After we ordered a waiter filled 6 buckets with ice ,3 were right next to our table and with the noise we could not hear one another. A professional considerate waiter would have taken each bucket to the ice machine. Eventually our breakfasts arrived and we had to ask where are drinks were. We were told they were on the way! We asked again but another waiter and the hot drinks arrived when we were half way through our breakfasts and then the fruit juices arrived. There was no apology forthcoming. My husband spoke to someone when we were leaving and they did apologise but felt it was to late. We would not have left a tip with the service we received but it’s included. I have worked in this industry myself and expect better service and glasses to be cleaned and dried correctly. Sadly a disappointing experience.

A lovely lunch, being a vegetarian I chose from the separate vegetarian menu. There was lots of choice and the food was very nice and the service good.

There were flies in the restaurant. And the manager/assistant manager ( sorry she had a bruise under her eye but that’s a rude description) looked so very miserable like she wanted to be somewhere else. Quite rude really. A meal out is a treat so we should be made to feel so. Some of the staff didn’t know what they were doing as in putting food on the wrong tables so need more support. Service by Adam? Very tall chap with dark hair was very personal and friendly.

Delicious food well cooked and served quickly with cheerful and friendly efficiency. The menu offers an interesting range of choices including vegetarian yet is not so vast as to be bewildering. Our party of 5 had a variety of dishes across 3 courses and all were enjoyed greatly. Wine selection presented in a novel way that assists selection, priced sensibly. A most enjoyable meal and a perfect way to dine out on my birthday.

It was ok. Nothing special. Quality of the food was average though I was supposed to have had a sauce with my steak but got a lump of cheese instead. Probably better suited to the lunchtime rows than the evening.

Nice atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome. My favourite restaurant in Salisbury. Only criticism is the location of the toilets, upstairs. Otherwise very happy with our visit!

Very good restaurant. Excellent value for money. Tables could be further apart, noise levels could therefore be a tad better. But then the prices would then inevitably increase.

We enjoyed another excellent meal in this always to be relied on group of restaurants. Wherever we go we look out for a Cote Brasserie first because you can always guarantee good service, good quality food and wine. The Salisbury branch is one of the best - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Just superb. Our waitress was brilliant. We were treated to a Bucks Fizz on arrival as it was our son's birthday. With our order I asked for some brown bread toast and it was possibly the best toast I've ever tasted. Our son, who lives in Salisbury won't go anywhere else, and you can see why. Can't fault it at all. The staff are all so nice, and that may be the most important thing of all.

We come to Cotes in Salisbury most weekends for breakfast. As usual the staff are really friendly and the food is always very good!

First time for a breakfast . Full English all freshly cooked absolutely delicious.

Main meals not out together. Another table served inbetween. The kids starter came out 10 minutes before adults starter. This may have been a deliberate strategy for hungry kids, but we weren't asked.

Brilliant lunch in a very stylish building, full of character. Service was also very good and attentive. Choice of the 'set-lunch' was very good, so we all decided to go with that (the French cidre was also very good!). Would definitely return next time I'm in Salisbury.

I had my birthday meal at Côte and I couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We started with a complimentary kir royale and finished with a complimentary chocolate fondant PLUS candle PLUS the lovely server singing happy birthday - I felt thoroughly spoilt.

We had a lovely time, I ordered my steak medium and my girlfriend ordered hers rare.... both where very over cooked so that was a shame., otherwise the food was delicious and service very good.

We had a pre theatre visit to Cote. All the staff were professional, helpful and very pleasant. the meal was good, I really enjoyed the brioche and mushrooms. always a good choice for a meal out. Thanks to all the staff

For the second time I have been overcharged. One is enticed in with a complimentary drink, St Germain, spritz, and then find it is on the bill. The escalope de veau was on the dry side. It’s a shame the vegetables are charged as an extra and prices are creeping up and not the value for money it once was. I feel Côte is losing the plot.

I pre ordered meals for ten people for lunch on Monday, 2nd March, 2020. In spite of the fact that the restaurant was particularly busy, the service we received was prompt, friendly and most helpful. The meals that we received were exactly as ordered and all ten arrived at the same time so nobody was left waiting. Everybody in our party thought the selection excellent, the food hot and delicious. We had all come to celebrate a very special occasion and our reception at Côte Salisbury was perfect.
