The Staff are lovely however the service was a little confused. The set menu was varied and very good value. It's a busy location but not too noisy.

great service, lovely staff! Had a table outside ready for me on this gorgeous day. Food came right on time, great for a lunch hour when needing to get back to work!

Very lovely restaurant, we were fortunate to have good weather so sat outside. Food was really nice from the three course set menu and the staff were friendly and polite. Would recommend and go again myself.

As always a great meal and service at a very good price. Cote never disappoints! We've always found the staff to be very pleasant and happy to help.

Relaxed atmosphere, great location and service, fab food! We chose from the lunch menu and there was lots of variety - a perfect Saturday lunchtime venue to meet friends. Really recommend.

Went at lunchtime for a business meal. Restaurant was full / buzzy, friendly service, tasty food. Less than GBP 20 per head (2 courses plus drinks) which was great value. Would recommend.

As always, the food was excellent - we took a friend (visiting from Tennessee) and he enjoyed it very much! It was, however, a bit noisy - but that's to be expected when the room is full. Luckily, we had a wall table at the back so it wasn't too bad.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent location and ambience. Love Côte for great value food, you really can't go wrong, but this has to be one of the best. Will definitely go back and 100% recommend.

The food was excellent. The portions the right size. We had a very hard working and enthusiastic waitress who made good suggestions and looked after our every need. She even found my credit card when, unknown to me, I had dropped it on the floor. I noticed that as soon as the next table was vacated, it was cleaned and prepared immediately for the next people. I can't think of any negatives or faults. One is always greeted and said goodbye to at the end. The price was good value for the food and service we had. I'll be back!!

The food was very tasty and fresh. The wines were nice and well priced. Staff is extremely friendly and take care care to the service. Loved it.

The staff are always warm and welcoming! A fresh and vibrant atmosphere. A varied menu with seasonal dishes. Well presented and very delicious! Two and three course menu is well worth it.

The staff were extremely friendly and our order was taken swiftly. We waited slightly longer than ideal for our desserts but other than that it was a lovely experience.

Great restaurant and extremely friendly and efficient staff, the food is always great and the management are awsome also, it's become a regular for me.

Nice place, fantastic food and a ver good overall experiente. I strongly recommend that region and in special this restaurant. The only thing I suggest is regarding the size of tables, that should be a little bit bigger.

Courteous service, good quality food at reasonable cost and not long to wait. Just what we needed for a light pre-concert meal. A little bit noisy for our taste. We would go again.

The fries were tasteless, except this I would rate the quality of the experience and food as 6. A bit noisy on friday evening but room for all customers who came by.

The waiter did not handle the situation well. We booked specifically for the meal deal (which we later found out needed to taken up pre 7pm). Whilst they eventually allowed us to take up the offer after 7pm because weren't served for 40minutes, they didn't inform us about the timing cut off upon arrival. The head waiter told my friend to ssh. It was resolved to our satisfaction but handled really badly.

My friend and I went to Cote St Christopher's Place for a meal before a concert at the Wigmore Hall. We were greeted in a friendly manner, no fuss when we wanted to choose a particular table. The pre-theatre menu was incredibly cheap for the quality of the food - plenty of choice of both mains and puddings. Service was excellent. The only criticism we had was of the muzak - so unnecessary and rather loud. Otherwise - a great experience. This will definitely be our regular eating place on future visits to the Wigmore Hall.

Excellent meal, service and ambiance. The choice is wide and predominantly of French cuisine. The lamb chops we ordered were superbly prepared and presented. The white wine we ordered was a little tepid depiste being in an ice-bucket. Superb waiters/waitresses.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch although Salmon tartine was a bit weird, it was not a tart but sour read or toast! Enjoyed our lunch overall though.staff were efficient and nice atmosphere

The waiter who served us was a bit grumpy.. Even the welcome. Into the restaurant was with no smiling.. The food is always good but this time we were waiting 45 mins for the mains.

Bustlingly busy tiny table good food Cote is consistent wherever we go. We liked the one in York so much that we went there three nights running

We had a lovely meal, great ambiance the service was good. The manager was very helpful as I was trying to download my voucher, which we managed in the end. All in all it was a lovely meal and will definitely be back very soon ;)

The food and service were very good especially the vanilla ice cream. Great value fir 3 courses and water replenished regularly. I would go there again.

Always enjoy my dinning experience at Cote St Christopher's Place. The options on the set menu is value for money and has a good selection for all. The staff are always friendly and pleasant.

Warm and friendly staff especially the manageress.As always the foods was excellent and the service efficient and friendly.Friends we were with were impressed and will visit again.

Unfortunately the haddock was over cooked. My daughter had the linguine most of the mussels were closed. 4 were edible. The starter we both enjoyed & the white wine lovely. Service was good considering the amount of people there.

It's always a great friendly atmosphere in here with excellent food & always a monthly refreshed menu as well as permenant classics! Food was perfect as always & the staff helpful as ever!

As always the staff were welcoming and the food was great. We took a while as we were chatting but there was no stress from the staff to rush us.

Very friendly staff, but they did get 1 meal wrong and bought it out with the starters but staff did take the meal from the bill. Food was fantastic

There was a misunderstanding about our booking- the manager was very courteous and helpful but we decided to go to the Chlotte Street branch instead.

friendly staff but very disappointing main course. don't go for the GF slow cooked pork. it was very dry and stringy. given I had hardly eaten any the waiter did ask if everything was ok with the meals and I did say that it was very dry (he could have seen for himself) but he made no other comment or apology and didn't offer to put it right. My friend said her fishcakes were overcooked and very dry too.

I have dined at Cote St Christopher's Place numerous times. The food is consistently good. Service is quick and efficient. My favorite dish is the Fish Parmentier...cod, haddock, prawn and salmon in a creamy white wine and leek sauce, topped with mash potato and Gruyère cheese...delicious!

As usual staff, food and ambiance were superb. I/we always enjoy visiting and will continue to do so. As the review insists on 25 words this is just to say gad fun and enjoyed ourselves as we usually do!

We use this restaurant a lot and every time is perfect fantastic food and excellent very friendly service. I would highly recommend this Cote Restaurant.

The set menus were excellent and great value. Service was excellent too. The one drawback was the noise. It was difficult to hear yourself talk, let alone your friends.

Reservation made on line for late afternoon. Arrived early but accommodated. Service with a smile as they say and food choice was served very promptly. Am very familiar with cote style and will definitely visit this venue again.
