Amazing food and very friendly and competent service. Great evening.

We had a warm welcome and were shown to our table,and all night the waitress we had was helpful and answered all our queries about the menu,the atmosphere was relaxed and music was not to loud which is a bonus,that we sat and talked without shouting to each other like some places we have been to, the food was very nice and not dry like some places,all in all very nice evening from start to finish

Our first visit to Cru. Definitely won't be the last. Great venue, superb atmosphere. Staff were friendly attentive and knowledgeable. Food and drinks brilliant. Not the cheapest but a good example of getting what you paid for. Worth the money. My only regret is not knowing of Cru before. Thoroughly recommended

Great. Food superb, music not too loud and a great choice. Service friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it.

Hidden gem behind tired looking front terrace entrance. We were greeted with excellent drinks service from smiling and knowledgable staff & followed by delicious tender steak dinner and wine from a very accomplished wine list. Cru is probably one of the most expensive casual dining restaurants in Eastbourne but it's worth it. Just a shame that terrace let's it down.

Amazing guinea fowl!!! Recommended! Scallops and gyoza also very tasty 😋

We ordered several of the small plates between 2 of us as we wanted to try a number of different things. All of the food was absolutely delicious and tasted fantastic. Great ambience in the restaurant and huge selection of wines to choose from. Best place to eat in Eastbourne, hands down!

Good night at the restaurant and the staff are fab and very attentive. A little pricey perhaps for Eastbourne but a great venue all the same.

Really enjoyed our recent visit to Cru for Sunday lunch. The wine was, of course, fabulous and the food really top notch. What stood out though was the service, really great. Will return again without doubt.

First visit to Cru but not my last. A busy atmosphere of mainly couples and small groups (you need to book to avoid disappointment). The location is not large but this creates a very comfortable and atmospheric experience. The menu is small but something for everyone and as I understand it is regularly changed. Very good selection of wines and some quality craft beers and lagers. Food presentation, taste and quality was superb. As well as good food the staff were very attentive, polite, friendly and conversational. All in all a great experience
