Cowshed - Liverpool

The food was delicious. The service and attention to detail was FIRST CLASS. We will certainly book again the next time we are in Liverpool.

Top quality food with a good atmosphere, the seating arrangements were well thought out too, too often if you go out as a 2 you are pretty much sat with the people next to you but that wasn't the case, only thing letting it down for a 5 was the quality of the drinks

Second visit here and can't really fault the place. The staff are so passionate and couldn't be more accommodating. Beautiful food and two happy customers

Really nice decir Nd ambience inside . Steak had a nice flavour but it wasn't melt in the mouth unfortunately, it was on the chewy side.

Nice food and nice staff, we were served food fairly quickly between each course which would have been better left with a slight break in between starter and main

Really helpful and friendly staff, we never felt rushed. Steak was unreal. I would recommend Cowshed to anybody! Staff gave excellent recommendations of what to have with the "greedy cow".

From start to finish was excellent! Steak was lovely and enough, go for the £40 share steaks as this was perfect for me and the wife! Absolutely lovely!

Service outstanding. The food was amazing. Will definetly recommend and go back. The waitress understood that me and my girlfriend were not comfortable on the table that was initially given to us and moved us within 2 minutes.

A very pleasant experience as soon as we walked through the door. We were greeted by the very friendly server who showed us to our table. The restaurant is situated in an old type house not far from The Ropewalks area of the city. It is a very quirky restaurant which adds to the experience. The food was delicious, especially the steaks which just melted in the mouth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for quality of food, service and price. I will be visiting Cowshed again for sure.

Cowshed was excellent! The rib eye steak was delicious and really great quality, as well as the sides mushrooms with truffle! We enjoyed the bottle of red from portugal too and overall the atmosphere, the staff etc was fabulous! Highly recommend!

Food was beautiful, service was 5*+ 100% recommend! I had the rump with garlic and herb sauce with sweet potato mash and creamed spinach which was delicious!

Everything at Cowshed was perfect! Me and my bf came in for date night and from start to finish the experience was great! Staff were very friendly and attentive and the steak was excellent! We were recommended the mushroom sauce by our waiter and didn't regret getting it - it was to die for! We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic steak and service. One of the best meals I have had when eating out. The menu is basic and perfect. They only sell three cuts of steak and know how to cook each one to perfection.

The restaurant is really small and cosy inside, I really enjoyed my steak but my partner's was a bit overdone. Good service and very friendly waitress.

The staff were superb, atmosphere was quiet (just what we wanted). On viewing the menu I thought the starter selections were limited. 3 people decided to go with the special of fillet steak. I decided to have the ribeye and flat iron steaks together. The steak were cooked superbly. The fillet steak was £25, my ribeye and flat iron was £24 combined. I would have preferred a bigger ribeye for £25 and not had to have the flat iron steak. All in all the food was excellent and we will return.

Considering this is a steakhouse with a very small menu, food was ok but nothing special. Had better steak elsewhere! Dessert was not as described and not a lot to it. Nice decor and service was good. Expensive for what you got.

Great setting, lovely staff and service. We ordered a fillet and a ribeye both cooked medium. Fill et came more medium well. Sides were delicious. We will be back.

This delightful restaurant serves a limited selection of good quality fresh steaks cooked excellently. Deserts were amazing. Very nice dining atmosphere and friendly staff. Good value for money.

Amazing staff, amazing steaks and amazing cocktails. Will definitely be returning. We would recommend the 'Greedy Cow' sharer but are hoping that the fillet steak special is on the menu again next time!

The steak were good cuts and cooked very well, if not slightly under seasoned. The sides which we got chips and carrots were okay, nothing spectacular. Overall, it's a good steak place but we weren't blown away.

Fabulous....go! Small and perfectly formed menu. Staff gorgeous! If steak is your thing it really is the best place to go. Well priced for what you get too.

This restaurant has an interesting setup - it is kind of like a house with the bar on the ground floor and upstairs rooms for dining. I had the filet special cooked medium-rare which I really enjoyed. My girlfriend has ribeye with pepper sauce which was also nice. We had apple tart and cheesecake for dessert which were both very good as well.

Cowshed was lovely, Food was excellent and the service was perfect. The rooms are really quirky and the flat iron steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again.
