Excellent service from very pleasant staff. A decent selection on the menu with interesting specials as well as the old favourites. Also very reasonably priced.

The food was good but the service was a bit hit and miss, wrong drinks then the wrong food order and then the bill twice. I think too many waiters serving our table as the same time!

Very quick and efficient service, food was great, and the staff were very attentive. Would definitely visit the restaurant again, Steak Frites are a winner!

Service was a bit slow. Also, I ordered sirloin steak medium rare was tough as old boots and over cooked, which it shouldn’t have been for a cut of that choice. The service also wasn’t that attentive, hence the low rating.......

It's always a pleasure to dine out at Cote St. Paul's. My partner and I (not large meal eaters!), shared a tasty starter of chillied prawns in a rich sauce which, as the helpful assistant assured us, was not Over Hot. Our main course of Fish Stew was equally satisfying, with a fine range of mussels, calamari and prawns in a delicious sauce that we eagerly devoured with the accompanying bread! Served with a welcoming bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, our meal was most appetising and our evening complete.

The restaurant staff were very helpful and served us all perfectly . The food was delicious . We all enjoyed every part of the meal .

A group a 6 people, we took advantage of the fixed lunch menu and were delighted with the choices and quality of food (including sea-bass, rabbit and sea-food linguine ... all excellent and tasty). We have enjoyed Cote restaurants in Bristol, and were pleased that the same high standards could be relied on in a more "touristy" area of London.

Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Set menu is extremely good value - won’t set the world on fire, but pleasant, competently cooked food in nice surroundings. Help with the wine list was knowledgeable and we were offered a taster if one of the wives we were considering, which helped us make a good choice.

Friendly staff, good food, and it wasn't too crowded and noisy. Cote is usually a good all round reliable lunch choice and this didn't disappoint.

I've now been to Cote St Pauls on quite a few occasions. Their set meals offer excellent value for money and the foods is great. They also have a pretty impressive selection of wines and the staff last night were extremely personable and attentive. We shall be back :-)

I thought that the staff were very welcoming. The food was simple but very good. All round I thought that it was good value and will visit again.

The food was very nice, as usual, and the food and drinks service was good. However, after our plates had been cleared away and we said we didn't want dessert, we were completely ignored and had to wait a long time before we could attract any server's attention to get our bill. After we finally got our bill, we had another long wait before anyone could be bothered to come and take our payment. That unnecessary waiting put a damper on the whole evening and meant we missed our intended train home, making the evening even longer than we wanted considering we had work the next day. Also, while we were waiting for our bill, we noticed a strong smell of cigar smoke. I though smoking had been banned in restaurants in England.

Excellent place to meet friends for lunch. Outstanding service and delicious steak frites from plats rapide menu followed by wicked chocolate pud. all accompanied by house wine, also very good.

Delicious and great value meal of steak rapide and chips. Two very attentive waiters. I think one of them had just started that day. Felt very well looked after.

Great food, great price - a little slice of Paris chic, right next to St Paul's. What more could you want from a restaurant - Perfect!

I was there for lunch with 3 friends and we found the service was excellent. I had sea bream from the specials menu and it was perfect! We shared fries, tomato salad and peas and there was plenty to go round. An excellent lunch in very pleasant surroundings!

Great staff - great food. Love the fact that the specials and the pre-theatre menus change frequently. Delicious rabbit cottage pie served with a bowl of ... carrots! Seriously tasty. Thank you Côte.

The meal was fine: just slightly disappointed that the deal for fixed price didn't start until 3pm. However happy with the deal we had thanks

Excellent! Quality food, great service, fine wines. We will definitely go there again. Recommended to anyone visiting this part of London. Do not miss it!

Excellent food and service. A very popular venue so there was a very excitable atmosphere with almost all tables occupied. Probably good to book in advance.

Staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. My co-diner had the gluten free option. We both had French onion soup which was delicious. I had the charcut board as a main and my co-diner had the spinach and mashroom crepe. Will definitely be revisting this restaurant.

Excellent service from friendly and caring staff. French Onion Soup was very tasty, and the liver parfait was a meal in itself. For the main course, the pick of the bunch was the lamb special. Sea bass overcooked, however, which was a shame and the only blot on an excellent family lunch experience.

Cold and draughty due to lack of any screen at the front door. Try it in the summer. The special offer was charged on the menu and had to be removed. Fine if you spot it in time. Nice food.

Excellent and friendly service, lovely food and a good atmosphere, many thanks for making it a fitting celebratory lunch for our newly graduated son. I’ve been a customer of other Cote restaurants and have never been disappointed.

The bottle of white wine we ordered on arrival had not been chilled. It was placed in an ice bucket at the table and in the meantime we’re inable to offer a chilled alternative. After 30 mins, a chilled bottle of our original selection did arrive, but we were gasping by then!

Cosy environment with candles. Yummie salad, great steak melting in your mouth. Excellent attentive service. I am a regular customer of Cote and it is exceptional. Outstanding manager.

Food was a bit slow to come (45 mins), and there was a slight mix up on the order, but it was enjoyable when it arrived.

Lovely atmosphere, great value food, excellent service. Menu was varied and there was plenty of choice for me as a vegetarian - would especially recommend the vegetarian cooked breakfast.

My review is - great service, great food. Our go to restaurant wherever we are. A buzzy atmosphere upstairs or a more relaxed one downstairs.

Food was delicious but even more importantly the welcome was warm and the service perfect. Our waitress was able to give advice about which wine would go with our food and generally helped to make our evening the best restaurant experience in a long time.

Great, fast service and good value for money. Food was fresh and rich in flavour. Conveniently situated near my office. Not too busy - only thing I would say is that the toilets are a bit of an inconvenient mission to get to!

Went for Christmas Day lunch. Staff so friendly and efficient. Didn't feel rushed or overcrowded, no such thing as needing the table back for the next sitting, very refreshing. Food excellent as always. A choice of Christmas lunch menu or A la Carte menu. All round a fabulous Christmas Day!

Great food service and ambiance. Highly recommend. Had the flatbread with onions and cheese; French onion soup - duck and praline crepe with banana- delicious!!!

Very good food at great prices. Very nice staff also. I would say they would have to fix the door though as it kept being open a little bit, causing a constant draft.

Great Christmas menu, the service was quick and the servers very attentive and warm. The place is very calm, ideal to spend a comfortable evening. We also took some white wine which tasted amazing.

It was lovely and fantastic lunch. Good service, food, music, everything was perfect. Specially green salad and grilled salmon were awesome. Tasty tasty tasty !
