Food excellent wine excellent good choice of drinks very quiet though on a Thursday night. Waitress excellent with unusual decor, overall very nice evening. Cool.
Food was awful very dry pizza and overcooked steak, table was so dark we had to use torches from our phones to read the menu
THE MUSIC WAS TOO LOUD SO WE COULD'NT REALLY HAVE A CONVERSATION.VERY NICE STAFF BUT THE FOOD WAS NOT GREAT AND NOT A LOT OF CHOICE.
It was a lovely environment, we received excellent service and the food was delicious! Really good value for money! Will definitely be going back again.
Food was very good but limited choice if you don't like seafood, pizza and burgers. Service was good but not the best I've had but this wouldn't stop me going back again.
The food was outstanding. The service was very attentive and although the restaurant got extremely busy, we couldn't fault a thing!! Would def re-visit in the future.
Food was great. Just lacked a little with sides for the main dishes. Atmosphere was lovely, staff nice, although waiting time was a little long. Wether this was due to it being busy or we were a table of six. Service due to being a little busy seemed rather rushed it took away a little from quality. When we decided not to tip the additional charge which was added on to the bill as it was simply too high and didn't warrent the service provided, our waitress was very rude and stormed off after we paid. A little unnecessary. May return for the food.
It was very, very, very, noisy music so loud a conversation was impossible, and dreadful, and the seats were uncomfortable. But the staff were lovely, and the food was nice
Good really nice and staff are fantastic really helpful. Good place for a pre theatre meal Burger was messy and good. Fantastic decor inside entrance interesting
Excellent food good choice on menu, great cocktail menu, Really unusual decor but very classy. Staff where very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome
Lovely place and they provided us with the table we requested (under the tree) however we had to be moved after 10mins as they forgot to tell us we weren't allowed to eat there. We had to be moved to the restaurant part. The food was lovely, but they brought everything out at once so by time I reached my main, it was a little too cold! Also, every time a plate/glass was empty on our table, a waitress would come over and ask if it was done with. We understand they want to clear up fast as they go, but we just kept being interrupted every 10mins and it started to feel a little awkward.
Service was not great - we were told after hour an hour of being seated that our booking gave us an hour and a half and after that the table was needed. After our main course no one asked us if we wanted dessert or more drinks - we were ignore
fabulous place . so much to look at . definitely go again. lovely staff aswell. the food was great i had a chainsaw burger and sweet potato fries followed by a cherry desert.yum
We did have to ask to move as we were hidden at the back where we couldn't see anything. Once we moved it was fine.
Was immediately made welcome by staff. Cream tea delicious & sandwich beautifully presented in a picnic basket. Quirky decor. Nice for people watching too. Very enjoyable.
Menu is not clear at all and Staff didn't specify/ask which sandwiches would be included in the afternoon tea, so when a ham & cheese sandwich arrived with the others I wasn't pleased since I am a vegetarian!
Great cocktails, uninspiring food choices. We noticed it was very cold in the bar area (although we were ok in the restaurant) with people sitting in their coats. The big windows look nice but they need better heating for those sat near them!
More a place for young people but food and service were good. Very exotic decor and good cocktail menu. An excellent location in city centre.
The venue itself is very nice the way it has been done up, but the food is average, and the service was unfriendly. We would probably not go back
Really lovely place with a fantastic interior and nice areas to sit in. They serve some great food and drink here as well so will be back.
Food was great and decor was kooky. A nice surprise!
Great service, fantastic atmosphere & decoration. Afternoon tea was lovely and very good size. Cocktail included were nice. Great price for Tipsy afternoon tea. Would recommend to all.
Had afternoon tea and it was not presented very nice, hardly any sandwiches, the ones we had were bland - felt like no effort had been made, random plates being brought out rather than usuing more that one cake stand (there was 3 of us having it). The service was slow and would not recommend it to anyone else. Very disappointed, not worth the price.
Just went for cake and coffee. The surroundings were amazing but the cake wasn't the best. Have had diner here previously was very nice but expensive.
Brilliant food and cocktails, good atmosphere and quirky decor :) I would definitely visit again to sample more of the menu. Great for special occasions!
Wonderfully quirky interior - you just keep seeing more interesting items everywhere you look! Fascinating and lots of fun! Great selection of Gin & Tonic; good wine list and excellent burger. Could have been slightly more pink for my taste but the flavour was exceptional. Loved the brioche bun also - burgers are often let down by the bun I feel so this was a big plus for me. My friend had the Moules-Frites which were perfectly cooked. Service was good and overall experience great - let down by the bench seat I was seated on being a little long so everyone that walked past bumped into it.
Good selection of vegetarian tapas and good value deal on a Wednesday, three small plates for £13. Quirky decor and something a bit different to other more traditional bars in Nottingham.
Staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Sat down and served quickly and didn't have to wait long considering it was a busy saturday. I'd highly recommend to friends and I'll definitely be returning.
Although the food and general atmosphere was great, my sister and I found our table to 2 to be rather cramped with a large candle, vase of flowers, menus etc taking up a lot of the limited space. We ordered just olives for a starter but were served bread as well. When we told the waitress that we hadn't ordered it, she did apologise and promised it would be removed from the bill - which it wasn't. The most disappointing part of our visit was the lack of good old-fashioned plates. Although our food looked very pretty served on a narrow wooden slab, the novelty of rummage in a mini bucket for our fries, extracting coleslaw from a tiny jar, and trying to negotiate a very tall burger with no room to actually cut up our food or use cutlery soon wore off. These serving methods clearly make things difficult for the waiting staff too. When attempting to clear our table, the waitress dropped a steak knife on my sister as it fell off the tiny wooden slab and also knocked food onto her suede shoes (which now appear to be stained), and sent a jar of coleslaw onto my dress and bag. Quite embarrassing for everyone involved.
The food was fantastic, and was not overly priced either, the service we received was quick and courteous. I will definitely be going again in the near future.
Quirky and cool bar. We went for dinner and drinks, £5 for a bellini in happy hour! Pizza was delicious. Definitely worth a try, don't be out off by exterior..
I have to say i was disapointed with our experience. We arrived at 5pm for our booking with only two other people in the restauraunt. It was boiling hot, we asked to move to a cooler table and were put by the kitchen (safe to say that wasnt cooler). We moved to the bar area and were told we would now need to go to the bar to order. I understand that that may be the case in normal circumstances but given that we had to move because of the environment and as the staff had no one to serve it felt like they should have offered to give the service we would have got in the restaurant. There was 8 of us so our bill was fairly big and it didnt feel like we were valued customers. It was 7 out of the 8 of us first time visiting and it just didnt give of the best impression. I should say that the food was lovely. We were just disapointed that the staff couldnt be bothered to go over and abovel, despite having no other customers!
Very friendly greeting & efficient service. Were given choice of tables which was nice. Interesting decor & relaxing atmosphere. Food was good quality & good value for money
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing place definitely going yo come back and thank you to James out waiter for the night! You was lovely x
Fantastic good, good service, lovely atmposohere and the toilets are definitely worth a visit! The prosecco was lovely too, nothin was too much trouble for the staff.
Great atmosphere and great food. Currently my fave place to go for a breakfast afternoon tea with Mum or dinner and cocktails with friends. Must book in advance!
we enjoyed our experience of eating here and also had some very nice cocktails! we will be back again and next time I am looking forward to sampling the afternoon tea which looked lovely.
Food was nice but service terrible. We had finished starters before the drinks arrived. Halfway through mains before wine arrived, then had to wait for glasses and open the bottle ourselves.
Had a wonderful time - attentive staff and delicious food and drinks! Good price too, for the quality of the food and drink, and the great atmosphere.
Quick service, friendly staff, really lovely environment, food was delicious! All round really good evening. The photo booth is a must! Spot on from start to finish.
