caesar salad presentation was NOT good: I’ve never seen it presented so poorly: a mass of slithers of chicken sitting on top of a huge salad in quite a small bowl. My companion had to tip it on to a plage in order to mix it together.. surprisingly really poor presentation for such a standard dish which tasted good.

Having been to Cote many times before, I was surprised to see how slightly more plain and unattractive it looked. (Hadn’t been for a many months) Also we waited too long to even be asked if we would like some drinks, then waited too long for the meal to arrive. However, the staff and the food were very good.

Cote is a really nice place to eat, that is tastefully decorated, food is of good quality but small portions & expensive, if prices & portion sizes improved would eat regularly there.

A lovely lunch, being a vegetarian I chose from the separate vegetarian menu. There was lots of choice and the food was very nice and the service good.

We ordered two starters the same - warm prawn salad - after twenty minute delay ONE arrived another fifteen minutes plus chase second arrived Main courses fine & one time. It shows Manageress has left !! Let's hope it improves

There were flies in the restaurant. And the manager/assistant manager ( sorry she had a bruise under her eye but that’s a rude description) looked so very miserable like she wanted to be somewhere else. Quite rude really. A meal out is a treat so we should be made to feel so. Some of the staff didn’t know what they were doing as in putting food on the wrong tables so need more support. Service by Adam? Very tall chap with dark hair was very personal and friendly.

First time to this restaurant. Food and service was excellent. This was a quiet Sunday evening however so do not know how service would be at a busy time. I will definitely being going again.

We eat quite often at Cote and really enjoy it. However today we had allowed 1hr 20mins for a two course meal prior to going to the theatre. The order was taken fairly promptly and the first course arrived within 10 minutes but the main course then took 40 minutes after the first course had been tidied up. As a result we had to have coffee at the same time as the main course and didn't have time to enjoy the meal or indeed finish it. I nearly removed the 12.5% gratuity which is built in to the bill but we didn't have time and it would not have been fair on the waitress as the delay wasn't her fault.

Food was okay ish and service was very hit and miss. My main was overcooked which is a shame and the portion sizes were fairly small

Always our favourite place for pre-theatre dining. An excellent meal, as always. Wonderful food, attentive staff, good atmosphere. Only sorry we didn’t have time for dessert! We’ll be back soon.

Excellent meal at Côte in Salisbury. Great service from the staff who were very friendly, polite and efficient. We had a 3 course meal and each course arrived quickly, and was pretty much faultless. Very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is good and service is very good but the menu needs changing more regulay as you have regulars. Very good atmosphere and love going there

It is always worth starting with a Kir Royale - a very French thing to do and for a change my wife and I had the same things to eat up to the desert. The smoked salmon here is beautifully presented and garnished with diced shallot, a good dressing of creme fraiche, capers and dill and served with toasted sour dough bread. Absolutely delicious. This month's special main courses include a 14 ounce chateaubriand for 2 at £19.50 per head. A lovely char-grilled piece of fillet is served medium rare on a bed of caramelised red onions accompanied by a good portion of frites and bearnaise sauce. This is exceptional value for these well prepared dishes and was also delicious. The house Merlot by the glass matched very well with the steak. Disaster of disasters - the best creme caramels in the universe are so good that they had sold out and also earlier diners had also polished off the creme brulees - how dare they!!! Never mind you can't beat the Tarte Fine Aux Pommes with an accompanying "boule" of vanilla ice cream, and my wife was delighted with her Coupe Noire. Another fantastic meal at Cote Salisbury where the whole team excel themselves every time. Daniel beware - you might get head hunted by the Ritz.

Really good meal, as always. Very accommodating with toddler. A bit chaotic with other diners who were early theatre goers expecting quicker service. Waitress was perhaps new...

Great food as ever, love the choice of menus (inc seasonal March menu), the complimentary drinks via website membership, the staff are always great, especially at Salisbury. We love coming here time and time again and are so lucky to have it on our doorstep.

A family birthday lunch for four of us. I have criticised front of house reception on occasions but today was faultless. We were expected, greeted warmly and led to our preferred table First impressions are really important and today made the experience first class. The food, service and wine were up to their usual very high standards and the chateubriand was perfectly cooked and presented. In all, the lunch lived up to the excellent reputation we have come to expect over the years from a very popular restaurant.
