Excellent service, divine food..........simply the best in st Albans

Thought quality of steak and chips was really poor. Flavourless Expensive for this type of mass produced food Would not return

Table was dirty, had to request it was cranked again Slow service & the Tuna Niciose was service on a very hot plate, consequently the lettuce was soggy & transparent, the replacement dish was thrown together with no potatoes or dressing, it was very poor. The waiter struggled understanding the dishes / order from the menu and had to copy it down from the menu. Staff seemed short and all harassed.

A good experience from when we arrived until we left. The service was good, the food was good and the wine went well with the food.

Probably won't rush back. Chipped glass and dirty cutlery. Ceiling covered in filler half finished. Small portion Just a bit disappointing. Better value elsewhere. Sorry bit of a shame

Staff were miserable not happy never smiled never held us in small conversations, l don’t think they thought we should be there it was a chore to serve us . Won’t be coming back until they are re trained in customer service , the meal was ok

Last night of our honeymoon and the waitress made the night really special. Lovely service, delicious food.

First time trying this restaurant. All looked nice on website. Came for Sunday brunch. I had full English, my wife had Eggs Royale - we both had poached eggs and all were cold. Other parts of the breakfast were ok but cold eggs just ruins everything. Best part of the whole meal was the coffee! On a side note, used the toilets... you need to find a toilet seat that fits the toilet and clean the floors. It's the whole experience that matters and this feels like you don't really care. Won't be back, lots of other places to try.

Verygood Slight problem with meal but the manager sorted straight away and accommodated for the meal for our next visited very impressed. Will be coming again

An excellent Menu and the monthly specials ensure a variety of choices. The early dining deal available up to 7pm daily is great value for money. This is one place where I could happily eat everything on the menu, albeit not in one sitting!

Always enjoy my dinners at Côte Brasserie... this was the 2nd time to visit the St Albans branch.. food always great only downside was we had quite a wait till order was taken ... staff were scarce to the point one from my party went to the bar herself to order her drink .. to avoid further waiting ... being mindful it was a Sunday evening so it was very quiet. everything else was good.

Wonderful early summers evening spent on the terrace. Staff were friendly and accommodating as always - they remade my cocktail without egg white as I have an egg intolerance. A lovely cocktail, incredible food and all round great service and ambiance as always.

Nice food but service very slow and poor for Mother’s Day lunch . have been here a few times as the vegetarian menu is good .

We visited Cote on Mother’s Day and received prompt and courteous service as usual. Some of our party of six chose from the special menu Which included a delicious, complimentary glass of fizz. The menu offers a comprehensive choice and is always of a high standard. This restaurant is a family favourite,

Definitely a complete change from the previous time. Myself and my friend felt incredibly welcome, staff were attentive and the food was incredible (which it always has been). Would like to return in the future which I would do even just for the bread basket and butter.

We use Cote a lot particularly the Bishops Stortford restaurant, never had a bad meal the staff are pleasant, all in all a good experience, equally well St Albans was up to scratch

Excellent food and service and a great menu to choose from. Everything is reasonably priced and the early bird menu is great value for money. Will come again.

The food was great, as always. I’ve Never had a problem with the service. The staff are always very attentive. I will definitely be looking to return and happy to recommend to friends and family.

Been here so many times, but today they were over stressed. Father's Day so it was busy. one of the meals wasn't up to par but they changed it straight away. Service was amzing

The Cote Brasserie St Albans are consistently above average , they deliver French style bistro food efficiently .It's uncomplicated and pleasant , does what it says on the tin. Bon appetit.

Food and service is always consistently good at Côte. Staff are friendly. Great atmosphere. Took a friend there who’d never been before and she wasn’t disappointed. Always enjoy my time there.

Food always good well cooked fresh, well presented and very authentic. Service is excellent friendly and professional . We always enjoy our favourites French Onion soup , steak tartare, fish stew Chocolate fondant. All delicious and value for money.

I’m afraid by my experience wasn’t great, at all. The sirloin steak,which I order rare, arrived just after few minutes and it was raw and cold. My girlfriend order was also very badly microwaved. For the price of the food I would expected much more. Very disappointed. I’m sorry.

As ever, Côte proved a dependable place for a good-value, well-cooked lunch - generous portions on the set menu, too. Altogether an enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed our stay with a Great atmosphere ,friendly staff and tasty food. Good value for money. Highly recommended. Also good to go around and discover the town.

We came for a leaving due, i haven’t been for 5 years and the expectations were lovely calamari was still as good as last time. The steak was cooked perfectly. No complaints with my friends either so thank you!

We really enjoyed our meal. I had notified when booking of my dietary requirements and this was acknowledged without the need of a reminder. My gluten free food was delicious. I would definitely recommend. I had also noted it was my husbands birthday and they made his night special. Thank you.
