Th food is lovely, service great and good value. I did request a quiet table by the window as our guest was a 93 year old who has difficulty with hearing. Despite booking nearly 10 days before the lunch on arrival was not given an appropriate table. It made the whole experience far less pleasant because the difficulties with background noise.
Very good service, buzzy atmosphere, lovely food! Only downside was that the way it is constructed, we were round the back with no natural daylight.
Quick and friendly service and excellent food we will definitely be back . We loved the kir royales and the chocolate fondants were delicious as were the fish cakes
We were well looked after. I'd booked a table but at the last minute needed an extra chair. The first waiter I asked said he couldn't help, but another waiter managed to find a spare chair, although the restaurant was very busy. Excellent food as usual. We love the readily available chilled tap water.

Excellent pre-concert meal in a friendly, vibrant environment. Service was quick and sure, so no worries about timing. Food and wine excellent quality and great value. Highly recommended.
It was a pleasure to have our pre-theatre supper here - I have been here many times but it was my old friend's first experience and she was impressed with the location, quality of the food and value for money. Look forward to my next visit - J
A lovely lunch meal for three of us. The service was knowledgeable and good in pleasant surroundings. The only disappointment was that a dish we wanted to try was not available when we visited. Hope it's available when we visit again.....
We came after a choir performance and were therefore eating later than usual. Th staff were very patient and helpful and the food was delicious. We had a great night, thank you.
Always delicious food at very reasonable prices, in great locations throughout London. Good menu choices with something to please everyone, with friendly servic. The pre theatre slot is always busy so book early.
Côte delivered, as ever. Always reliable. Service a little slow, but it was Saturday and full of people. As General Douglas McArthur said: "I will return." ( "Better Leyte than never" for those in the know.)
Good service and food is consistently good. Never disappoints. It's always worth making a reservation as it gets busy although they do seem to generally manage to seat people without.
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Two of us had steak and it was cooked just as we asked for it. Good value for money
Good, brisk, friendly service. Good food. Very reasonable prices for the fixed 3-course menu. Busy restaurant but comfortable atmosphere. No problems or issues throughout the meal.
Booked quite late in the morning, but all worked, which was great as the queue/waiting time was quite long. However, service was a little slow
Good pre-theatre dinner for 4 of us. Generally efficient and friendly service at a very busy time for them. Pre-theatre menu is pretty good value.
Always lovely to come through the doors to a warm welcome and buzzy atmosphere. Over several visits, I cannot fault the friendly, charming, professional service, the menu choice, excellent food and wine. And good value too! Thank you.
slight confusion over booking. Decor very typical of Cote. The service was good as usual for this chain. The food is consistently of a good quality at cote and this branch was no different.
Unfortunately my request for a particular table was not met even though I booked over a week ago and phoned in the morning! We were given kirs royale as compensation and our lunch was very nice. Crème caramel delicious as always
The atmosphere at Sunday brunchtime in Cote Sloane Square was relaxed and welcoming. The service was friendly, efficient and quick but we were never rushed. Which was just as well as the really good cappunicos were worth lingering over.
Table reservation good Celebrating my daughter's birthday Spilt nearly a whole bottle of champagne over me and the floor Offered me the dryer in the downstairs toilet!! First course fine / good Waited well over an hour for the main course. Rare steak ordered; twice sent back as over cooked. Gave me a discount. Company made up for a poor evening of service
We have dined at this branch of Cote many times and always enjoyed it in the past. The food is always reliable and a meal at Cote does not break the bank. This branch, in particular, has a very nice ambience. Our visit on this occasion was not very satisfactory. The waitress seemed to have little interest in listening to what we were ordering and consequently we received the wrongs drinks initially and didn't receive the sides we had ordered.
There is an extensive choice on the menu. There is a vibrant atmosphere. The staff are friendly. It was not expensive and we will certainly return.
we were a party of four needing to get fed before a concert, good food, good service. efficient delivery against pre concert timeline, friendly atmosphere of crowded restaurant, London at its best!
Pleasant, unpretentious and affordable place with attentive and attractive staff. Good location. I always have the granola and berry dish for breakfast so can't comment on the menu, though my friend's salmon and scrambled eggs looked good too. Busy at lunchtime so you need to book (I have been unable to get a table on various occasions).
Always busy and buzzing, but always a great meal. Excellent value set menu. Staff attentive and adept. Would recommend booking at this venue, as gets busy at peak times.
Restaurant was buzzing, service good , food good pre theatre menu satisfying. Many early diners, so restaurant fairly full but having pregooked it was not an issue.
As usual, good quality food and excellent service. The tuna nicoise salad is consistently excellent. Cote Sloane Square is a great place to visit after a concert at the Cadogan Hall with the added attraction of a free kir royale with your concert ticket!
The location of the restaurant is excellent and the set lunch menu very good value. I would recommend both the restaurant and location to any visitor.
All in all a very good experience - the food was good (would recommend the duck confit) and the service pleasant. Excellent value for money.
Pleasant waiting staff, reasonable value for this expensive area. The fillet steak was all right but I've had better. Drinks are not too expensive. Free filtered water!
Mostly good but artichokes under cooked / tough. Also don't like frites in a bucket (Cote not the only culprit) as you really have to use fingers. Moules as a starter were good value.
Delicious food, lots of options - very reasonably priced. The Service was reasonable considering it was Mothering Sunday. A very enjoyable lunch with my adult daughter.
This was ideal for a pre concert dinner. The service was efficient and food, delicious. This is always a reliable chain of restaurants for this kind of occasion.
Pleasant atmosphere; good pre-theatre menu, excellent value. Would have appreciated more vegetarian choices. Silly, unnecessary fuss when we were unexpectedly joined by another guest: although we had plenty of room at the table, the waiter said another chair couldn't be provided, as "this would mess up the whole system." A quiet word with a more senior staff member, and common sense prevailed: our guest joined us, and added another £12 to the bill.
Very good value lunch menu with wide choice. Enjoyed all the food but device, although friendly was rather slow and the noise level made conversation difficult.
I am a regular at Cote and I never fail to enjoy the good straightforward food and the kind service. The French Onion Soup is a speciality and always delicious.
Very pleasant evening with good food and attentive staff and buzzy atmosphere.........Thanks! Have used this branch before and it always seems to come up to expectations,
Efficient and friendly service and the expected good range of food, including the March "specials". A very busy restaurant, so glad we booked in good time!
Great service, lively atmosphere, good menu selection and very tasty food. French onion soup was delicious. Steaks were good - perfectly cooked. Family friendly in the evening.
The restaurant was far too noisy. The tables were far too close together, so serving staff brushed the chairs of all our guests as they walked past and worse lifted food on trays above our heads when delivering both food and drinks to other tables. We were placed on a table big enough for four people when there were five of us. Worse, the table, inexplicably , was between the waiters' service station and the kitchens so it was like dining in Piccadilly Station. Also serving staff cleared away some of our plates away before we had all finished eating, rookie error but cannot be forgiven. Starters and were both puddings both ok, mains portions too small however. Wouldn't go back. Ever.
Even though they were busy, pre theatre on a bank holiday weekend, service was excellent, not rushed, and food as good as ever. Good that the lady came down the queue to find people like ourselves who had pre-booked. Thank you Côte, you didn't disappoint.
Pretty good overall, one waiter after we asked him if we could have no chili in the Linguine went off to check and then never came back, so we waited a while before asking another waiter to take our order. But food was very good.
For those seeing a play at The Royal Court over the road,Cote is a fantastic place for pre-theatre meal. Not only is there an extensive a la carte menu avaiable but also a set menu with plenty of choice. There's something to suit every budget.
Pre-theatre menu - had the poached egg/ lardons salad, seafood linguine, chocolate mousse, house red and coffee. It was excellent value, had impeccable service, and great food.
Great service always very professional. Food is very consistent and of a high quality only problem it's a bit noisy difficult to have a conversation. Makes a great pre theatre restaurant.
My free bottle of Sauvignon blanc through cote rewards was not applicable together with their pre 7 pm two course dinner offer. This I was not aware of until I arrived at the restaurant
Good value for money. Restaurant is always very busy at lunch but staff are still friendly and efficient. Can be a bit noisy so the hard of hearing should ask for a table at the front of the restaurant.
I was pleased that I was given the table I had specifically requested when I made the on-line booking. The service was friendly and very efficient and the food, as always, were excellent.
Good quality Bistro style food and efficient service. Set menus change regularly and are good value . Pleasant early evening ambiance. Becomes livelier later in the evening.
Great food, great service, great value. Really enjoyed our lunch today at Cote Sloane Square, very welcoming staff who were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
