Very police and charming waiter. The music was just right, not overwhelming as in the majority of restaurants. The service could have been quicker. As we only had 1 12 hours parking time, we had to forgoe our dessert and coffee -pity about that.

Rather slow service. Food took quite a time to arrive. Wrong size of wine delivered to the table. Table left dirty in between courses. Had to remind waitress about next wine to go with next course. Not very professional. Wouldn’t happen at Zedels .

Great food. Enjoyed some new additions to the menu. There was a drop of in service towards the end but compensation was offered which was very acceptable.

Food absolutely great. Service not good. We were sat right out the back where no other guests were and clearly were forgotten about on multiple occasions. We were there for 25mins before our drinks order was taken had to flag someone down for the bill and then we had to flag someone down for the card machine. The manager did give us our bottle of wine on the house without us asking/complaining purely because she knew we had waited for so long, but even with this acknowledgement of a long wait, the service for the rest of the evening was poor. Such a shame becsuse the food is lovely and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great if you aren't shuved out the back.

Great service with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast for five was of great quality and good value for money. Only improvement I can think of is that my wife asked for brown toast and was served with white and asked for another coffee and only got it served at the end of the meal. This however did not spoil our enjoyable visit to your restaurant, keep it up.

Unfortunately the food service was very slow today. Even though I’d mentioned a few times that it was a birthday lunch for two twelve year olds it took a very long time for the dessert with the candles to arrive. Very disappointing.

Lovely food and wine served to us mainly by Juliette the manager. A very enjoyable meal as usual in Cote. We are rarely disappointed in our local Brasserie.

Great value breakfast. Requested a table for four and three high chairs. The table and high chairs were there on our arrival we were shown to it by the friendly manager.

Went for breakfast,had a comedian for a waiter,didn’t bother writing our order down,ordered toast which didn’t arrive despite being told on two occasions that it’s coming,didn’t get the croissant i ordered but yet still tried to charge me for it and after all this had the audacity to put a service charge on the bill,waiter who originally come over didn’t even bother apologising for his mistake,defo won’t be going back to that one ever again.

I went to Cote to celebrate a family friends birthday. I took a cake a day before went. Staff very kindly stored it for me. On arrival staff were very friendly. Our birthday guest was given a glass of bubbly, which was a very nice gesture. Thank you. They wanted to know which guest to present the cake to. The food was very good. My only thought they did get very busy, and seemed to struggle a bit with serving all the tables. This did not effect our very nice evening. Thank you for making it a special birthday.

Booking was easy and although late by almost an hour due to weather and traffic conditions,the staff were helpful, obliging and very professional in every way

Nothing wrong with the food, very good. The service left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 7 p.m. and no one came to take order until 7.25! The table next to us arrived after us and were served with their drinks before our order was even taken for drinks or food. I ordered creamed spinach with my meal and this did not come along until I was half way through my meal. Although we had a la carte, my wife saw that there was a dessert on the early bed menu which she liked and asked the waitress if she could have this. The waitress asked the manager who refused even though we were willing to pay the full price for the dessert and the menu applied all evening as it was a Wednesday.

Round table we requested for 5 people had been given away just before we arrived. Restaurant was empty at the time . Manager had not even looked at our request on the reservation. Tried to order a starter dish from 1 set menu with main from the Prestige set menu (happy to pay more expensive price). Was told this couldn't be done by a junior waiter, then by the Manager who went away and said she would try to sort and never came back. Finally another waitress was very helpful and said she would override the computer. Never had this problem before. Long process to make order and very annoying you cannot have what you want to eat. I appreciate we had the set menu but still paying £45pp for 3 x 2 course and 2 x 3 course set menu.

Helpful, attentive staff. They went out of their way to help, and sort, when my son had set his sights on something no longer showing on the starter menu!

The service was good, but the food much less so. We went for brunch and I had the Eggs Florentine. My companion had the Vegetarian breakfast. My poached eggs were overcooked and when the waiter came by and asked how things were, I pointed this out. An egg was speedily replaced, but this turned out, although appropriately runny, to be almost cold inside. I suspect this means they are using pre-cooked eggs (a not unusual practice) and not taking much care in finishing them off. The vegetarian meal was fine, but the accompanying hollandaise sauce was definitely not to my companion's taste, being nearly tasteless, with no piquancy and apparently consisting of melted butter (not surprising I suppose). A shame, as I have eaten here before with no problems, and a breakfast should not be challenging for a restaurant like this.

On a busy Mother’s Day, their service was fast, friendly and polite. The food was lovely (French breakfast) and the Mother’s Day deal with a glass of champagne was very good value.

Restaurant extremely busy tonight so we had to wait an eternity to order and then for food. Staff apologised and gave some drinks after best part of an hour.. first food came 1hr 30 mins after we sat, again long period before main courses. Food itself was excellent, atmosphere good and we would go again..

Arrived early for Valentines meal booked for 2100 and was seated almost immeasurably invthd front bar. Although the front restaurant was empty was seated immediately next to a rather brash young man and his partner who continued with his load and course conversation without any respect to other diners. Fortunately they left about 30 minutes into our meal. Although the front was fairly empty a second couple was seated directly behind us. There was sufficient space to have seated them at least one table away and this remained the same during the rest of the evening. Ruined the atmosphere for us ☹️

Not the best service, under staff which meant waiting 55mins to some to come and take our order! Waited 40mins for some to take the 12.5% tip off but still no one came! So felt I had no choice but to pay the tip over-wise we be waiting all night! Don’t mind paying a tip but not for crap service

My wife’s monkfish was over cooked. Our waitress was quiet abrupt dealing with us. Our last 3/4 visits we have been charged for an extra drink, which was removed from our bill once it was pointed out. We love Côte normally but because it was early around 5.30 we think the chef and staff had an off night.

Warm, welcoming restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was tasty but I would have liked some fresh salad with the steak frites. It is just the steak and fries.

Very friendly and efficient service. Scrumptious food (tuna Niçoise salad) and very GF friendly. Also a real treat having the complimentary French 75 Aperitif which was delicious. A lovely lunch!
