Really enjoyed a long Sunday lunch here. Good service, excellent food and a relaxed, friendy atmosphere. We will definitely be going back again in the near future.

Went for lunch on a Sunday at 1pm Was quiet on arrival so service was very prompt, had Pork belly that was cooked to perfection, waiter recommended special dessert which was delicious. Even when it got busier was just a nice relaxed & happy atmosphere

Usual enjoyable experience, just to say, so you can keep your good standards up, the vegetables were cold though, peas, b beans and rocket with the fish Thank you for the bottle of wine

It has become a tradition every Saturday breakfast at Cote Brighton extremely good value! The staff are all friendly and efficient making you feel special. The food quality never varies thank you to all the kitchen staff we never see 😍

As usual ,lovely service,this time from Stella Always feels like a treat going to Cote even though I go quite often. One settles in and feels immediately comfortable and cared for. Then the food arrives which is always good Thank you for a Super evening

Its our favourite pre theatre venue..great price menu, well cooked food.. lovely surroundings and a stones throw from the Theatre.. got few more bookings coming up there during the yeart

Came here for an enjoyable dinner and that’s exactly what we got, fast and friendly service, delicious food, and even a bottle of wine on the house!

We have dined at many cote resteraunts and we have not yet been disappointed. The meals have never disappointed and the service has proved first class coupled with a lovely ambience. We can recommend the steaks . Well done Cote team.

Fries over cooked and very hard and oily, service was good very pleasant young waiter. The rest of the food was good, cocktail not my type of thing

Excellent apart from the embarrassment over the bill where we were charged for champagne instead of Blanc de Blanc! However it was sorted amicably. I would definitely go again.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Only negative was waiter took my glass away before I had finished (I do drink slowly and sip) and was too embarrassed to say I hadn't finished.

We were greeted warmly and served very attentively by our waitress Emma who managed to be both professional and friendly. My Boeuf Bourgignon was unctuous and very flavoursome. As always the creme caramel was an absolute delight. The kir Royale started the evening well and we had a wonderful time I love Cote Brighton ! It’s my go to restaurant . I’ve never had a disappointing meal or bad service

Wonderful food and service as usual. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked and the wine complimented perfectly. We always feel welcome and love the inclusive atmosphere in Côte in Brighton. Buzzy but not too noisy. We love this place.

I have always had excellent service and food when taking guests to lunch which hitherto I have done quite regularly, but the evening experience is substantially different. Once before I had reason to complain about the evening service as we had to leave for a performance in the Dome. This time I took three guests to eat at 7.15pm - we finally left at 10.50pm. Having called for the bill we were eventually told that they had no CC machines working and couldn't take payment this way - staff suggested there was a cash machine round the corner, or they would write out CC details. We collectively had enough to pay cash which cleared us out. the food was fair but really quite average. You will need to get your act together before I come back with guests in an evening - after all it was a Monday night and you were not that busy.

Good service. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Portions slightly on the small side. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come back. Good pre show place to eat as a couple or a group.

I ordered the cassoulet after seeing it advertised on the website, when it came it was nothing like the picture. The portion was small, the beans were tasteless and the meat seemed to have been added afterwards in the form of a very small duck leg and sausage. My friend's stew was similarly lacking oomph. The waitresses were lovely and service good but the food has gone downhill over the past year.Pity. I hope it picks up.

Mothers Day, it was really busy but the staff were super attentive, we were shown to a lovely table, our orders were taken quickly & they were flexible with the menu to help with my fussy eater, swapping a side order for us at no extra charge. The food was delicious, & hot. (luke warm food is my pet hate). Our waitress was really apologetic when our first choice of dessert was sold out & gave us lots of other options. Happy all round.

Second visit in 2 weeks complimentary gin cocktail was amazing! Service was great and food lovely a great way to celebrate our 50th birthday with friends I've known for 30 years.

We came here for breakfast which was fantastic and Stella the waitress was so attentive and polite. We then decided later that day that as we had had such a lovely breakfast we would come back for dinner. We where served by Zoe and she was so nice and polite and we where also looked after by Stella again who with Zoe made the whole experance a very memorable one and the food was absolutely fantastic and so was the service. The chef was kind enough to make a portion of mushrooms to go with the stake after being asked by the lady’s. All in all we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Côte to anyone looking for good food with great service. Well done.

Poor service and cold food. Manager had a bit of an attitude when we pointed out the food was cold. Not sure I’ll be going back.

Really good end to the week meeting friends for supper Friday night. Excellent buzzy atmosphere but good and attentive service. Started off with the blood orange martini, which was excellent and drinking the Provence rose throughout our meal. We all had pissaldiere to start with followed by duck - really good, sea bass good, fish stew - very good and cod goujons - good. Everyone very happy!

We had a lovely lunch in Brighton Côte - delicious food and wine and our waitress Zoe was fantastic - very attentive and efficient and so friendly and kind. Thank you Zoe and thank you Côte! All sections are 5 Star!

Cote in Brighton is our regular one although we do visit the one in Lewis too (also excellent!) and in London (various depends where we go ). The standard is always excellent and last Saturday the service of the waiter (s) working as a team very good indeed. The food as always was delicious - so big thanks to the kitchen staff as well :-)

Good menu good choices and good atmosphere. Booking taken on line and table ready when arrived. Service was quick and waiting staff friendly. Will come again.

We had a delicious Birthday meal for the family this evening in Brighton. The food and service were brilliant as usual and my children always enjoy being treated like adults at dinner. Thank you for a fabulous evening Cote 😀

Didn’t eat for over an hour. The food had apparently gone off in the fridge. We waited along time and when it finally came wasn’t bad. Ordered poached eggs, Closer to hard boiled. Table next to us complained and got a free breakfast. We didn’t. I don’t like to complain except for now haha.

The food was lovely but with a limited choice for vegetarians. All of the three vegetarian dishes contained cheese and the cheeses are quite pungent, so a bit strong for some palates. Everything we ate was delicious. Atmosphere was good but no background music so very noisy with chatter.

We enjoyed our meal and found the ambience agreeable, the service attentive and considerate (despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy) and the value for money good.

Excellent food as always. Great atmosphere, and very attentive, efficient staff. Very good value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Cotes. It's a great place to eat before going to the theatre.
