Great value for money, good food and good service 👍🏻

Have had a lovely evening meal at Cote Watford. Food was perfect and service was friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back, finally a great local restaurant!

Service was fine, they were really genial. The burger was dry and came with no condiments, a single piece of lettuce and two cherry tomatoes. You need to up your burger game. This was a pathetic excuse of a burger that was cooked to the point it could have been a hockey puck. The duck was fantastic though and the French onion soup was on point.

A very pleasant lunch. The food was good, the cocktail very tasty and the service friendly and efficient.

Whilst I thought the service was extremely good, as it has been on previous visits, I thought my meal last night was poor. Firstly, I find it amazing that to order a steak and to ask for mushrooms as a side dish was declined...! The restaurant serves mushrooms at breakfast so I’m staggered that there are none available the night before. The steak was also quite dry, despite asking for it to be cooked medium to well done which should have some pink in the middle. I didn’t complain at the time because this would just have led to me and my wife eating separately.

Disappointing. Were were a group of 4, have eaten here many times and had a nice table tonight as usual. Service: Very poor. Our waitress was polite but clearly there were far too few staff servicing. We were left dry - our food was served before the aperitifs! This is totally unacceptable. Additionally, the wine that followed was not chilled. Food: The crab bisque was bland. No crab present, nor even in taste - it could have been tomato soup. We always leave a cash tip on top of the service charge at this restaurant as the service is usually so good. However, tonight we were still charged the standard 12.5% service charge when in fact, it was quite apparent that service was lacking. The Manageress should have been aware of the situation and waived service (complimentary digestif would have been appropriate). Is this a one off?

Staff were attentive, helpful and pleasant. They also were very service orientated. Very impressed! We have been to several branches over the years and this one was the best experience by far. Well done.

Perfect breakfast! The food is delicious. Made fresh to order and it just has that high quality factor which many high street breakfast offerings don't have. Highly recommend the Formulae breakfast which is such good value for money.

I can’t remember the last time we had such a relaxing delicious meal. It was a special occasion and the staff made it even more special. Thank you all for an incredible night

Very good food, and the service was fine and attentive.

We love Cote, the staff are always friendly and the food lovely. Such a large selection for everyone's tastes. We were there for my sons birthday, sadly the dauphinois potatoes with duck were cold, but no problem they rectified it and brought hot ones.

We had a lovely brunch here for a birthday- the table was decorated and we were given a card from the team! Very friendly male waiter and lovely food, overall very good experience would definitely return!

Usually I would give cote Brasserie Watford full marks. But this time despite my colleague staying she wanted her tuna well cooked it was rare and undercooked for her. However in their defence the staff were all very apologetic and gave us a good will £4.50 off the bill. I did however have to eat my meal before hers was returned. Just as well we’re good friends.

Wonderful food and exceptional service. The staff are always incredibly polite and friendly. Extremely impressed. Food was divine - this month’s special pudding was one of the best dessert’s I’ve ever had!

We booked the day before for a table of 8 of us for Sunday brunch. Lovely restaurant, polite, friendly staff, nice decor. Half our party were very late, the staff were very understanding, didn’t feel rushed at all. We all had a mixture of items from the breakfast menu, everyone polished off their food. It was all delicious, fresh, tasty and presented well. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, as were all of the staff. We will definitely return, highly recommend, thank you

A restaurant´s atmosphere sets the stage. Cote lived at to my expectations in terms of decoration, service and food. The place is romantically and stylish decorated with a faint light that makes the restaurant quite cosy and confortable to stay and enjoy a lovely dinner. However, the tables are a bit too close and you may feel heard by people next to you. Not a big deal, though. I was recommended this restaurant a few times and I totally agree about this as the food is delicious. The menu is not too long, there is no a wide range of food, but I guess they offer their specialty. We ordered Salmon and Mushroom Risotto. The fish was perfectly cooked with a healthy salad as side. the risotto looked creamed and the flavor was... delicious, not too salty and a glimpse of mushroom taste. The service treated us fabulously well. They were caring and always with a smile on their faces. I also made a special request as we were celebrating something, this was a dessert with a special message, they followed it to the book and it was really surprising for my girlfriend as she didn't´t expect it. This made the dinner even more special.

Service was too slow. Food nice when it eventually arrived

Our waitress was lovely but it was clear she had a unmanageable number of tables to look after. Food was nice. Seabass was a tad over seasoned but the mussels were delicious. Overall we had a good time!

Decor was nice, staff very friendly. Bit of a wait with getting our order taken and the starter coming out. Had to ask for a spoon for the soup. Mistake on bill as we were charged for the French Martinis that were complimentary. Starters were average and not a huge portion for the crab mayonnaise, main meal was delicious.

Food was excellent but although we pre-ordered as there was 13 of us we still had to wait 30 minutes until the food was served; they said it was because one person had ordered well done Rump Steak ... but they could have started to cook this say 15 mins before we were seated instead they waited until we had arrived. We pre-ordered so that the service would be quick as we only had a 1 hour lunch break overall though a good experience

Took a group of 20 friends for lunch at Cote Watford last week and we all had a lovely time, the food was elegant and delicious, the service was courteous and attentive, thanks for a meal out

A very nice breakfast with excellent service from all the staff

We waited for about 40 mins before we had to call someone over to take our food order. Our calamari & garlic bread starters we shared were lovely but the chicken in mushroom sauce with gratin potatoes was very salty & the 2 of us that had it found it to be a bit cold. My friend ordered the lamb rump which was cold & her potatoes were hard, this was changed for her without a fuss & although she still had to pay for her main she received a complimentary dessert. The desserts we ordered were very nice. Overall a mixed review. After our initial wait, service was good & the staff were very friendly. Would maybe give it another chance in a few months & see if things have improved.

A lovely dining experience with a marvellous setting. Everything was great except the main dish (sea bream) was too salty - so tempting to give full stars for food otherwise. The quality of food was superb!

6 of us went for a business meal here on Wednesday evening that was booked for us by the office manager. The party included staff and directors of the organisation. The food was excellent and couldn't be faulted and generally the staff were very attentive. However, one member of staff was extremely rude after one of our party politely asked if a bottle of wine could be exchanged for a different type before it was opened and he (the staff member) said he was spoken to like a dog! - not the case. There is absolutely no excuse for this sort of behaviour and I hope the management reprimand him. To cap it off the original bottle (which we didn't have) was still on the bill at the end of the evening.

I’d be been previously and had a lovely meal and suggested to my family we came together - service food and every element was exceptional. We had one gentleman (not our actual waiter) who served our food who made us laugh each time he came over! Atmosphere was great - would recommend to all!

It was my mums birthday and I’d let the team know before coming and when we arrived the table was covered in little stars and they’d written a card for her! A lovely thought, really appreciated. Food was excellent only thing we would have liked is the staff to be a bit more attentive as during meal it was very hard to get their attention or gauge waiting times for meals.

The food was lovely. I mentioned to our waitress that it was my birthday and they brought me a chocolate dessert which was a really nice touch. My only grumble was that we waited a long time when we arrived for our drinks and first course. It was lunchtime and not that busy so not sure why the service was so slow.
