Excellent food, excellent service. The steak tartar was just amazing as was the calamari and duck.

Food was amazing and great value £120 a couple for 2/3 courses, wine, water and service So very reasonable for a classy establishment My feedback isn’t really relevant to the restaurant as it is a French restaurant serving French wine and I don’t really like French wine - that I accept - but I wasn’t able to try some of the wines I had to gamble with a mid range bottle at £20 There should be a taster option for every wine, whether it’s sold by the bottle or glass

Booked a table for 8 to celebrate siblings birthday and sister’s new job. Upon arrival, the restaurant had written us a birthday card and laid confetti on the table, super cute! Service was excellent! Efficient and attentive. They also gave us 2 complimentary desserts with happy birthday and congrats message on the plate. The staff sang happy birthday and congratulated my sister which was Personal and very thoughtful. Overall, brilliant experience and we will definitely be visiting again! Thank you to our waitress! Xx

Manager/supervisor was friendly and efficient however service done was waiter was not great saucisson and my son meal arrived before our drink that took over 15 min to be delivered, we ordered bread and olives that was never delivered and had to cancel it . Understand that it is a new opening but speed of service need a bit of improvement, once again the Brazilian manager was brilliant , really friendly and helpful.

We had such an amazing experience at your restaurant. It was my boyfriend's birthday and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. His Birthday was celebrated without an embarrassing public display that happens in most places. The staff gave an amazing service which that alone makes this restaurant my favourite place to go for a meal. The food was lovely too. My new favourite restaurant in Watford.

Fabulous evening food & service were excellent, was very noisy but it didn’t spoil the evening.

We came to Cote Watford for their July special, lobster, which is my boyfriend’s favourite seafood. He ordered the lobster for starters and main! He enjoyed both. I am coeliac and have eaten at Cote in the past with no problem and this time they did not disappoint. It’s so good to see an extensive gluten free menu and I would highly recommend Cote to anyone who must eat a gluten free diet. The service was great and food arrived in a good time. We had a very enjoyable evening :-)

Having visited Watford Cote on four previous occasions and had great food and service I was extremely disappointed with this evening. As it was a special occasion, I booked an early table (6.30)- the restaurant was not busy but there were numerous tables that had bot been cleared and others including ours that had not been prepared. We were given menus and ordered drinks and food very quickly. There were three waiters. When our starters arrived the commis stood holding the tray, the waiter turned to him and said- just serve it, We had to ask for cutlery which came after the food had been served. Our chateaubriand was quite dry,not hot and the bernaise came a few minutes later with another tables order. I was extremely disappointed as we have always had great service and on this occasion they seemed to be lacking in organisation and customer service. Due to this we decided not to have dessert or coffee, Amazingly our bill came almost immediately ( faster than any other part of our meal).

We had a really lovely evening and the complementary bottle of wine was a wonderful bonus. My partner had the onion soup which he said was delicious and for mains he had the duck which he said was the best he had ever had. I had the grilled chicken with provancale sauce but it was a bit dry. We had some bread waiting for our starters and I didn't think it was that fresh. Both deserts were lovely and the staff were terrific. Cotes is a favourite restaurant of mine and its lovely to have a branch in Watford. The only thing which was off putting was a crying baby and the boom noise from the cinema above but thats no fault of the restaurant.

We were told that mains were delayed and offered some bread to tide us over. To be honest, it was so lovely as a setting that we didn’t realise mains were slow but we really appreciated the thought. Staff fun, knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back Minor food queries sorted quickly without fuss - a positive benefit to Watford
