Great cocktails, uninspiring food choices. We noticed it was very cold in the bar area (although we were ok in the restaurant) with people sitting in their coats. The big windows look nice but they need better heating for those sat near them!

Menu is not clear at all and Staff didn't specify/ask which sandwiches would be included in the afternoon tea, so when a ham & cheese sandwich arrived with the others I wasn't pleased since I am a vegetarian!

Had afternoon tea and it was not presented very nice, hardly any sandwiches, the ones we had were bland - felt like no effort had been made, random plates being brought out rather than usuing more that one cake stand (there was 3 of us having it). The service was slow and would not recommend it to anyone else. Very disappointed, not worth the price.

Just went for cake and coffee. The surroundings were amazing but the cake wasn't the best. Have had diner here previously was very nice but expensive.

Wonderfully quirky interior - you just keep seeing more interesting items everywhere you look! Fascinating and lots of fun! Great selection of Gin & Tonic; good wine list and excellent burger. Could have been slightly more pink for my taste but the flavour was exceptional. Loved the brioche bun also - burgers are often let down by the bun I feel so this was a big plus for me. My friend had the Moules-Frites which were perfectly cooked. Service was good and overall experience great - let down by the bench seat I was seated on being a little long so everyone that walked past bumped into it.

Good selection of vegetarian tapas and good value deal on a Wednesday, three small plates for £13. Quirky decor and something a bit different to other more traditional bars in Nottingham.

Although the food and general atmosphere was great, my sister and I found our table to 2 to be rather cramped with a large candle, vase of flowers, menus etc taking up a lot of the limited space. We ordered just olives for a starter but were served bread as well. When we told the waitress that we hadn't ordered it, she did apologise and promised it would be removed from the bill - which it wasn't. The most disappointing part of our visit was the lack of good old-fashioned plates. Although our food looked very pretty served on a narrow wooden slab, the novelty of rummage in a mini bucket for our fries, extracting coleslaw from a tiny jar, and trying to negotiate a very tall burger with no room to actually cut up our food or use cutlery soon wore off. These serving methods clearly make things difficult for the waiting staff too. When attempting to clear our table, the waitress dropped a steak knife on my sister as it fell off the tiny wooden slab and also knocked food onto her suede shoes (which now appear to be stained), and sent a jar of coleslaw onto my dress and bag. Quite embarrassing for everyone involved.

Staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Sat down and served quickly and didn't have to wait long considering it was a busy saturday. I'd highly recommend to friends and I'll definitely be returning.

Quirky and cool bar. We went for dinner and drinks, £5 for a bellini in happy hour! Pizza was delicious. Definitely worth a try, don't be out off by exterior..

I have to say i was disapointed with our experience. We arrived at 5pm for our booking with only two other people in the restauraunt. It was boiling hot, we asked to move to a cooler table and were put by the kitchen (safe to say that wasnt cooler). We moved to the bar area and were told we would now need to go to the bar to order. I understand that that may be the case in normal circumstances but given that we had to move because of the environment and as the staff had no one to serve it felt like they should have offered to give the service we would have got in the restaurant. There was 8 of us so our bill was fairly big and it didnt feel like we were valued customers. It was 7 out of the 8 of us first time visiting and it just didnt give of the best impression. I should say that the food was lovely. We were just disapointed that the staff couldnt be bothered to go over and abovel, despite having no other customers!

Food was nice but service terrible. We had finished starters before the drinks arrived. Halfway through mains before wine arrived, then had to wait for glasses and open the bottle ourselves.

Quirky setting, lovely afternoon tea, would go again. Only two things I would improve are, tea/coffee usually unlimited with an afternoon tea. It was a warm day and it felt like sitting in a greenhouse, even with the fans on, need better air con. Otherwise deffo worth a visit for the fabulous cakes.

Service was a little slow and they served food to one of our party long before the rest meaning they had finished before we got ours. We were waiting to pay for so long we ended up going to the bar instead. It was VERY hot to the point of being uncomfortable. The toilets are up stairs and with two elderly people in our party it wasn't ideal. Staff were nice and friendly, food was good and reasonably priced.
