amazing. These guys know how to cook steak. if you like yours we'll done then don't visit as they won't ruin meat by over cooking it as they say!

Visited here a few times now and I’m always very impressed with the specials menu and the rest of menu also! Steak is always the best there is 💖 thanks for your great service ✌️💋

We had visited this restaurant before and loved it but on this occasion it was a bit of a let down. Service was not the best and staff seemed surly. We had the sharing plate and while we asked for medium steak some was medium some well done and some rare. We mentioned this to the waitress who reluctantly took it away and returned with it cremated. We won't be returning

Absolutely outstanding service, we were welcomed with lots of smiles. The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long. A fantastic birthday outing for my son, who they made feel very special. We didn’t have any great requests but it was easy to see that the team would have gone over and above to help with anything. I would recommend The Cowshed to anyone who wants a really comfortable, no frills, truly authentic meal. We can’t rate it high enough. We’ll be back.

Excellent starter and dessert. Main meal of ribeye and fries was to die for. Perfectly cooked and knife just glided through steak. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great service. Could not fault anything. Can't wait to go back.

Just had the best steak ever, cannot recommend this place enough. We had the "Greedy Cow" which is 3 steaks for 2 people, rump, ribeye and flat iron, comes with 2 sides and 2 sauces, all for £50!! Service outstanding. We'll definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our Greedy Cow plates. Perfectly cooked with excellent sauce options. Great service but a little noisy due to the small rooms and an excitable table. We hope to visit again.

Absolutely one of the best meals we’ve both had - it was so good, we basically ate in silence and didn’t want it to end!! Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was spot on. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful setting restaurant is tucked away on a busy street, cosy atmosphere the staff were always at had. The food was absolutely delicious the succulent cuts of steak, this is by far the best Steak House in Merseyside.

Food was tasty and staff were fantastic. Menu was a bit limited but we all enjoyed it. Restaurant is covid safe and well spaced out with glass partitions
