Would have given 6, but having requested no cheese due to allergy, cheese sauce was still added to the dish. However, dish replaced and not charged on bill.
Welcome was good and we were quickly seated. We decided on mains and dessert. Quality and taste of the food was good and the courses were well presented. Service was a little perfunctory / lacking in any charm, albeit they were busy. Ambience of the restaurant is nice.
Our breakfasts were very tasty but could have been warmer. Our juice and hot drinks were very nice. Service was fine. One odd issue. We used the pot of jam on the table with our toast and were politely told when paying the bill that it was table decoration only!
Greeted on arrival, table ready. Good choices on the menu , plus daily specials. The food was good, exceptional value for money. We will be back soon

We had a lovely Sunday late lunch and even finished our bottle of wine outside in the beautiful early evening sunshine. Service was great as usual.
I have been a fan of Cote ,especially Esher , since it opened . However , recent visits to the Weybridge branch as with all growing chains have been disappointing. Food suddenly looks and tastes like that on a long haul flight, pre measured and ordinary ! Weybridge too has an acute acoustic problem and needs soft furnishings to dub the school play ground noise! I'll give it one more go as I can walk!
good quality food that was well cooked and presented, good service and timings between courses was about right. location is good, near other restaurants. parking not far away.
Relaxing and comfortable atmosphere during breakfast; however that was partly due to a quiet morning. Breakfast (the formulee set deal £10 for any breakfast, juice and any coffee drink) was faultless - great customer service. Been to 3 Cote's, Weybridge, Woking & Guildford, all have consistently provided a great service - this particular one at weybridge was the best. experience.
Food was ok. Service staff forgot various ordered items, you may well ask why? Waitress was rather sharp ans snappy and not welcoming at all, could do better!
This is my 4th visit to cote Weybridge since it opened The food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. Good value for money
We had two courses of the set menu - starter and main. The food was well cooked. We also had a glass of the house white and red wine which was excellent. The service was very good as was the atmosphere. As in many restaurants with hard floors and ceilings, noise could be a problem when the restaurant is very busy. Cote will contribute well to eating out in Weybridge.
Great food and location . The service was a little slow to begin with but think this was due to a change of shift . Reasonably priced
staff has got its act together a professional team will continue with our support do we have to allow babies at dinner we hope not
A very enjoyable lunch @ Cote Weybridge last Friday. Good service , excellent wine & very good food as usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
Consistent good food and wine.. And a nice minimalist atmosphere. Enjoy my time at Cote Weybridge! And also the free wine as part their reward.
Food is 6 (completely delicious) and staff get 6 for enthusiasm. Overall 5 because service was slow, a coffee order muddled and bill slightly wrong.
Great location, good atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Arrive before 7.00pm for an amazing 2/3 course menu. Fully recommend this restaurant.
Service slower than other Cote restaurants I've used - the delay seemed to be in the kitchen. Sadly some of the food was overcooked (steak). Otherwise the remainder of the food was up to Cote's usual standard and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who served us.
Lovely lunch with 3 friends yesterday, excellent service and a delicious lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed and will be back. Thanks to staff and Chef.
We are regular supporters at Cote mainly at your Esher restaurant. The food was first class as always but the noise level at Weybridge was very high again for our second visit.
Excellent interior with plenty of space. Waiting staff were totally impersonal, even unwelcoming. Service was Ok. Food choice was limited and not very French. Prices were high. Food was uninteresting. Breton Stew was cold. Bread and the wine were very good. As a local resident I was looking forward to the opening. Now, back to Cafe Rouge.
I love Côte, Weybridge! Just had another excellent meal there this evening. Friendly, efficient service, and a great ambience. Easy parking with car park just a couple of minutes walk away.
This is a second visit to this restaurant. Food is of good standard and waiting staff polite and attentive. The only snag is do not call the restaurant as they will never bother to answer. Instead use online or Quandoo to book your table.
Toast was cold, eggs were hard on the eggs benedict. Complained about the eggs which was rectified with a fresh complimentary order. Better than Kingston Cote.
Excellent atmosphere (loved the pleasant and cossetting decoration), attentive staff (nothing was too much trouble and they were always close enough to assist with any requests without being too close) and, of course, tasty food. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I shall be happy to repeat.
Very nice lunch and service good, although was served pork belly and had to wait for potatoes. Waiter quite curt about not having set menu as we had complimentary wine scheme that you offer. Otherwise satisfactory.
Food and wine were wonderful but the service was very very slow. The only item offered without promoting was the wine. Absolutely everything else came only upon request i.e. Menus at each course, giving our order ... at each course, water from those silly little bottle things etc etc. It was hard work.
The dining experience of a "chain" restaurant does not warrant the high prices that are charged. In particular the automatic adding of a 12% service charge does not encourage personalised service. The food was adequate but not exceptional, and had the price reflected this, we would have been more satisfied.
The service was really good with very attentive staff. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was a great atmosphere and the decor looked very Parisienne.
Food good. Complained about bad visit last week offered complimentary Prosecco. Then charged for it. Found Jamal overbearing. Asking us to do good trip advisor. He also dropped 2 trays of plates and glasses behind us. Got home to find glass in my bag. Would like response pkease
We love Cote and have been many times, but tonight was sadly a bit disappointing, mostly due to our rather arrogant waiter. My wife had the scallops starter from the specials menu, which was supposed to be served with a sauce containing lentils. The chef seemed to have substituted lentils with capers instead. A LOT of capers. Literally a bigger volume of capers than scallops. You don't need a Michelin star to realise that's a massive overpowering of a delicate seafood. The rest of the food was very good as usual, but the waiter forgot our wine, so it had no chance to breathe (we chose a fairly expensive bottle that warranted it) and forgot our side order of carrots. He was blatantly disinterested when we questioned the scallop caper combo, and equally disinterested when we took the rare decision to remove the service charge. Well go back, but will seek a different waiter next time and be wary of both lentils and capers...
We thoroughly enjoyed our Breton Fish Stew & appreciated a complimentary bottle of Bergerac. The food we had was excellent, but wine is expensive. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, so with low ceiling it was very noisy & difficult to follow a conversation. Our French waitress , from Lyons, was friendly & helpful.
We had excellent service and great food, they really look after you well here. The creme brûlée is the best I've had (and I've tried A LOT).
Polite, prompt and quick service. Good food but starter was luke warm. Nice restaurant in convenient location in Weybridge. I would visit this restaurant again.
Pleasant meal - first time with this new April menu. Eggs Florentine up to Cote usual high standard. Slightly disappointed that my main course was on the cool side. Having said that, I didn't advise the waiter. I am well aware that Cote will always offer to bring a replacement but when there are four of you, eating when the other three have finished never appeals to me. So, up to a point my win fault! Service and staff very pleasant, as always. And of course, very good value.
Service excellent but scallops cold, ratatouille very meagre and not really that dish, and desserts very, expensive for what they are. Weybridge residents have plenty of choice so the food and cooking needs to improve.
Eat from the main menu as it is very good not the cut price menu which is not. I had a great steak but also enjoyed the prawns as a starter and the champagne is very good value. Service v good at Weybridge
Good food and excellent waiter service from our waiter Jake, he was brilliant and he made my son's birthday a very special occasion, thank you
Food great, staff helpful ,and overall an enjoyable evening in a busy restaurant. A tad noisy in the middle section of the seating area due to the mirrored ceiling amplifying conversation.
The food was very good and the service was very friendly. Excellent gluten free menu which was vital for my wife. It was a little noisy, but a lively atmosphere!
Great food, great servers and a very clean and nice eating area. I try to go to eat here at least once a week though as the food and drinks are fantastic and most of the staff are exceptional and polite (except the manager).
Table got cancelled due to power cut. No ones fault and the staff did call me as soon as they found out so I could re book another restaurant. They also gave me a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience for next time I visited. Great service.
Great food and really lovely caring staff. One of us is a celiac and they made him feel that nothing was a problem. The gluten free menu was very good. I would highly recommend a visit.
Friendly staff and good food. A bit chaotic but that didn't spoil our breakfast. Cote's formula is dependable and can be relied on to give a good bistro experience.
We had a very enjoyable evening out with the family for my husbands birthday, both the service and the food were faultless. Will certainly be returning
TERRIBLE service and over priced by the quality of food - extremely disappointed with how we was treated/served and most definitely will not be coming back.
My husband and I visited Cote Brasserie for the first time last weekend. It was superb. Our meal was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent. Although it was very busy - worth booking - it didn't deter from a really great meal. We will certainly be back!
I took my Mum. The service was good and the food was very good to a point. The desert was meant to be a type of Crepe Suzette but it was cold and the setting alight didn't really work. Sent it back ......for another try but it didn't work again. Sat by door which was a little chilly as customers coming in and out ...I wouldn't sit there again. The attentiveness of the staff was good and very friendly. The rest of the food was very good.
Good location with lots of room, Stunning food with excellent friendly, attentive staff. The wine complimented our food perfectly, Defiantly returning to try out other delicious dishes on the menu.
So it felt like the A-team have left the building!! New Restaurant......I have been 5 times in the first 3-4 weeks...service etc was exceptional. Saturday night....for a wedding anniversary. The service was slow and poor. The food order was wrong and the plate clearing I had to ask the for. Not once did the waiter pour wine or water in contrast to the previous visit of being wine and water being poured over 5 time. Refill on water had to be requested. I ordered Desert wine with our desert... Desert came no wine.....Then wine arrived and it wasn't cold. A wine bucket was produced and I was told to wait 5-10 mins before drinking as it was from out the back and hadn't been chilled hence deserts and had been fully eaten before a sip could be consumed. I wasn't even asked if this was OK! Manager or Team lead new but didn't even approach us. Apart for that the food was good!
