Great evening with lovely food and very good service, thanks.

Cassoulet De Toulouse was overcooked and missing the sausage! Did ask for the sausage and got it separately, some time later (?!?!?). Got the impression waiters and Manager didn't understand that this meal should have contained this. - hence maybe their patronising and confrontational attitude. Meals were over cooked. Side salad was brown on edges and doused in oil. French fries lacking with dishes, compared to other branches we have visited and always had happy experience. Disappointing.

Nice food, well presented. Personable staff. Good choice of gluten free food for our coeliac guest.

The sevice was great the duck was cook well but the cherry were bitter and the sauce was a bit bland spinach was watery

Left waiting from the time we entered to the time we paid. Although the staff were pleasant and present in sufficient numbers there seemed to be poor organisation to ensure service.

Enjoyed the meal. Although it took a while to come, The team were clearly under pressure, however they seemed to remain calm. Service was friendly and not overpowering.

Have been in many Cotes and usually the service is exemplary but this was second visit to Watford in 4 days and basically seems to be understaffed in the kitchen and for service. Having to bus the food down 2 flights of stairs cant help. Quality as always was good.

Service a bit slow,main courses arrived only warm?? Not good as the room was not very full

Fantastic. Staff were very attentive and it was very busy. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was cooked fresh and presented well. Portion size was just right, although some may say small. Loved the whole evening and can not wait to go back.

Really enjoyable and tasty lunch at Cote catching up with a school friend I've not seen for 10 years! The staff were friendly and attentive and allowed us time to catch up without feeling rushed. Thank you.

Good welcome and attentive waiting staff. The menu has plenty of choice and the food was served hot, good size portion and was delicious. Couple of things I didn't think were up to standard I come to expect from Cote, the sides are on the expensive side and the chocolate mousse was not light and fluffly as ecpected but was a solid lump of chocolate, very disappointing !

Everything was really good.. The menu knowledge and the service could improve, but the staff was very nice and friendly. Overall was a happy dinner

But if a draft everyone the door opens but sort from that good food service and price ok.

The staff as always are v pleasant and efficient, the place was almost full by 6.30pm and with large groups of 16 and more guests it made for a v noisy experience, and hard to talk on our table of 4.

Very good but side dishes that we ordered never appeared even after speaking to waiter they where taken off bill manager and waiter apologised. Still the best restaurant in Watford

Waited 30 minutes to pay the bill. We asked to pay three times and each time someone said one moment, and left. Put a dampener on my birthday meal.

Lovely food, except the mussels starter, over cooked. the set menu i got up online was different to the set menu in the restaurant, the menu in the restaurant was more money, a little confusing.

We always have had consistency at other Cote restaurants but tonight Watford was below par. In our group the Onion soup was bitter, too reduced and for some reason spicy, calamari was very oily and breadbasket took over 20 mins to arrive! Fillet steak way too small, steaks cooked incorrectly, chips cold, service awful trying to get servers attention and food felt too rushed between courses. Really disappointed as expected as good as their other restaurants ☹️

Restaurant was only about half full but the service was quite slow.

Nice menu, helpful waiter however the service was let down by only having 2 staff for the whole restaurant which left us repeatedly trying to catch someone’s eye for condiments or our next course. I’m sure this is a corporate choice but it is not to the benefit of clients in a newly built premises.

Always enjoy my visits to Cote Watford. First time yesterday for dinner and the noise levels were a bit too high to have a conversation without having to raise your voice. Possibly accentuated by a table of young women having a fun evening at a table nearby, but think it is more the acoustics of the room. (We were seated at the back of the restaurant.) Food was delicious. Gluten Free menu has a lot on offer which is greatly appreciated. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient as was the wine waitress. Will definitely be back.

I’m so happy that Watford finally has a restaurant with fantastic food for great prices. Such a lovely and friendly staff. I have visited 4 times so far and food was always delicious. Really good prices too!! Always a pleasure.
