Côte Watford

Our first visit to this new Cote and we weren’t disappointed. The usual service and great standard of food. There was a small hiccup with our main dish but we were given a complimentary glass of wine which more than made up for the slight delay.

Excellent lunch, staff and ambience . Gluten intolerance catered for with no fuss, and own VIP waiter with a smile. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much. Second visit and would go again and again

Early days for this location but service and food generally good. We did have a delay with initial drinks order and although there were a number of “managers” overseeing other staff there did not appear to be assistance given to the lone barman....

Great food. Fantastic service, reasonable prices, will be back for a French food fix bientot!

Had a lovely evening with friends. We had a warm welcome when we arrived. When seated we had drinks and menus straight away. All the staff that served us were friendly and efficient. There was a great atmosphere and food was delicious. This was our 3rd visit and will definitely return.

Food was lovely but we were positioned next to serving station and this contributed to an really uncomfortable experience unfortunately plus it was far to noisy at times unfortunately

Went to Watford Cote for birthday meal and had the prestige evening set menu of 3 courses. Food was very tasty and well presented, also plenty on the plate. Starters were paye and calamari. Both were extremely tasty. Mains were the salmon, breton chicken and sides of carrots and creamed spinach. All were very well presented and very lovingly cooked. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Even the sides of carrots were tasty and lashings of butter. Would recomend for s special treat, or just a casual evening. Finally the desserts, creme caramel and apple crumble. Once again, delicious. The waiter placed a candle n my creme caramel and preceeded to sing happy birthday, what a lovely touch. With so much choice around the intuition centre and high street, Cote ticked all the right boxes and would return soon for a great meal. 5 stars.......

Exceptional service, fantastic food. Our 5 year old was welcomed and engaged with by staff. The whole experience was perfect for our celebration. A new favourite!

Very Busy Father’s Day lunchtime. Staff polite but unfortunately Kitchen not capable of keeping up with the orders. 3 of 5 meals obviously held under the serving heaters far too long.

The staff were great as was the food, we have our 2 children with us who are 6 and 3 and were given a lovely both out the way so we could relax. Service was attentertive but not invasive. Everybody said thank you when we left waitstaff/manager/even a chef and a runner. Thank you

Lovely ambience, excellent service, delicious and well presented food. Good choice of options in menu and value for money in my opinion. We came here to dine twice in a week, we were so impressed the first time.

Excellent. I have eaten at other branches of Cote in London and Richmond and have always found them very good but this was the first time I'd visited the new Watford branch. I wasn't disappointed - food was excellent and the restaurant itself is a good size - airy and bustling but not overpowering. I shall be back!

Service and food was incredible. Presentation of the steak however was highly unimpressive. It came as a slab of meat on the plate, no salad, no veg, nothing! It did taste great, just really lacking any effort to make it look well. Chips on the side so it was an empty plate.

Had a wonderful time. Staff were very welcoming and the food is very good. There was also a nice family friendly atmosphere that that made the children feel welcomed. Thank you for the experience.

I've been a couple of times to Cote in Watford and am really impressed; the level of service is fantastic and much better than what I have experienced elsewhere in Watford. There was a mistake with my Mum's main course but it was sorted out quickly, and in a very professional manner.

Really good service even though it was busy a very attentive and efficient waiter. It is nicely set out and a great menu. I had the steak which was lovely and my good lady had the sea bream which she really enjoyed. A great experience and we will certainly be going back.

Food service was incredibly slow. It was mothers day and if I had known it was going to be this disappointing I would have stayed home and cooked for my family - it would have been a better experience. Insult was added to injury when presented with the bill there was a £13 service charge on there!

Lovely meal at Cote Watford on Friday 1st March. Few teething problems to be expected when the restaurant is only been open since Monday! Sarah the GM fantastic and really looked after us. Would highly recommend as the food was amazing. Caroline

Came here for lunch , food was delicious. There was a lovely ambience , very reasonable to ! The service was great I would definitely recommend !

The staff are lovely; both attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere inside the brasserie and the noise level is not unbearable. The food good on the whole (although I had the poulet roti and found it to be quite dry).

We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our meal The food was tasty, hot and well presented The set menu is good value This restaurant is most definitely an asset to Watford diners! We will be back for more !

The service was above and beyond excellent and the food was fabulous. The wine was a perfect match and even the coffee was great. I lived in France for 20 years, returning to the UK last year. I have had a hard time adjusting and came here tonight to feel some modicum of French dining and culture. Given that Côte is a chain, I was not entirely convinced that I would be impressed but I was wrong. Well done to you all, from front of house to kitchen via service and bussing. We had a truly enjoyable evening and will be back.

The new Cote Brasserie in Watford offers an excellent range of food and drink at reasonable prices. Service is very good and the location and design are good.

Excellent food and really hight level big customer service. Seabass was delicious and Duck was one of the best I have ever tried. Wine selection is also really good. Definitely recommend.

Another great meal at Cotes Watford, fresh food and a great service from all the staff. A well run operation and a great restaurant, the manager is on the ball and all the staff are great.

Delicious meal, in very pleasant environment. Great menu, with something for everyone, and we all enjoyed our choices for each course, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was lovely and clean as was the cutlery and glasses etc. The waitress who served us was polite and friendly. It's very expensive to eat here but for special occasions then it's definitely worth a visit. My husband and I shared an appetiser and had a starter each which we enjoyed. I had Swordfish which I had to return. It was rubbery and parts of it had a foul smell so I assume it was off. I spoke to the waitress who in turn called the Manager, without a fuss he removed my plate and asked if I'd like to reorder, which I did, it was a chicken dish, it was reasonably priced, I've had similar elsewhere so nothing too different. My husband ordered Beef Bourgion, overall he wasn't too impressed with it, he spent a lot of time picking out the fat, at a price of £16, it was poor value for money. I would give this place a go again, we might have been unlucky but if the food isn't much better the next time then we'll call it a day at Cote Brasserie.

A lovely, friendly welcome and great service throughout made for a great meal. The food in Cote is always good quality and well presented and prepared; it is one of the best mid-range restaurants and a welcome addition to the High street in Watford.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the complementary cocktail. The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

My party of 5 ordered a variety of dishes, all superb. Quality produce, cooked to perfection. Desserts a real reminder of holidays in France. Good value for money as every morsel was devoured! Could do with some vegan choices as so to include all. Lovely, friendly, helpful service We’ll be back

Really impressed by the manager who went above and beyond to make up for a few mishaps during the meal, I think the experience would have been very different if he hadn't been on hand.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food, awonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable too. We will definitely be back again soon
