Great food and friendly staff but service was very poor. Half of our drinknorder was missed off originally and then we had to wait a long time for our lunch while other tables that had come in after us got served quickly. Would have been a 6 for food but very poor service!
Good food, good prices and lovely wines. Nice staff. Surranding in Christopher Place is a plus. Theirs lamb is lovely and the gratinered Chevré is perfect. The Cheeseplatter is a minus.. only dry chesse no jam or else..
Been here many times, the food is always delicious to the point I've tried lots of new things because I feel if I'm going to like it anywhere I'm going to like it here. The service is always friendly and not at all stiff. Food is really good value for what you get, if you are a dessert kinda person then you have to try their creme brûlée, it's the best I've ever had - and I've had quite a few.
Very helpful and accommodating staff (we had a few strollers that did not quite fit with our original booking so they quickly arranged a more spacious table) ! Food great as always. Had a lovely Sunday brunch with friends.
An excellent place for its service and delicious food. A must place to eat at such competitive price when compairing menus in the area. Very flexible considering that we have to change time twice.
Competitive pricing for 2 or 3 set menu choices, similar for a glass of the House wine - nice to have a Rose aperitif. Their soups are the best - asparagus today - it was thick, creamy, tasty, plenty of it and hot too! Omelette and Sea bream were the mains - tasty with crispy fries. Topped off with 2 Americanos - the best coffee tasted for months - from.Guatemala. Total £44 with 12.5%. Tip- get there asap after mid-day to hear yourself think, avoiding adjacent tables with only females!
A very popular restaurant in which we have never been disappointed over some years. There is a good choice of food from two menus depending upon the time of day and there is a good selection of wine.
Not bad though choices were a bit thin on the pre-theatre menu. The main menu is much better. I will go again as very convenient and good value for money.
Great food every time I go. It was very busy to sit outside because it was a nice day but the windows slide open so inside was just as nice!
There was real buzz about the restaurant. The service was good; the pre-theatre menu provided excellent choices and was great value; - what more could one ask?
Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, the food was scrumptious , especially dessert (creme caramel). We will definitely return for more! We strongly recommend this place!
Lovely table in sun, quick friendly staff the food was fab and the bubbles helped it to go down nicely will definitely be coming again soon.
Excellent food and service. The Waitress went the extra mile to make our visit so enjoyable. Lovely table where we could all sit comfortably and chat - which we did !
Arrived early so had a choice of where to sit - greeted with kir royals (or whatever they are called) for my Birthday - it was just great service and great food.
Very nice staff, but the service was very slow. We were waiting for a third guest, but had to hunt down a waiter to ask for some bread and water while we waited.
We booked a table for 12.30, for lunch. Received a friendly greeting. We had increased the number of guests from three to four and were offered a choice of tables. We asked for a booth and, I think, were able to sit at this table for six as the restaurant wasn't too busy. Had the same waitress as the first time we went there, which was part of the reason we enjoyed it so much. The food is delicious and served attractively. We usually have the set menu but there seems to be no reduction in portion size and the menu changes monthly. A real pleasure to visit this restaurant.
Always a busy and lively atmosphere in Cote, St Christopher's Place. Friendly and good humoured staff, great service. Food is always faultless. The prix fixe menu is excellent value. Love it. Love it. Love it at Cote.
Good and as always, reliable. The food was fine but not outstanding; however, we were not very adventurous in our choices. Staff were moderately attentive. Cote should be given credit for coping with large numbers without any delay.
poached egg served with the egg white uncooked and runny when I told waiter was told 'that's is how is it meant to be'. Replacement dish took 15 mins next egg white cooked but the yoke overcooked and hard. Not good. Bad meal experience at Islington few week ago. Several of my friends have stopped going to Cote. NEED TO GET YOUR GOOD SERVICE BACK ON LINE.
Very good value breakfast on a special deal. Open windows brought in fresh air and provided sense of outdoor cafe. Service was friendly and responsive.

We enjoyed our meals very much and would certainly return when we are in the area again. We have visited a few of your restaurants in the passed and always look out for them as we travel around.
Thank you very much! Was very nice!Good food, nice atmosfere, quick servisman!I will be back again with my friends or family. Restaurant is in great location! Special thank you to manager(lady)ho aleays smile!
Good food and service as we have come to expect. Set menu nicely balanced but Steak frites always a favourite well done. We will be back soon
Very good reasonably priced French bistro. Service was pleasant and efficient and the food was tasty and good quality. We had the duck breast and veal scallop.
Always great value and reliably good food...Service was slow so although we arrived in time for the special price menus (6.45) by the time they came to serve us, it had past 7pm and they would not let us have the fixed price menu...we will definitely get their attention next time!
The service was fine and so was the food. Having a limited menu makes consistency easier. Actually if you only did Steak Frites I would still come. A little salad with the SF would make it look more attractive
lovely spot! good food, value for money & good service! was just a little disappointed that i was charged 4 a birthday dessert i hadnt ordered!
Very good - slightly slower service than other Cotes I have been to but otherwise fine. Price has definitely gone up but I have no complaints. It is what it is and very successful. Well done them
I have been to the restaurant many times but today it was very disappointing. I did tell the manager. You need more staff there. Jane
Excellent experience friendly staff Good food and prompt service Would definitely recommend it to my friends Lovely atmosphere watching the boats Good variety on the menu
Great food & atmosphere & as ever, brilliant service. This is my go to place for lunch with friends. I recommend Cote Brasserie to business contacts & friends all the time.
Service excellent as always. Very friendly and attentive. Great food, great wine. I have been to cote restaurants quite a few times and I can't fault them.
I met 2 friends for a meal. We had good service and a lovely meal, all at a very reasonable price for central London. Champagne not bad either!
Recreates pretty well atmosphere and menu of a French brasserie in a nice and popular area. Only issues for the "steak tartare": should offer a "main" version in addition to the starter one, and offer customers the option to choose and mix ingredient themselves (as traditional in France).
Booked at 12:30 on a Tuesday. Service was slow, but food, once received, was good. Atmosphere is always good. Guess they hit a busy period. Would still go again.
Had the lunch menu and all courses were delicious and good value for money. We had a bottle of wine which was lovely and a good cup of coffee. The service was efficient and friendly. Cote is always a safe option when deciding on a restaurant to visit.
YCote is our go to restaurant for a meal with friends when in London. Good choice of food and wine, great value, the vegetarian choices are limited but good and adequate. It's a consistent and reliable.
Love this place. Set in a beautiful part of London. Great service. Amazing food. .always.. and atmosphere is fantastic. Always have an amazing time here!
Excellent evening with fantastic service and great food. My only problem was that the table was unstable. Location is perfect and especially sitting outside as it abtraffic free zone
Very friendly service and good food as usual. Cote is one of my favourite chain in London, nice food and good service. I have been there for my birthday and had good time.
We have visited this Cote many times and have never been allowed to pre book a particular table. When we arrived there was a table for 4 free by the window which we requested, only to be told it had been pre booked. Double standards I feel - who you know etc etc - disappointed by that, but the waitress was wonderful, and the food was as good as ever. Either let everyone pre book a particular table - or no one. Please be consistent.
Really fantastic food and a great buzz. Tuna nicoise with proper tuna cooked to perfection and a good price. We weren't rushed which can be an issue in some branches of Cote.
Always a good experience at my local Cote. Staff very helpful and quick service. Usually go for the set menu but went a la carte for a change - had great food.
Excellent...great service and great food. I also regularly vistaprint St Albans and Windsor...equally as good. Menu varied and plentiful and a reasonable wine list too ...Definitely rate them.
I love this place. The location is great, the food excellent and served in good portions and the service is very good too. Always a pleasure to eat there.
Went for a business lunch with important clients and the food, wine and ambiance did not disappoint ! We all loved the vibrant atmosphere, good/prompt service and can recommend the calamari and the haddock !
Service was excellent and the food was also very good and prices reasonable. I would definitely go back there again. The waitress we had was also very good.
Good service and food and a lively atmosphere. Staff was friendly and efficient. Good variety of choice on menu. Would go again. St Christopher's Place is a great area.
My friends and I very much enjoyed my birthday dinner celebration at Côte at St Christopher's Place. The atmosphere was very relaxed and an ideal setting for a birthday dinner. The food was very good as well. The service overall was good and everyone at Côte was helpful. My only small comment would be that some of the staff could have been more friendly and less direct. Only a small observation, but overall we all enjoyed the evening very much.
The food was well up to usual good standard. The service was excellent, in fact the were getting a bit close to satisfying our needs before we asked !. Prices, again, as usual, very good
