Good service and very good food, waiter helpful and attentive. Food , there was a good choice and all the meals our party had were well presented and very tasty.
Great service but the main, course was a let down pork belly bad cuts been, here alot of times and had the same meal without any problem
Excellent meal in friendly atmosphere and very good value, the complimentary wine was well received and was the icing on the cake. Will definitely keep using Cote as one of our favourites.
A very busy place full of buzz. Pleasant staff ; good food, reasonably priced. The 2 or 3 course menus are particularly good value. Would go again !
Lovely food fabulous service and more importantly they are consistant in providing both. A winning formula! Which I hope they continue with for a long time to comr
once again a most enjoyable time was had by all. The food choice suited everyone and was served in a happy manner. We always look forward to our visits and only wish we had a branch in Cornwall where we live . thank you .
We have used Cote in Brighton a number of times & have always enjoyed the whole experience. Most occasions it has been early evening, prior to the theatre or a concert, but this time it was lunch prior to the theatre. We have always let the restaurant know we need to be away by a certain time & they have always ensured we complete our meal in good time. We can't speak too highly of the staff & the overall service, would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food in a lively setting.
Dessert was really nice, even better than main course. Its better to go on week days, since they have lunch set and it will be much cheaper.
Food was great this time - love the tuna rilletes. Service was excellent too and this particular venue is one of the best we have been too. Brighton it is!
The breakfast was excellent and the offer made it very good value for money. The service was efficient and although there weren't many people eating there was a pleasant atmosphere
I was disappointed with our meal. I usually enjoy Cote, but both my starter and our mains were almost cold, and therefore unappetising. Hopefully they were just having an off day.
The food was delicious, as always, and great value. We chose from the 3 course early evening menu. The service was great; food delivered at just the right pace so you had time to savour it and didn't feel you were being rushed through your courses. Our waitress was both charming and efficient.
A beautiful building right opposite The Dome, so perfect for pre-gig dinner, as in our case. Divine steak, beautifully cooked & a good bottle of red. Friendly & helpful staff. Would recommend.
I Often go to Cotes with my girl friends in the evenings and sometimes befor 7pm for special menue food allways very good great atmosphere
Consistently great food, fantastic service and atmosphere.. the Breton chicken is sublime as is the steak tartar.. a great place to be with friends.. what's not to like?
the wine was great for the price, I had the steak which was just how i liked it and the O/H had fish stew which she loved and the service was lovely
Excellent food and friendly staff. We were made very welcome on arrival and there was a great customer service from all staff. The food and quality of wine was second to none
Beautiful venue, good service and of course great value food. We popped in before the theatre and were very impressed by the whole experience. Always reliable!
Excellent service, great food. Only downside restaurant is far too loud and noisy. Its needs something to break up the sound. Probably would not go back as often because of that
We visit Cote Brighton quite regularly, we love the food the ambience and the professionalism of the staff who all go out of the way to ensure you have a great experience, top place to eat.
Very slow service on a Sunday night, and the ribeye steak was a little disappointing. Otherwise lovely staff and the restaurant itself is very nice.
Great restaurant in relation to the building and decor - truly so. The food is good - although the mussels were gritty.. The food is worth the price usually apart from that hiccup, especially with the lunch deal
We arrived on time and were shown to our table. Served straight away with drinks and our starter was served almost immediately. Unfortunately there was an incident in the kitchen with one of the main courses which ment we had a long wait for our main course and didn't have time for desert or coffee as we were due at the theatre. We use the restaurant regularly when we go to the theatre and the food is always of a high standard.
Service and food was excellent. The tables are too close together, it's uncomfortable when hearing others conversation next to you and tricky chatting with strangers on your shoulder. Definitely would return but would rather sit at s different table. The set menu is excellent value. Very noisy restaurant. Staff fabulous.
The restaurant has a fabulous atmosphere and the staff do a fantastic job always very helpful and polite have been many times now and have always enjoyed myself
Good food, average service. Using twenty five words is unnecessary as one can easily sum up the service and food in a couple of words
Sat outside on the terrace. Very good food & service to match. A lovely experience. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to next time. We were made to feel so welcome.

We had a lovely meal in the upstairs part of the restaurant. One of our main courses was wrong but the waiter ordered the right dish straightaway and took the dish from the bill. Although the restaurant was busy there was no attempt to get us to leave.
Great service and great food for my sons 18th Birthday celeb. Attentive waiters/waitresses. Great all round as we have come to expect from one of Brightons best restaurants. Thank you!
Great food at good prices and excellent service. The assistant manager and waiter went out of their way to welcome us and look after our needs. The Brighton branch continues to be our favourite.
A warm welcome, a good varied menu. The table was lovely (we sat near the windows looking out onto the street) and the food was delicious.
The food was good but the wobbly table was distracting. The staff were pleasant as usual and the service was prompt. We would return to this restaurant.
Great service. All the waiting staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. They made special arrangements for me to sit somewhere comfortable as I use crutches. The food was delicious and the house wine highly satisfactory.
Got a free Kir Royale because it was my birthday. Food excellent as always. Sublime Crème caramel. I go there very regularly and the food is always great as is the service.
Food was great, something for everyone which is especially good when eating out with children. Service was a little slow, but staff we're very friendly.
Very nice breakfast, lovely staff. Good quality ingredients nicely cooked and presented, big pot of tea and large glass of orange or apple juice all included. Water provided without having to ask, will definitely go back.
The service was not as excellent, as usual. The food was brilliant and very tasty. The restaurant was busy, but not overly, so that the service personell should have been more observant to our needs. We had a 3 course meal and wanted a coffee after, but the waiter just came to ask, if we wanted the bill, when we tried to get his attention.
lovely food and some waiters were so helpful however other staff not so much. Also out of mussels, crab and tuna so for someone who is not a meat fan it was slightly annoying but not their fault.
Wonderful cote de boeuf - the best I have had+ excellent service from staff. Pleasant ambience in a beautiful period building. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant
Fantastic food, great service - a lovely anniversary lunch. My Beef Bourgignon was mouth-wateringly good, washed down with an excellent Pinot Noir. Thank you Cote
We had a great meal but initially all our meals - 2 steaks , 2 fish were served very cool. However, they took them back and served 4 fabulous plates of food with an additional couple of basic salads. Staff were fabulous.
Lovely food, excellent and friendly service, all very prompt and seamless, but the room was very, very hot. Could really do with some air conditioning.
Wonderful welcome. Excellent choice of food which everyone enjoyed. It was a very busy time at the restaurant and perhaps the service could have been a little more attentive. Overall would certainly recommend and look forward to another visit.
The food was amazing, never had such delicious whitebait , great steak frites. Would definitely recommend this restaurant in fact I have been raving about it to my friends. Service very friendly and attentive.
Table not fully wiped and it wobbled. Candle not lit and it needed replacing. Otherwise very enjoyable experience although, oddly, seemed less tasty than usual.
Lovely setting. Friendly welcome and great service from our waitress. The food was good, especially enjoyed the pork belly and ice cream with dark chocolate sauce, Yum!!. Thank you.
Really tasty food. The early evening menu has a good range and is excellent value. The Brighton restaurant is in a beautiful high ceilinged building. It is well placed for a pre concert dinner as it is close to The Dome and Theatre Royal. We will definitely be back.
Restaurant was very busy on Mothers Day.# Disappointed with my chicken dish, it was very dry. My daughter's seafood main was full of bones. What a shame!
From start to finish the staff were polite and attentive. Really busy in there as always but didn't feel rushed. Nice relaxed atmosphere All 4 of us had different meals and all enjoyed them . Will be visiting again
Very nice - a great value prix fixe, all food excellent and lovely wine. Just a bit noisy - so many hard surfaces for the babble of diners to bounce off.
