Food was good (my Breton fish stew was particularly tasty) Service was excellent: all 3 of the people who served us were charming and helpful even though it seeemd to be a full house.

Not quite so good this time (and we LOVE coming to you, we come every month) no one's fault but it was really busy and we had to queue to get in and our table wasn't ready until about 10 minutes after the booked time and then it was really hard to get anyone's attention to get a drink etc. Once we did, it all came quickly and was lovely and the staff were all nice. It was as noisy as it ever was, sometimes we can't hear each other speak but I guess you can't do much about that!

Such accommodating service for a large group of mums with our babies - thanks so much. The food and service was also excellent.

What a wonderful venue to celebrate Mother’s Day with your family. From the welcome on arrival and service from staff and the quality of the breakfast was just amazing. The ambience of the restaurant looking over the River Thames made it a most enjoyable experience.

I am a regular diner at Cote Windsor for brunch, lunch and dinner. I enjoy the setting, the service, the food with a French flavour ( I have dual British and French nationalities).

Food, as always, very good. Service could have been better as there didn't seem to be enough staff. This might have been shift changeover. The wc's could definitely do with some repair work and update.

I just wanted to say a big big thank you to everyone who served us yesterday. we were a big group of 16 people and everything was done so quickly! we didn't have to wait for our starters at all- everything was on time- food was amazing and the waiter who was serving us wine was so lovely! Thank you so much, everyone absolutely loved the visit.

Very enjoyable visit for my mums birthday. The food was beautiful and well presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again, lovely view on the river.

Great service and breakfast however booked the lower Conservatory as it had easy access for two of our guests who were unable to use the stairs and the loo was on the same level. However upon trying to access the Conservatory using the wheelchair ramp we were unable to do so as the path was blocked by far too many bicycles locked and park on flat access ...so we ended up having to use the steps which defeated the purpose of our booking! All in all food was good.

Always friendly and efficient service. Excellent meal, super wine, and relaxed ambience. Great value. Best restaurant location in Windsor.

As a regular customer I was very disappointed with my food, the soup was bland and tasted burnt. Service was very slow and the waiting staff were confused with the orders. I hope my next experience will be better

The food was very good, well cooked and well presented although a little slow in arriving. The staff were excellent, friendly and obliging but obviously very busy giving the impression they were understaffed. Also, in spite of my early notice in reserving a table overlooking the river we were told such a table was not available. An apology was made and a complimentary drink provided. However, a table was offered with partial river views which we accepted.

We were thrilled with our lunch yesterday. We had French guests with us and were so pleased to be able to sit by the balcony with wonderful views of the river, bridge and castle. Our waiter spoke excellent French and English which delighted our guests and our sea bass and duck were superb. Many thanks Cote Brasserie, Windsor, especially when the restaurant was so busy.

Wide menu choice to satisfy everyone. Always good quality tasty food. Even better if you can get a table with a view of the Thames.

Not great today. It was very busy but we had a small table sitting in the door to the smokers outside. Our side order was forgotten and arrived half way through our mains. All in all disappointing and not up to usual standard.

Great venue and atmosphere. Took a little while to take drink order once arrived but the staff did apologise to the group. Food was faultless and the value for money was brilliant.

It’s a lovely setting and was annoyed at first that could not sit where we wanted. But the manager was very good and seated us downstairs with a river view excellent service, excellent food and wine could not of been better. Full marks all round.

A good table at a landmark branch.There were five in our party and we all enjoyed our afternoon. The overall value for money was good and standard of food was high (apart from a rather odd and rather cold side dish of peas).Service was discreet and efficient although as ever I prefer to offer my own reward at the end rather than the suggested service charge.

Pre ordered our breakfast which then came out wrong. Looked like the full english breakfast had been sitting under the heat lamps for ages, and some of us had things missing. Didnt say nothing at the time as we had to leave to catch our train.

We were at Cote Windsor for my husbands birthday and the service was exceptional, a great welcome and the most beautiful food. Nothing matches Cote Windsor for service, location and atmosphere and great food. We love it and can't recommend it highly enough.

Extremely busy night. In the main dining room one young man (server)held the place together, he managed to not look stressed and rushed. Even though my duck was too undercooked for me to eat, the manager very kindly exchanged it for another dish. All handled promptly and without fuss. All in all the service made up for any small problems. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for excellence service, and good food.

Friendly greeting on arrival, attentive service and great tasting food. A special birthday occasion enhanced with complimentary fizz- a lovely surprise. The situation of the restaurant is exemplary.

Nice and clean...beautiful view of the river Thames and the Windsor Castle. Very relaxing indeed. I am going to recommend this venue to my friends.

Group birthday celebration with coffee. This is a regular if infrequent occurrence and Cote staff are always very accommodating and friendly.

I always enjoy meals at the Cote; in Dorchester, Bournemouth and Windsor. My only criticism is that you don't change the menu often enough.I look forward to Easter when I presume there will be Lamb on the menu.

Breakfast on Father's Day! Service was really poor, staff were just not prepared for the number of bookings. Food was served Luke warm and had to ask repeatedly for toast that accompanied the breakfast. Bill, when presented, was incorrect and had to be challenged and corrected. We were so disappointed. I visit the restaurant often and this is the first time that I have deducted the service charge

Highly recommend this beautifully positioned restaurant on the Thames. We had the £11.50 two course meal before going to the Royal Theatre Windsor with ticket this included a Kir Royale. Amazing value all eight of our meals were excellent and the staff made us most welcome. What a gem !! wonderful location.brilliant staff

Another fabulous night at Côte windsor, great service, exceptional food and overall fantastic experience in great setting overlooking river Thames and windsor castle ! We were all super impressed with food and complimentary gin cocktails were a really lovely way to start the evening ! Thank you to the manager and team at Windsor for a memorable evening. I visited Cote Windsor to book this table as it was for a very special occasion. I spent quite some time with the staff who were really helpful and it was suggested and agreed that a table would be booked for our party in the conservatory. On arrival on Friday we were shown to a table down stairs in the main room. On querying this I was told it wasn't possible to have 'booked' a table in the conservatory and that that table had been given to someone with a greater need than ours. This was hugely disappointing and unexpected having taken so much trouble to visit and personally book well in advance.

As usual an excellent Sunday Lunch with very fine food and excellent service

We had an enjoyable meal last night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a little mix-up with our starters but this was quickly resolved. The food was delicious and we weren’t rushed at all. Would definitely go again.
