Côte Wokingham

Great restaurant - friendly service, good offers, good food as always. The perfect place for a celebration or quiet meal. Looking forward to returning soon.

I have been a number of times but a first to this particular Côte for my 2 friends. Both thought it the best Côte they have been to. Ambience, food and service all excellent.

very nice environment, the staff are excellent. I am returning on Mothering Sunday with my family, I look forward to it andhope it is another nice experience.

The food was great along with the pot of tea that I had in the morning for my breakfast. It was a client meeting and we were impressed with the service too.

The restaurant was very busy on arrival at 1.30pm for Sunday lunch, but we had a good experience for a leisurely lunch. The food was good.

Bit of a wait before we were offered a drink and we had to ask. All went well from then on and the staff were very good.

We have used this restaurant many times. Early evening menu very good value. Service and food was excellent as always. I would definitly recommend this restaurant.

I had whitebait which was so full of bones I couldn't finish it. I have the same fish in other restaurants and never had this problem before. I told the waitress and she apologised. When the bill came I was charged the full amount for two courses having only had one plus service charge. I think they should have waived the bill under the circumstances. My friend's meal was fine.

The food was lovely but today the service was poor. That is the first time it has been poor in any of my visits there.

Food was great, definitely fully booked but polite and good service. I made a complaint which was dealt with and food removed off the bill. Steak was well cooked. Desert yummy!

Excellent service and breakfast was superb using fresh ingredients. Awesome poached eggs! Only criticism is the tatty and grubby toilets. Shame they are not better cared for.

Cote wokingham never had a bad meal here always good service, and good value for money, the only thing this restaurant needs is some parking.

We had a really lovely time the food service and atmosphere was excellent. Although it was busy everything still was produced to a high standard.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and the service throughout the meal was very efficient and prompt. The food was delightful and overall we had a very enjoyable evening.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the meal and can't wait to go again. We found the atmosphere very relaxed. I just wish that there was a Côte Brasserie near to where I live - Derbyshire.

Really good! I had frisée and lardons salad and it didn't disappoint. Husband said his fish soup was as good as in France! The pork and duck were also excellent. Thank you for the wine too!

tables dirty,also when the waitress semi cleaned the tables food that was left on the the table was brushed on to the floor and left,when the waitress cleaned a table next to us a piece of food hit my partners cardigan which was on the back of the chair.i don't like eating when the floor has food on it from previous meals.

The food was excellent but the waitress was a little abrupt when we asked to change the burnt bread. The rest of the evening was perfect

Great food and excellent service, however, the tables are a bit too close together for comfort and being initially invited to sit next to the fire extinguisher/fire exit wasn't clever since the restaurant had better tables at the time. Busy atmosphere and got very quite loud (it was a Saturday night); overall very good experience.

Busy Saturday lunchtime but good service and excellent dishes. Does get noisy when busy but all adds to the atmosphere. No acknowledgement of being a loyalty club member on arrival.

This was our first visit to the Wokingham restaurant and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The Cote brand is always excellent in both menu choice and ambiance and also reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Very good meal and service. Only complaint was fresh mint tea which they placed in a covered silver spoon in a glass and it just didnt work. Had to take all the mint out and put it in the glass. How much better to have the mint in a teapot with a separate cup.

Wonderful selection for the lunchtime menu. Well cooked and presented and staff very attentive. My fish was cooked beautifully and my friend said her chicken was lovely Good experience

Lovely food but the service was slow and unfriendly. It took ages for the waitress to come for our initial drinks order and even longer for our actual food order. She never once smiled. The whole dinner took 2 1/2 hours which is quite long. However I really enjoyed everything I ate.

Great location as not far from train station and town centre. Very welcoming and great service. Food was delicious but a bit pricey.

As always a lovely meal with excellent service. Did feel a little rushed this time though as we had all 3 courses in under 2 hours!! Would've been nice to have the option to have taken our time

Cote is one of our favourite restaurants for it's food which we think is hard to beat, the friendly and helpful efficient staff who are now well known to us, as we are frequent diners, visiting every week and sometimes more when we have visitors, who we introduce to a Cote experience. However the reason I have not given a 6 is because unfortunately you sometimes have some very inconsiderate parents dining, who feel that we all ought to put up with their screaming and shouting children, who sometimes run around the restaurant causing a hazard to staff & diners. Whilst I understand that you don't want to lose any business I think it should be acceptable for your staff to ask that they respect other diners. That doesn't happen and so they continue to spoil others Cote experience.

We really enjoyed our visit at Cote we went for my husbands birthday with our teenage grandchildren. Service was excellent as usually we also had a very good table position. Will be back :-)

Arrived on time and were shown to a lovely secluded booth. Staff were all pleasant and attentive, food excellent as usual and ambience bright and bustling.

We are regulars there because the food is consistently good and the service is efficient and friendly. The special menu is good value for money.

Lovely atmosphere, great staff and beautiful food. The swordfish was incredible as was the praline crepe for dessert. Each course felt like a treat. It was a much needed evening out for us as new parents!
