Amazing roast and you have to order the dirty Mac n cheese with it…so good!

Friendly welcome and good service, although restaurant busy. Comments on the food from our party of four were mixed - "generous portions", "really enjoyable" and "good" to "roast potatoes not hot" and "lamb roast too much gristle" - overall though very acceptable and we will return!

Great service, great menu, music was a bit loud but they turned it down when we asked. Ateak was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The mac and cheese was out of this world. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked. Worth every penny.

Cru is simply the best restaurant in Eastbourne! Serving delicious & creative food by efficient & friendly staff with a fabulous wine list to match. The filet steak doesn't hardly need a knife to cut it - it's so tender & perfectly cooked. I wished we could go every week!

Tapas lunch special was good value for money but more importantly the food, presentation and service were all very good. I will certainly be back again soon!

The best steak we have ever had. Shared the chateaubriand and it was incredible. The lobster mac and cheese and the truffle onion rings were also pretty exceptional sides. Thank you.

Good food, done well, small dining space was very noisy. Staff excellent, clearly well trained and attentive without being overbearing. Nearly all starters on the menu had spicy overtones (not great for my partner who doesn't like spicy food.... maybe add/change a few of the dishes so that they're not so spicy oriented?)

Great staff, great food. Amazing roast lamb and delicious vegetables. My only slight criticism is I prefer smaller, crispier toast potatoes but that’s just personal preference.
