Côte Watford

I notified the Brasserie that it was our Wedding Anniversary breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised that on our arrival a card from the Brasserie was on the table. Very nice and thoughtful from the staff. A very nice breakfast and a good start to our Anniversary Thanks to all the staff

I had the most wonderful birthday meal at Cote Brasserie. Friendly, attentive service from start to finish. Great food with that certain French 'je ne sais quoi'... the Crème Brulee was to die for! And lovely birthday touches that made for a special occasion.

Lovely experience and a friendly waiter. Quick service and gorgeous food.

Food was good. The service was appalling. It took 30 mins to get the bill.

This was our first trip to Watford Cote and an extremely good experience it was, having been to the next door Cinema. It was a busy evening but the service was excellent and the food as usual beyond reproach, our usual Cote is Amersham however I am sure that we will be back to Watford shortly. Well done to everybody.

The food was excellent, the orange Martini was nice but could have done with some more vodka!

Everything is good as the average night out for dinner and the starter I have of special lunch deal of the mushroom soup was alright because it was quite lumpy and I prefer a very much blended very smooth and thick of a light grey colour to tell that is very good to eat and besides that everything is fantastic even the food is overpriced but it was very good

Great food and service as usual. For few in my party it was their first visit and they were quite impressed.

Zero stars!! We walked out after sitting at table for ages without anyone even taking our drinks order. The worst thing is nobody even noticed us walking out. Terrible service will not be recommending or going back here.

Food and service staff were amazing however was slightly disappointed with the barman. Having sat at a table near the bar and hearing him swear on a number of occasion was not professional and not pleasant considering we were trying to enjoy valentines day. Apart from that everything was fab

Rather less organised than other Cotes I've been too. Mushroom soup not easily identified as such. Bread charged for... a VERY un-French practice! Chicken Parmentier tasty, though not what I call "Parmentier". However, bill very reasonable for a decent meal. Staff friendly and efficient, though a little slow at times. There seemed only 3 of them to attend to a fairly busy sitting (1pm and on).

This really is the best restaurant in Watford. We have been at the weekend and midweek, and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the service fantastic. Having mentioned when booking yesterday that we were celebrating an anniversary, we were surprised by confetti on our table and a complimentary drink to help us celebrate! This was a welcome and lovely surprise. Can't wait to go back again.

The soup was very peppery. The Steak was tough and the worst I have had at cote, normally your steak is very good so I was disappointed. The staff are quite good.

The breakfast service for my Wife's birthday was absolutely phenomenal! We are definitely coming back again. Thank you!

Took my parents for a surprise early evening supper. Both said it was the nicest meal they'd had in a long time. We ordered from the February specials; Dad's fillet steak was melt-in-the-mouth apparently and Mum's chicken was wonderful. The free cocktails were the icing on the cake!! Service was, as always, fantastic.

We had a really lovely meal and the service was great. Fab February cocktail too.

A great new menu for February - help and professional staff in a great atmosphere.

The food and service was very good. We used the January Offer. As the prices are normally more than we would pay I doubt we would visit again but a nice experience just the same. Thank you.

The restaurant was chaotic with a 21st Party going on in the corner. Staff were overwhelmed and understaffed. The restaurant was 100% capacity. Food took a long time to come and was cold when it came. The soup of the day was mis informed so we were expecting mushroom as ordered but got parsnip. 3 main courses served and waited another 5 mins for the last 3 - our waitress couldnt have been nicer - very apologetic offered desserts on the house for the 2 people who had been served the wrong soup but overall it affected everyone

Service and food excellent, particularly liked fresh the orange juice. I really enjoyed my breakfast. We will try it for lunch or dinner next.

My sister and I meet here for breakfast quite a lot as the food is great and the service is faultless. We both had the breakfast deal (choice of breakfast, juice and hot drink for 10.95) and it's such good value. It may be because this is a new branch but it's clean, beautifully decorated and quiet considering it's always busy! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Excellent service it was my boyfriend birthday and the table had confetti which was a nice touch when we arrive. Staff were pleasant. Although it would if been a nice touch if maybe a desert or a birthday dessert could of been brought out as we have had in other restaurants

I absolutely love Cotes, the food is amazing, great atmosphere and staff and took advantage of the January offer of a free bottle of wine - beautiful, will be back in February :--)

Tasty food, excellent service, great atmosphere. We felt really well looked after, with great attention to detail. We even left with a foil swan sculpture that the children were very impressed about (adults too!). Will return.

We have been to the Watford Cote many times now and as usual the service was outstanding, the food beautifully prepared and served, and the ambiance warm and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

First time we had visited the new Watford restaurant and we were extremely impressed with the beautiful new décor. We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed a delicious lunch. A special effort was made for us, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The food was, as always, excellent and extremely good value. The staff helpful and knowledgeable regarding the menu and accompanying wines. Cote is our first choice when choosing a restaurant either for celebrations or just a last minute lunch.
