Côte Teddington

We got our starter straightaway but had to wait 40 minutes for the main course which is far too long. In the end I had to tell a passing waiter as ours had vanished and they very kindly credited me back my main as they admitted to burning my steak and had to do another one hence the wait. Unfortunately it was clear to my friend that her risotto had been totally overcooked while all this was going on in the kitchen and was all stuck together but we weren't going to complain about that until now. I understand times are tough and we are there to support restaurants and I spend a lot of time at Cotes, but that meal didn't go well, however we'll be back in the Richmond Cote on Wednesday hoping for better luck. Very pleasant the staff friendly , good service and food

Unfortunately we had to leave as we were expecting to order breakfast as per your menu on line but on arrival we were told they were not doing breakfast So we found an independent cafe and had a very enjoyable breakfast

lovely lunch staff excellent definitely we will be back.

Although the chicken arrived under cooked it was immediately replaced and I was not charged for it

So happy to be back. No loss of atmosphere with more distancing. Food and service as great as usual, perfect back ground music. Staff all efficient and friendly. A delightful evening.

As regular diners, we are so glad Cote Teddington is open again! And good to see the same team back in action with a couple of new faces. Our meals were excellent.

It's nice to return to the restaurant after lock down, having enjoyed the delivery service. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the making sure dishes are really delicious and distinctive. Social distancing and PPE were well executed.

The usual great food and service from Cote as they reopened the Teddington restaurant last night. Lots of staff working hard with visors on providing great service and food. What a shame that it took so long to reopen.

Had meal in Cote Peterborough on Tuesday, it was so good we took daughter and granddaughter to Cote Teddington the next day. We all enjoyed the food service and ambience.

Excellent service and menu. Friendly welcome back as it was first night of opening again. As always very consistent value for money offering and good to see it was busy.

Excellent meal. Only the pastry on the apple tart could have been puffier or crisper. Good server, who was on top of things before we had to ask.

The restaurant is good as always. Booking through through Quandoo is what I do like.

We were a table of 4 for my birthday, one of the party being my 3 year old daughter. The starters were nice, although it took half an hour for the starters to arrive, the table next to us were served first, although had arrived roughly 15 minutes after us, that wait for food with a 3 year old was too long, and I found it a bit odd sausages and mash came without any sauce or gravy- it looked a very dry affair. Our waitress kindly got us a small amount of gravy which was great. My mother and sister had cod gougons, they both ate about half ,both agreed they were dry and flavourless, I declined to try them. I had spinach and mushroom pancakes,which were so over cooked they were disintegrating in the watery cheese sauce, it looked horrible - a brown sludge,swimming in cheese sauce, I have had these before so I was expecting a much more edifying dish. Again I could only eat half of it. We didn’t have pudding. On the plus side the staff were lovely, and we didn’t complain at the time as the staff had been so good, I didn’t want to direct my disappointment at them. I have eaten quite a lot in Côte in Richmond,Teddington and St.Albans,and at peak times that have been much busier than the restaurant was today and have not had such a disappointing experience.

Very disappointed with limited Valentines Menu. We were not allowed to order from the usual menu, sadly. I booked online and I would expect this information being displayed on the website including the 'Valentines Menu.' We stayed because my partner was after a long work trip and we both haven't eaten since lunch, otherwise, we would walk out. But as a result, we paid around £30 more than we would normally do. Will think twice next time before vising on Valentines day.

We had a lovely meal, the food quality was excellent and the service was great, the restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere which meant we had a very enjoyable evening.

Excellent menu to choose from and food really well prepared. Good choice of wines. Altogether a lunch to be remembered and we were given a warm welcome.

Good menu choice on a gluten free diet , great service but you must have changed the mussel supplier , they were awful needless to say full of grit , shame , also your effort to keep profit margins up starts to creep up .

We are regulars and this was an above average visit as it was not too busy [when it can get noisy], and the staff were so very nice to us. Food was the beginning of the April Set Menu and we enjoyed the Whitebait and the fish and our usual bottle of Rose.

Generally the food was good and it was busy as it was Mother’s Day, one of the breakfasts arrived with only one tiny piece of toast so we asked if it was possible to have another slice, when we left we noticed we had been charged for this along with coffees/drinks that were actually included in the menu we chose. A lesson to us to check our bill more carefully.

We came to Cote teddington for an early mother’s day brekkie , and have to say the service wasn’t great :( food was nice . However they got mixed up on a food order ( my niece is allergic to eggs) but they still brought her food out with eggs and when we explained we specifically said no eggs, the waitress well will you just have it anyway now it’s here? Unbelievable ! We asked for extra bacon instead of eggs and there was even massive confusion over this . Just not a great way to be treated and didn’t get an apology

The service was excellent and likewise the food. On an otherwise horrible day weather wise the pleasant attentive staff made all the difference for a very special day.
