2 hours to have a main course for 4 people. Sat with empty plates for 45minutes, asked for dessert menu twice before having to ask 3 times for the bill as we couldn’t wait any longer as my father in law had to go to work. Couldn’t even enjoy a quiet dinner as one of the male servers was dealing with a bigger table and shouting out everything.

This is the second time I have been and this time was as enjoyable as the first. Food well cooked and presented, staff extremely friendly and the atmosphere was really lovely.

The service was a bit slow and there were a few issues ie sides did not come at same time as mains and there were another few issues. But when I spoke with manager I was very happy with how he handled issues and discounted bill etc. Food was lovely and I liked atmosphere so I will definitely return.

It started badly by my being made to wait 10mins at reception as staff were too busy to show me to the table where my party was waiting. It took 40 mins for them to take our order. Then a further 40 mins for our food to arrive. Forgotten about. A very nice server came to offer us drinks (we presumed to make things right) but no, we were charged for those too. Presentation was good but food was very average.

First time here, it was lovely. Very clean. Staff super polite and friendly. Menu is super clear and concise. The chefs are amazing as out food was made to perfect specifications. Perfect serving size, couldn't fit a dessert in if we tried! Will definitely be back. Xx

It was my 40th and we were out celebrating and Cut did not disappoint. The waffle starter was amazing, worked really well with the macaroni, bacon, Jalapeños and Chicken. Steak was amazing, couldn’t fault it one bit. The wife said she was equally impressed! We will definitely be back. Billy.

Have been previously and really enjoyed the choice in lunch menu, however, on this visit the menu had changed. The selection limited to more basic dishes compared to previous menu. I had fish and chips which was enjoyable but a bit disappointed on the more restricted menu.

Been a few time's now, the only thing I don't like is the lights, they dim and light up again, the guy on the door is nice. I feel it is hard to get someone to take your order.

Starter was average, prawns over cooked however fillet steak cooked to perfection and beef gravy to die for. Pudding and wine very good also 😀

Food was nice but considering restaurant was not busy service left a lot to be desired. First time at Cut Bothwell as was recommended to me by a friend for the nice food and good service. May try again in the future

Order 2 T bones both were chewy and hard to cut especially the closer to the bone you got. The service was good and the sides were good but overall don’t think I would return as can get better value elsewhere

Everything about Cut is perfect, the staff are attentive and the food is amazing, with prices in line with other similar restaurants. I would highly recommend Cut Steak.

Everything about our visit was great, especially the food best steak i've had in a while!

Seated late which was ok as we were given a nice table in bar, once in restaurant it was very cold, and had to wait nearly an hour for dinner, food was amazing for us all, asked 2 servers if they could do something for my husband as it was his birthday, they literally stuck 1 candle in sticky toffee pudding that wasn’t even my husband’s pudding… ladies toilets were so cold 🥶 I had to put coat on once been. Nice atmosphere but service was so below what I was expecting felt the staff at reception were so unprofessional an expensive night out I was left very disappointed.

Excellent service staff very nice and friendly and very welcoming

Food was very disappointing after hearing lots of good things. £82 for a Tomahawk Steak that I could have made better myself is not acceptble. The side salad and parfait were, frankly, abysmal. I would get better in Tesco. Home fries were great but get better chips in a chippy/ chip shop. Table next to us was a company of swearers and, incredibly, a repeating burper. Waitress was very nice/ service was good. If The Cut is going to position itelf as an upscale Steak House the food, ambience, service has got to match. 2/10
