Tasty and well cooked. Waiting staff were pleasant. Thats it.

The restaurant itself is lovely. The food is very nice in its majority (I was a bit disappointed in the creme brulee) The attention from the waiting staff is what let this place down as we have had to deal with 4 different waiters and also had to keep calling them over to get more drinks / order desert / get the bill etc etc etc

Unfortunately we ate at Cote on Sunday evening and most of the menu was unavailable, no specials, no fish and no duck all the things you go to Cote for. The meal was also tepid not hot, we had to remind the waitress to bring our side orders. They seemed understaffed although there were not a lot of customers. My advice would be if you don't want to put on a full service on Sundays evenings then don't open.

A lovely meal last night. Our last three experiences prior to this have been disappointing with regards to service but last night the service and everything was perfect - what we usually expect from Cote.

Very good staff attention, although Book a Table said no room at 7.30 when phoned the restaurant they managed to find a table for four for us. Table service speed a little slow, but acceptable. However when the food did arrive, Onion Soup could have been hotter, and 1 hour after arrival, my main course of Duck was well cooked but again only warm. Others in the party also made the same sort of comments. Wonder if there were problems in the kitchen waiting for the collection/delivery to the table? Was too hungry to send it back! Would like to visit again sometime, as would like to think that our experience would be improved.

We were greeted in a friendly manner when we arrived and quickly shown to our table. Service was good and waiter friendly. One of our party ordered the cassoulet, but was disappointed as it was overcooked. Everyone else seemed enjoy their food. It got quite noisy with people talking but it didn’t distract us too much. Overall a nice experience

Really nice food and good service. We opted for the fixed priced meal which was better than I expected. The enfants meal was suitable for the children which they thoroughly enjoyed. Although, we were the only guests (at 5:30pm) it still has that sense of a good atmosphere just because of the way the restaurant is set out. Although it did pick up quickly afterwards Excellent service and good wait times between meals

Had a lovely breakfast! Great environment delicious food and even had a cheeky glass of bubbly as a special occasion. You can always guarantee good service, lovely food and a great atmosphere.

I’m dairy intolerant and asked for new boiled potatoes with no dairy, it was served with dairy so asked them to change it. 2 minutes later the same potatoes came out washed, greasy potato skin and could still smell butter inside the potato. I asked them to refund me this as I already had my main. Very disappointing as I have a dairy allergy and these mistakes shouldn’t happen.

We love Cote and we love the menu choices and the food. However - the service on our last three occasions in the Watford restaurant has been very poor. There is not enough staff. Last night we had to attraction attention for every bit of our meal - to take our order, to chase up our main course, to get dessert and to finally pay the bill. Not good enough. We have eaten at several Cotes around London - always our first choice - and never have a problem with service elsewhere

Fabulous food - really good quality and well cooked / presented . The venue is really nice and welcoming with comfortable seating . Service was friendly and prompt. Surprised at the price as I have paid a lot more in other restaurants that were not as nice and food not as good as this . Well worth a visit

Out with friends for birthday celebration. First time to this restaurant for all of us. Everything was excellent, lovely food and great value. Will definitely be returning.

In a relatively quiet restaurant, seriously slow service - had to go to front of restaurant to ask for someone to take our drinks order. (Luckily we know service here is not normally so bad) Even when drinks order was taken, it was wrong when it arrived. The food and wine as usual was lovely.

Food was really nice when it got to us when we arrived there was no cutlery on the table we had to ask for cutlery and napkins after our starters were on the table we ordered drinks that never came as well the wait times between starters and main was ok but than it took an age for us to get desert and the bill

Apart from a slight hick-up with the main course, i thought the service, food and total experience was spot on. As a business customer i wanted a short, sharp and fulfilling meal......all boxes ticked and the Team at the restaurant were well marshalled and trained. Well Done.

The girl that served us with mousy blonde hair and braces was very friendly and attentive. She made the experience a lot more pleasurable. The food was really good too but a little overpriced for something you could get in any good restaurant/pub but the atmosphere and service made it worth it.

It was ok, but service could have been better considering they were not busy on a Sunday evening. Had to wait quite a time to order, and we got our starters before any drinks (even tap water)!

Overall food was very good and so was service. Couple of small niggles stopped me giving it maximum stars. Slight delay in seating although reservation was made and fries were a little cold but very minor issues on an otherwise lovely meal.

Very good service and good food for the price. Pretty much get a satisfying experience every time we dine at Côte Watford. Sometimes you just want the simple things to be done right, like clean tables and attentiveness in the midst of high customer volumes which this restaurant succeeds in.

Venue and location was amazing , Menu options was good . The service could have been a lot better though. Doesn't compare to the one in Hampstead

We had a very special meal for a celebration. The staff made extra effort to make it particularly memorable . The food was delicious .
