Splendid location, splendid staff, splendid food - what more could one ask - This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurant experiences one could possibly wish for and at a most competitive price - well done

Had a beautiful meal and cote restaurant windsor last night. Steak was the best I've had in a long time. Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. ❤

Great restaurant with lovely views over the Thames and Windsor Castle. The staff were very friendly and the choice on the set menu was good. The food was excellent and great value for money. I would highly recommend Cote, consistently good!

Moules lovely, pissaladiere unexciting, ditto peach desset. Service very friendly but slow. I do not like 12.5% svs charge added automatically, 10% I would accept...

Had a lovely table next to the river . We are celebrating our 42 nd wedding anniversary.we had the set menu which was very tasty and plenty of choice .The waiter was very attentive.All round a good day .Off know to celebrate my grandson 'a 9th birthday.

Lovely meal with friends! Starter hiccup, but sorted quickly. However, restaurant staff short on the ground. The few who were there worked very hard. More air conditioning or fans needed, too! And overall restaurant area not as clean as it could be. Still - good value and will be back!

The service was slow. The beer and wine were at room temperature until we asked for them to be replaced. The food though was very good.

Food was great, service was a little spotty. The hostess was on the phone while we waited for about five minutes and seemed bothered by our request to be seated before she got on another call. Food service was a little slow as well, but the food was good and the location is brilliant so I will definitely be back.

On a lovely sunny day, all windows and blinds opened up to beautiful views over the river and Windsor Castle. Food delicious and 3 course lunch menu excellent value. Will definitely come again - thank you!

Excellent meal with a only couple problems background noise and one main course was forgotten, but made up for by not charging for the forgotten meal.

We had an exceptional experience. The table was good, the food was good, the drinks were good and the staff were good. This was a special occasion as it was for my birthday, fathers day, and for the return of my daughter from seven weeks in Ethiopia where she was doing research for her masters degree. We were treated very well and will be returning soon for another exceptional experience!

Very good experience, the staff were polite and very helpful, especially as my daughter was late arriving. They accommodated the delay brilliantly. Table had a good view of the river and food very good also. The kir royals set the evening off nicely with our friends from the US.

Cotes is in a Lovely location on the river in Windsor. The food is great and plentiful, and the staff are very nice and friendly. Especially enjoyable On a summers evening with good friends

Was sat by the Terrance but must of been by a air con extractor unit or something because there was constant hot air blowing into the restaurant at intervals. Far too hot and uncomfortable. Service was slower than expected albeit it friendly. Food was ok but rather bland. Not overly impressed at all.

Very accommodating as we were an hour early but no problem to give us a table. My guest ordered from all the menus avail and it was no problem to mix and match

Rating was due to long delay on arrival (longer than usual) as nobody at reception for at least 5 mins. This was pointed out - apologies given & accepted.

This is the first time I have marked down this restaurant where I have eaten many times and it was nothing to do with the food. It was exceptionally busy and we were 10 minutes early for our 13:30 reservation. We were told there would be no window table available as requested. They do not have a bar and there was nowhere to sit with a drink while we waited. We went to a nearby pub. We returned just after 2pm. By then they were able to give us a nice window table. Our meal was of the usual high quality.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the side of the river watching the boats go by! Huge selection of food available + full breakfast menu too. A great hit with all my friends from Yorkshire! Thank you everyone at Cote - I scored lots of brownie points for that!

Attentive, kind and understanding staff - Ana (witty) and the gentleman upstairs! We had a lovely round table in the window and the pre-theatre menu was very good value. Book!

We had a fantastic meal. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We were given a really good table by the river. The staff were also accommodating with us raising the numbers from 5 to 10.

Glad we booked very busy restaurant, seated by a balconey with doors open beautiful view. Staff efficient and helpful only complaint was food was lovely but could have done with a little longer between courses to enjoy the view and let the first course go down, certainly didn't spoil the evening though

Food was very nice and the location is perfect. Let down a bit by the staff who took plates away before food had even been finished and rushed the entire meal. Witnessed a woman pick up something off her plate and was in the middle of eating it while someone took her plate away. Overall would go back but not during a busy time as you get rushed

Food was delicious As always ! Service excellent! However No complimentary Kir royale was offered and no mention of my special instructions!!! It was My Wifes 60 Birthday and also my Birthday celebration!!!!!!! So a little disappointed !!

It was excellent service and a lovely meal. The restaurant helped my son celebrate his birthday in great style. I highly recommend the restaurant for a special event.

This was an enchanting experience - on a warm sunny day overlooking the river, with a gentle breeze through the open windows. Food, drink and service all extremely good - we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

We booked a table for 6.45pm and the set menu for up to 7pm was on the table. The waiter took our order for drinks, brought them, went away again and didn't come back until after 7pm to say we couldn't order from the set menu. Very naughty! We complained and after a while were told we could order from the set menu. We really hope they don't do this as a norm.... going off and leaving people so that they can't order from a cheaper set menu.

Had a lovely lunch today food and staff excellent The only done side was having booked early I ask to be put by a window as it was a celebration birthday ( 91st ) lunch with his son and daughter-in law and we were put at the back of the restaurant Very hot

Waiter seemed completely disinterested in our table. Asked for air conditioning to be switched off, it was, but was switched on again during our meal. It was so cold we left.

Cote always a favourite on my visits to Windsor. Is there a better setting for a restaurant - beside the Thames, shadowed by Windsor Castle - and excellent food at very reasonable prices. The staff could not have been more welcoming.

Always an excellent dining experience at the Cote. Online booking system works well, professional service, interesting menu and superb location. What more could you ask for?
