Boasting a sleek environment with exposed brick walls, rustic furniture and dim mood lighting as well as a menu full of authentic Spanish favourites, Cubatas Tapas Bar and Restaurant attracts diners seven days a week. Pop in for some paella – we love the classic seafood paella – or spend the evening feasting on tapas. Some of our favourites include the chistorra wrapped in pastry, pil-pil chilli prawns, chickpea, spinach & cod stew, and the selection of Spanish cold meats. For a quick retreat away to sunny Spain, head on on over to Glasgow’s Cubatas Tapas Bar and Restaurant. Be sure to book in advance though, as you’re probably not the only ones with the same idea!
We needed somewhere to grab food while our son was at a concert so picked here. Lovely food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Definitely one to visit again.
From start to finish Malbec and Rose delicious only 1 tapas disappointing but other 7 were full of flavour good value great ambiance Tom and Joan
Food and staff were excellent. Also great atmosphere. Minor quibble we were struggling to see the menu as the lights were dimmed too much. However when we mentioned this the lights were soon turned up.
Great food, great service. I come here every so often, every time the food is always amazing and lovely staff as well. 10 out of 10!
Great food, really delicious. I wasn't so keen on the monkfish with mussels, but I think that was down to personal taste. Really excellent cooking. I was a little less impressed with the service; the server didn't know what sherries were available, so I went without (I prefer a dry sherry such as Tio Pepe or a manzanilla) - and the service seemed rather haphazard - we were asked for our order by two separate servers who didn't seem to have spoken to each other etc.
It was good. The food and the service was great with attentive staff and delicious tapas. It was a bit on the dark side because of the lighting so that's the only thing is mention that could be tweaked.
Lovely atmosphere, fab food and good service. The food was very quickly served. We will definitely be going back. A couple of drinks in the Bon Accord first, which had a great selection of Ales and gins.
Food was okay, nothing special. Pork cheek dish was the highlight - that was in fact very good. Service was quite slow on a quiet Thursday night. Wouldn't rush back. Felt that the restaurant was a little run down looking, and could do with a good clean and freshened up. Nothing major was wrong - it just didn't stand out.
The atmosphere was good and the food very delicious although the paella was a bit dry and let down the overall score. I would defiantly go there again though
