Helpful staff and good service. Food is good quality and well served (except we had no bread with the olives but was charged for it) noise level was a little high. Had difficulty in holding a conversation with my friends.

Attentive staff, delicious food. Highly recommend the Boef Bourgignon (sp?!) and the French onion soup. My only boef was the fact that it was so hot in there, we were glad we were near the door.

Our waiter was very friendly and helpful but the service was very slow....an hour after we had ordered the manager told us that the cassoulet that 3 of my party had ordered was not available and we were encouraged to order something else that could be cooked quickly so it could arrive in time with rest of the food ordered by the table. The manager did take the cost of a bottle of wine and coffees off the bill but overall it tarnished the whole experience and two people in my party vowed never to come back to another cote....which is s shame because I think your menu is great.

We were at the back tables and it was a little too dark. Along with other tables we were using iPhone lights to read the menu. Food was good and the staff friendly. Maybe just a bit more space between tables would be nicer, as you may not want to share conversation with the next table.

Very friendly service, good portion size and food presented well. Very nice treat with my Husband. Enjoyed the ‘goodwill’ glass of bubbly arranged by our Son. 👌👍

Food was lovely but unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible. Food was very slow to come out with no apology given or explanation for such a delay. After watching for a while it was apparent that there was only one man bringing food to the tables from the kitchen which wouldn’t have helped matters. Our waiter also didn’t on a single occasion ask if we’d like another drink. A shame as I usually rate Cote. Needless to say we told the waiter that we would not be paying the 12.5% optional tip.

We had excellent food and service in nice surroundings, neither too light or too dark and not too noisy even though it was busy.

The staff at Cote Watford made this a particularly good experience. All of them were friendly helpful and seemed genuinely happy in their work. It was my Mother in Laws Birthday and they brought over an ice cream with a candle and sang happy Birthday. The restaurant was noisy at first, could do with something to absorb the sound. The starter and drinks took a long time to arrive, but again the staff were very apologetic so this made it more acceptable. Food was good, but staff are the real stars here!

Really nice place and good service. Table for 6 was a little cramped with 6 adults and no where to put you coats, lots of glasses on the table for wine and water which restricted the table space. Everyone thought the food was very nice, but menu is a little restricted, with steak & fish being the main options. Lighter salad options are available, Highly recommend the French Onion Soup, it has a circle of french bread topped with cheese floating on top, which was lovely. 4 of the 6 had a dessert and price was about £40 per head. This included 3 alcoholic drinks and 5 soft drinks.

Dining at Côte never disappoints - great food, skillfully seasoned and cooked.

Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The table was decorated included a card and complimentary bucks fizz. That really made it very special thank you for that really kind gesture. Food and service was brilliant. Highly recommend

The Service was very slow on Tuesday evening. We gave our order around 6:60pm. Even that early time they told us they don’t have onion soup and steak from set menu. It was disappointing

First time at Cote in Watford. Very nice meal in my favourite restaurant chain. Will definitely be coming to Cote Watford "encore"

Good place for a girls' night out. It take a while to attract the waiting staffs' attention, for example if we wanted condiments, etc. Also they had run out of soya milk by 7.30pm which was a bit disappointing for the lactose intolerant member of our party. A nice evening was had by all though!
