I had the worst experience l have ever had in a cote restaurant. I have been going to your Restaurants since they first opened. This one in Windsor with a wonderful setting in the evening should have been a wonderful evening with my husband. My steak had to be sent Back three times and was still badly cooked, resulting in my husband finishing his perfectly Cooked steak and me leaving with no food.
We enjoyed our meal very much and the service as always was excellent. The atmosphere and setting is unbeatable. Well done Cote and thank you for such an enjoyable dinner 💖😀💖
We were well looked after by all the staff and our meals were delicious.
Superb! Def return, great. Did and great value on the river
Everything great but service too slow today. Easter Monday perhaps a busy time but it was a quite a long time time to get served once the rush happened.
We enjoy our meals every time we dine at Cotes which we do on a regular basis. We like Windsor because of the pleasant atmosphere. John & Norma. Maidenhead.
The food, service and ambiance always amazing. Today was perfect with the lovely company of two dear friends. Thank you to our lovely waiters and the cooks who made our delicious meal. 💖👍👍👍👍👍💖
Fantastic place looking out over the Thames . Exceptional food and service and great atmosphere . Would highly recommend. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening
It was not a good experience, there were to Many people crowded in , we were offered one table with a massive metal pole between two of the chairs and the only other option was a round table which was to small for 5 people but I was told there was no other option . This made eating difficult and the table kept having to be cleared to make room . Toast was burnt and the breakfast was luke warm , fried eggs were broken and didn’t look fresh .Very noise from cups and glasses being put away , staff run off their feet - Overall disappointing. I didn’t complain as my children just said leave it . I have always enjoyed Cotes but will now consider not going back .
This was a celebration evening for a group of eight of us & it could not of been improved in any way. The ambience & service helped to make it very memorable evening.
Very good meal in a lovely location. Booked for a birthday and had informed restaurant but wasn't even mentioned so a little dissapointed. Very busy but staff seemed to cope very well.
A lovely relaxing lunch sat outside watching the river life!
Excellent service. As always. We will be back very soon. On arrival we were greeted by two hosts who were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The waiter was also excellent and helped us get food for my 2yr old rapidly.
Cote used to be enjoyable. Not anymore. This was - Disappointing. The only thing that redeemed itself was the birthday fondant they gave me. Issues we had today were - - forgot my husbands starter. His came long after I had finished. - forgot our side salad - kids “cod” was definitely not cod. It tasted awful. They did swap it - 2 started choices were not available but we were informed. However not informed that the burger from the specials wasn’t available until I ordered. - ordered the rhubarb Martinis to be told they have never received the syrup so not on. - absolutely no staff present for the first half hour after ordering - back up only came when I was found trying to find ketchup for my kids. (The food was dumped and not asked if they wanted sauces). - first 2 water bottles put on our table were not full so clearly they had been used.
Very enjoyable visit for my mums birthday. The food was beautiful and well presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again, lovely view on the river.
Great service fantastic choice of food, lovely setting right by the Thames food was delicious. Waiter always on hand great experience had by all at Cotes
This was the worst experience at your restaurants especially the Windsor one where we have eaten many times. We had booked a table for four for my forthcoming birthday celebration. We arrived a few minutes early at 1315 for our 1330 booking We were shown to our table and after 30 minutes we were giving your complimentary birthday cocktail . Then had to wait until 1410 before our order was taken. This was after I complained to the waiter, a tall male with a foreign accent and wore spectacles who responded we are busy you will have to wait. I had noticed that our prople who came in after us were bring served quickly. I spoke to the lady Manager who was harassed but she apologised and claimed she was short of staff . We eventually got our starter at 1420 closely followed by the main course which was cold , steak fries. We left the restaurant after a very disappointing birthday which totally ruined our day. The Manager lost total control of the busy situation and could not cope. The rest of your staff not a course on Customer service. We will never go back to Cote
Wonderful service, speedy food and the food was delicious as always.
Really enjoyed the food and service yet the edge is taken off the evening by things Cote can’t control.dress of many male customers is grossly untidy and unsightly.track suit bottoms and many shorts some of which looked like they had come straight out of a gym.mens hairy legs do nothing for me or our wives so can you get a stronger dress code please. Wine excellent too.
Food was nice but my wife’s belly pork was well over cooked and my daughters steak was underdone but ok
The food was Amazing and wonderful service. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and will be coming again! Thank you for a lovely time
Went for a bday meal on a Monday night. Food beautiful as always but this restaurant is exceptionally understaffed. Team apologetic and professional, but this isn’t the first time this has happened. Very slow service. Waited 20 mins for a drinks order.
Great location, lovely food, perfect service. I booked on line, requested a table with a river view and a glass of bubbles on the table for our arrival. All was executed perfectly. A river view table wasn’t available immediately but we were offered to option to wait 10 mins. We did and the perfect table, replete with bubbles was waiting for us. Brilliant job!
Really lovely meal here again on Sunday and so good we ended up back here again on the Monday. Stayed for a 2 night break over the recent Bank Holiday weekend and came here last year so booked again for the Sunday night in case it was busy. Really good food and service was very good. Staff attentive and friendly and food amazing. Thanks again for 2 lovely meals
We’ve been here twice now. The staff have on both occasions been very friendly and professional. Will definitely be booking again.
Very good food. Nice atmosphere - best if you can get a table that overlooks the river. Efficient service that was full of (Irish) charm. Thank you.
I was there with my wife for our anniversary and had previously rang to book a table with a river view. Initially we were shown to our table which was not a river view. However the staff were great and found us another table downstairs with a river view. The food service and staff was great. On asking for the bill we’d been given another tables bill which was a fair amount less than ours, the waitress went away and came back with the correct bill. She said due to our honesty she would waive the service charge, a nice gesture and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Lovely lunch with work colleagues, sitting in the conservatory, over looking the Thames. Food and service was great and good choice in lunch fixed menu, and great value.
It’s a lovely setting and was annoyed at first that could not sit where we wanted. But the manager was very good and seated us downstairs with a river view excellent service, excellent food and wine could not of been better. Full marks all round.
Very enjoyable Wedding Anniversary lunch. Food and service, excellent as usual in all your restaurants and of course the location in Windsor would be difficult to beat. Loved the complimentary Negroni aperitif. As I sat looking at the Union Flag fluttering in the breeze I wondered if you flew the French tricolour on Bastille Day? Then the flags for St David's Day 1st March, St Patrick 17th March, St George 23rd April, and St Andrew on 30th November. Would seem appropriate in a town like Windsor. Regards, David.
It was very nice to meet friends at Cote Windsor where we could have a nice open view around Windsor Castle. Good Quality of food which are well cooked and kindly served. My friends including myself had a lovely Sunday morning at Cote Windsor.
Great staff a bit noisy for the hard of hearing
Friendly greeting on arrival, attentive service and great tasting food. A special birthday occasion enhanced with complimentary fizz- a lovely surprise. The situation of the restaurant is exemplary.
Excellent food from a varied menu with dishes suitable for everyone. Booked a table online. Very welcoming upon arrival and good service throughout our meal. Set in a gorgeous location overlooking the River Thames
Excellent evening, couldn't have been better - food was superb, service was brilliant, the red house wine was exceptional and really good value for money. The atmosphere was just right . Will definitely come again.
It was really lovely food. Very welcoming staff. Was on my own but they made me feel like a princess. Thank you so much to all
I always enjoy meals at the Cote; in Dorchester, Bournemouth and Windsor. My only criticism is that you don't change the menu often enough.I look forward to Easter when I presume there will be Lamb on the menu.
Very friendly, polite maitre de that welcomed us & gave us a choice of suitable tables. Delicious food with very attentive staff. I didn’t give a full marks because we had to send the bill back to be amended as some drinks were added to our bill incorrectly. Good job we checked! Overall a wonderful lunch in a great setting!
Great meal and staff ,very welcoming and a view to die for.
Fab meal as always, friendly staff . The non serving staff had inappropriate clothing in my view. They should dress professional and not in short mini skirts and low tops. Change the dress code .
Lovely evening at Cote Windsor with great food and service
Another wonderful evening celebrating a friend's birthday. From arrival to departure the atmosphere and ambiance were delightful. Sitting outside by the Thames Riverside with wonderful views of Windsor Castle in the distance was an extra treat. The reception and service were delivered with such warmth from Adel and Thomas who looked after us all evening. The food the wine and the complimentary cocktails were delightful. Wonderful evening! Thanks to the staff!
Great food - we really like the Tuna Nicouse. Great waiter and also a super ambience. When it is could outside you should start a heater as the insulation is badaround the Doors to the terrasses.
We were very happy to get a table facing the river and castle. Our server was very accommodating.
Great service from the moment we walked through the door. food was amazing service was amazing, its one of our special places we go for a nice relaxing night out. x
Good food, very pleasant ambience but service a little slow. Good value.
Clean and tidy restaurant with views overlooking the River Thames and Windsor Castle. Excellent food and a gluten free menu that gives Coeliac diners the rare option of 'plenty of choice'.
Food very tasty and service brilliant. Third visit here and will definitely be back. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Comfortable seating and lovely views of Windsor Castle.
Good atmosphere for my mums 80th family birthday meal lovely location great food
We enjoyed a lovely but necessarily swift visit to Cote last Sunday evening. The food was delicious, and once we had advised our waiting staff that we were time limited, service was timely and pleasant. Many thanks.
