Good menu Good service Good food Good atmosphere. Just a lovely experience and great staff
Overall, not massively impressed. I'm quite picky and expect value for money which I don't think we got overall. Small things but cutlery was dirty, when offered condiments they asked my wife then walked away and I had to call them back to ask for mine. At this type of restaurant, personally I expect better. People on the table next to us also had a chipped glass. Things were sorted out quickly and politely but at this level, I don't think these things should happen in the first place. I've rated the service low as I think their attention to detail should be better but it was prompt and polite. We both had moules aux cidres to start. These were very bland. Even the flavour seemed to have been boiled out of the bacon lardons. Would definitely not order this again. The main courses were good though. My wife had the ribeye which was good and I had the pork belly which was very good. At the price that was charged for the mains, we don't particularly agree with paying additional for a simple green salad or some veg. but we knew this when we went in. Personally, I don't like the assumption of adding a 12.5% service fee to a bill. You can ask for it to be taken off but it should be at a customers discretion whether to offer it for exceptional service. The atmosphere was nice - roughly half full on a Wednesday night so had a reasonable buzz about it. At just over £30/head for two courses and a glass of wine each, I didn't exactly feel ripped off but didn't walk out thinking it was value for money. Would we eat there again - probably. Would we rush back - no.
Service was awful! We waited over an hour to be asked what we wanted to eat, and then another 30 minutes for the bill. We had to ask twice and then the waitress ‘forgot’ to give us our change. We then had to ask another member of staff! When she came back she said we had miscalculated and took £1 out of my friends change to make up the difference. We absolutely had not miscalculated and this just added to the awful service we received.
Lovely breakfast for both of us-fresh and tasty. Waitress was excellent-friendly, attentive and professional. Just one small improvement needed-my pain au chocolat was barely warm though I had asked forit to be heated up. Yoghurt, granola and berry compote was fresh and delicious and my husband's cooked French breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot.

Very enjoyable company and good venue. A pleasant evening. Service good, and tasty food with delicious free cocktails. Music not necessary as plenty of chatter.
I was really impressed. I simply put a commnet on the booking that it was a 50th Birthday celebration and we arrived to balloons, complimentary fizz and a cake. What a lovely surprise...thank you so much for making it a special meal.
Hi. We came for an early evening menu on Friday; my wife and I come to Cote Worcsester regularly. Although my wife really enjoyed her meal (haddock) and the wine was good, mine was really disappointing. I ordered boef en croute... what I got was nothing like any boef en croute I’ve ever seen and it was a poor attempt too! I know this isn’t the Worcester branch fault ; it’s whoever thinks that Cote’s clientele have never been to France or cooked a decent meal. It was something worthy of a cheap pub. The beef was ok , sparse, but dry; mixed with a couple of tough pan fried leeks and placed on separately cooked puff pastry squares does not make this classic dish! I know it was on an early evening menu but really- that is no excuse for such a poor approximation. Now Mr Grumpy of Worcsester. :-(
Really good food. Friendly welcoming staff good location classy value
Good food and good service as usual. We had the mussels, I had as a main & my cousin has the starter size. We had to pay £5 extra to have bread with the dishes, which you need with moules marinieres to mop up the juices. I also think 12.5% service charge is too much.
My favourite restaurant for Lunch or Dinner must try the Breakfast sometime. First class service, great menu selection and special compliments to the Chef. The staff really listen and try to accommodate any special requests. We love trying the monthly special cocktails and we'll be going back ASAP. Well done to a great team at Cotes (Worcester).
Delicious lunch today and excellent service from a really helpful, efficient and professional team. The complimentary glass of Prosecco was a really appreciated touch, thank you. We were a group of 6 friends who had a ‘get together’ and chat over lunch! Brilliant.
The food is always great and last night did not disappoint. A huge thank you to the staff who were all really friendly and attentive. A fabulous night all round.
We have visited a number of Cote throughout the country and they never disappoint. The food and the service are consistently an excellent standard. The menu is always varied but has our firm favourites including french onion soup and fish parameter.
We had a great night for my Wifes Birthday , the atmosphere was really friendly and the food was very authentic French , the staff were really efficient and professional we will be back !!! 5 Star 😄😄😄😄😄
It was awful would never come again. Table was dirty when we were seated. No cuttlery or water glasses laid. When they bought complimentary water we poured it there was stuff floating in it, they said it was tissue. So we asked for some bottled water but it never came. Food was average. No one apologised or spoke to us. And we had to ask for the bill 3 times. Worst £100 I’ve ever spent.
A friend and I enjoyed a superb meal on Friday evening, 08 March.. Food, service and ambience were excellent. Really impressed coeliac meal choices were served personally by Duty Manager. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, waiters and waitresses were amazing! Staff there really deserve more credit as they work incredibly well together which adds to the professionalism and ‘fine dining’ feel of the restaurant! Shall be back for sure!
Yet again an enjoyable evening at Cote. Quality of food excellent, good variety for all tastes. You can partake in something new or stay traditional with steak and chips. Service is always attentive but not intrusive which is how l like it. Well done
I had French onion soup to start which was pleasant but lacking the complexity and richness that I have experienced elsewhere once or twice. My main was boeuf bourguignon. The bourguignon itself was very salty and the pieces of meat were too small. The meat was tender. I only received a very small portion of mash and it came with a strange piece of toasted bread that was cut into the shape of a heart. I wasn't pleased with this as it seemed to be made from poor quality white sliced bread and seemed like an after thought that they had thrown on top because they ran out of mash. A hearty stew like bourguignon should be served with hunks of warm crusty bread, not this lifeless stuff. Fortunately my pudding, chocolate fondant, was delicious! The service was pleasant and swift and the atmosphere was lively as expected on a Friday night but a little on the loud side. I would have hoped for a better main course though.
Cote offers an excellent and consistent standard of food and value for money. The restaurant is always warm and the staff welcoming It’s akways a good experience and the best creme caramel ever!
Yet another brilliant meal at Cote. Great atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and service at a very reasonable cost. I didn’t need 25 words to summarise our experience!
Food fantastic and Ellie our Waitress was wonderful...helpful, polite and very very smiley. We waited a little long for our food but Ellie soon sorted it
Generally rate Cote above Café Rouge but on this occasion Moule Frites disappointed !Portion size not very good and taste and flavour of the sauce not very good .
We really enjoy eating at Côte. However, despite having pointed out that we were due to receive complimentary drinks as part of a promotion this still appeared on the bill. I also get very irked to have to ask staff to remove the service bill of 12.5% each time when I come to pay. I do think that this should be optional and not automatically applied as a matter of course.
Although the restaurant in Worcester became fairly full the noise level rather loud because of excessive hard surfaces with no sound absorbent materials - it was, however, acceptable as a busy French-style bistro - which it is meant to be. Unfortunately, although it was relatively quiet on arriving, the level of piped 'music' was excessive with thumping bass noise. On request the staff turned the volume down somewhat for a time but it was still difficult for three of us to hold a conversation. In addition to the volume there is the question of the type of music -we don't want the sort of thumping sounds that kids expect to hear at pop festivals. I suggest that the tracks are chosen by such youths with no regard to the wishes of the customer. I suggest in addition to staff coming to the table to ask if the food is OK you should also ask whether the music is too loud or too quiet - you may be surprised at the answer. The solutions is in the customers' hands - they will not come again and that is the experience of may of my friends - I can't think that many people will stay away from your restaurants if the piped music is quieter or a different type - the opposite is true if it is too loud, a pity for for us as we are fairly regular customers. What about having an area where there are no overhead loudspeakers.
excellent meal, excellent service, excellent value and great manageress but we did have to bring to her attention that one member of staff was rather distracted. Fortunately she wasn't our server
Great value and service every time, thank you once again.
The service was slow tonight- delay in ordering & paying, 2 people checked if our meal was ok. Did say it was ( as with friend and didn’t want to make her uncomfortable) but Sea Bream was clearly deep fried for too long and so dried out! Other food good. Lovely staff, as ever. From my experience of working in Restaurants they just weren’t checking enough as to what stage we were at! Do not look for visual cues- keep tabs on all tables, guys! You can’t rely on body language to read stage diners are at! A good experience varies for us all- based on individual needs on the day! E.g. I had concerns about my car parking!!
Great dishes and you'll be spoilt for choice. Very caring attentive staff and nothing is too much trouble. Reasonably priced quality food served throughout the whole day.
It was okay, but a couple of things could have been better. The toasted bread served with the charcuterie was burnt and we should have asked for replacement and my fish stew had grit/sand in the mussels. The size of the beer bottles are extremely small for the prices you pay and with only a small choice in this area of either lager based drinks or one cider, not being a fan of lager or cider,I tend to try a couple of the lagers but always feel disappointed of the lack off decent beers on offer(and size).Still an enjoyable night and will return as we do like the food and ambiance of Cote.
Staff were very helpful, good value for money, but best they never make Potato and Fennel mash. Looked horrible, too strong the fennel flavour and it was cold. We did highlight this, but no action or compensation made.
Once again a very enjoyable lunch at Cote Worcester. Booking is straightforward. Welcome is friendly and genuine. Seating was very quick. Just the right length of time to peruse the menu before order was taken. Menu is extensive with more fish options than most restaurants. Everything we ordered came in an appropriate time, was well presented, hot and delicious. Waiting staff were friendly , attentive, seemed to enjoy their job and were efficient. An added bonus to the meal was a free bottle of Rose thanks to Saga's Possibilities scheme.
Côte had been recommended to us by friends and it was everything we hoped for. We had a lovely lunch, the set menus had really lovely options. The staff were very friendly and the service also very good. The food was really good and portions just right. I would recommend this restaurant and will certainly be going back often.
Saturday lunchtime, food nice but as a table of 6 felt crammed into a corner, near to toilet and bar area. As we had pre-booked this was very disappointing, also the fact that tip is added to bill is poor as this should up to customers to decide how good their service is and appropriate tip.
Went on Monday lunchtime to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. Fabulous food. Service was very good. Always a good meal. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings.
All the staff were attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was informal and friendly - and the room was warm, which was really welcoming as it had turned cold outside. We had to wait a little while for the main course but it was very busy, so we didn't mind. Altogether a very pleasant experience which we will repeat soon.
So consistly good! Another great evening at Cote. The atmosphere is always excellent and staff particularly friendly. Food was to the usual high standard with subtle ingredients ensuring great flavours. Highly recommend.
Great food, great service, which made for a great night..!
I love coming here, food, drinks & staff are always excellent!
I have been to Cote Worcester several times and every time I go I thoroughly enjoy myself. The ambiance is great, the surroundings are very comfortable, service is always brilliant as the staff there are very attentive, and the food is truly delicious! It always feels very classy and a touch above most restaurants, recommended!
Had a wonderful meal with excellent service, very friendly and attentive staff, in very comfortable surroundings. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be going again soon.
I like the menu so 3 mains unavailable was not as bad as it sounds. Lovely food and very good service by young enthusiastic staff. Will come again
Smart stylish restaurant, busy atmosphere, delicious food, helpful staff, a couple of small items were a little slow to arrive but this was dealt with very well. We had a lovely family meal.
My one star is for the excellent cuisine. Unfortunately the whole experience was ruined for myself and two friends. The noise from a nearby table was unbelievable. We couldn’t hear each other speak. My friend Rita asked the group if they could turn down their conversation as we couldn’t hold one ourselves. They actually thought our request was hilarious and deliberately increased the volume.
Lovely staff and delicious food. Very helpful and polite, and cater well for dietary needs. The background music was awful!! why do I need a minimum of 25 words!

The food at Cote is always reliably of a high standard. We were greeted & a conversation about early lunch enabled us to place our order and enjoy our 2 courses even sooner. Our waiter showed interest and was polite and attentive. The food was excellent, as always! Both ourselves & people on next table waited a too long to pay - car parking charges and work commitments can turn a pleasant experience into a stressful one! N.B. It was difficult to gain staff attention, as busy serving- training need?
Front window seat, plenty of room, good attentive staff. Food was excellent
Usual good service and food beautifully cooked and presented. Charcuterie board outstanding.Birthday Kir very welcome and a nice touch- it certainly encouraged us to take the opportunity.
Lovely food and staff. Thank you for making our visit such an enjoyable one. The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
We waited over an hour for main course. Our sweet was delivered with one missing and cheese delivered without biscuits or bread. The waitress was lovely but such a shame for the wait
