Lovely food, great atmosphere and service from Nickolas ... had the pork belly which was cooked to perfection and the service was just right, attentive but not over powering - well done - will certainly return.

Our second visit since it opened & another lovely experience. This time we were there for Mother’s Day brunch. The menu was varied, provided good value and the food was tasty. It was busy but the staff were calm, friendly & organised. Very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you.

A nice change to have a restaurant rather than ‘burger type’ establishment in the town centre. A thought that perhaps a basket of bread on the table, as is the norm in France, would be good.

Absolutely fabulous. What a special new addition to Watford restaurants. Not only a beautiful building, the service was impeccable and you should be very proud of all your team, especially Pedro! The quality of the food was first class A wonderful evening for a birthday celebration topped off with complimentary Kir Rosales...manifique, tres bien! We shall return...soon. Vibrant atmosphere with great food and service. A step up from all the other restaurants this end of town. Will definitely be back.

The evening was amazing, really good food and the service was also good. One point shocked me about my orders wine. He brings the whole bottle even though I didn't ordered the whole bottle.

I have always liked Cote Brasserie. I have dined many times in your Ealing and London branches. So pleased you have opened a Watford branch 😀 Food was very nice and the restaurant has been decorated beautifully, but service was a very slow between stared and main. In saying that, the staff were extremely warm and friendly. I can’t wait to come back again and try everything on your lovely menu 😀 xxxxx

Never asked if I wanted anything else to drink and didn’t bother with 3rd course as wasn’t prepared to spend another hour in a restaurant with little atmosphere or service. Don’t get me wrong, I hate over the top service but this was so lacking in interest it was ridiculous, couldn’t wait to leave!

Really great service and really fast service, especially as it has not been open long! The food was also really great, will definitely be coming back again soon.

Food was lovely, server was great, the only thing that let it down was not having enough sparking wine glasses, resulting in us waiting through the entire main course for my wife's drink, other than that great evening

Friendly and well trained staff. Had the breakfast. Good value and very tasty. Came with toast, tea and juice. Yum yum nice place. Nicely decorated. Nice surrounding and very clean.

Excellent lunch, staff and ambience . Gluten intolerance catered for with no fuss, and own VIP waiter with a smile. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much. Second visit and would go again and again

Early days for this location but service and food generally good. We did have a delay with initial drinks order and although there were a number of “managers” overseeing other staff there did not appear to be assistance given to the lone barman....

Food was lovely and our waiter was great however we both felt a bit rushed and it was very noisy. I would still definitely come back again, just was hoping for a bit more of an atmosphere if I am honest. Welcome addition to Watford though!

Mother’s Day brunch. Service great and restaurant lively with good atmosphere. Service good, although some staff clearly still in the learning process and understandably short on confidence. Breakfast food was good, but nothing more. Think the main Cote menu offerings are better than breakfast.

Surprisingly good! Better than St Albans - food nicely cooked and excellent service! Perhaps the ambience is a bit bland and lacking in coziness, plus on a Saturday evening, there are no discounts/offers available, so £70 for 2 people having 2 courses & wine isn't cheap, but the quality was certainly there...

there were a few teething problems but generally a good experience. we will definitely return and wish the restaurant good luck. It's nice to have a good quality place to dine in Watford.

Had a great date night with the wifey at Cote. Felt so suave and sophisticated. We both think it's the most classy place to eat in town.

Excellent service swift and friendly. Brunch was lovely with perfect dishes of eggs, salmon, crepes and a full English would definitely return. Good value for brunch offer .

A good meal in a friendly atmosphere with helpful and professional staff. I recommend the steak Tartare and the prawn gratin.

Such a wonderful experience. The mood and precedent set as you approach and take in the provincial design of the restaurant facade. Walking in, we were immediately greeted with a smile and welcome words followed by being promptly guided to our reserved table. Opting for a light started, the subtle flavour of the French cheese prepared our palate for the mains to come. We went basic for our mains, opting for the fillet steaks to make the ultimate test of quality of product and kitchen. It’s was phenomenal! The manager Vinnie was very attentive and staff were generally friendly and genuine. The Cote ha sabsolutely raised the bar in Watford and will be our frequent dining choice in the future. @iamavichayil

Service was very slow.... and the restaurant was half empty! It took 30 mins to get a coffee and then 47 minutes for a cocktail. Not acceptable!

Party of 4 were booked, plus an 1 more at last notice. Very accommodating visit. Amazing breakfasts, excellent service and very as always a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. When we left, every staff member said goodbye. Very nice. Will always come for breakfast in future, as opposed to other local choices. Lovely food......can't wait to try dinner !!!!

Lovely friendly welcome as you enter the restuarant. Glad I had booked as the restuarant got very busy and we did see people unable to get a table. All the staff were friendly and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was served piping hot and was of a high quality and was really good value. The whole evening was very enjoyable. I only have one small criticism I don't like the service charge being automatically added to my bill. I like to show my appreciation of the service which in this case wass excellent.

Delicious food served in one of the nice private booths over a catch up with a good friend. We think it may have been our waiter's first night though he was very pleasant and always asked for help if he didn't know the answer.

Service and food was incredible. Presentation of the steak however was highly unimpressive. It came as a slab of meat on the plate, no salad, no veg, nothing! It did taste great, just really lacking any effort to make it look well. Chips on the side so it was an empty plate.

Lovely restaurant in a superb location. The ambience inside was superb. Staff were very attentive as usual. Glad to have a branch nearby! We will be back very soon!
