Overall we enjoyed our first visit to cut bothwell although I would have preferred a quieter area sitting couples so close together and with a large party in same room is not enjoyable trying to have a conversation is a bit awkward it would have been nice to have been Offered special of the day menu and condiments both of which I mentioned to server who did apologise

Friendly staff who helped with the door as I had a pram. Food was delicious and each server were so friendly qnd attentive.

Solid food, decent service. No cask ale. The atmosphere was quiet it needed a little something. Overall though, I’ll be back. We are locals and so will continue to support it

Overall lunch was good. Service was great as always. However, my Sunday roast wasn't up to it's normal standard. My vegetables were so cold and they forgot the onion rings we ordered. We did tell them but by time they had decided to bring more we had finished. They did deduct our drinks from the bill to apologise. It certainly hasn't put us off but, do wish they would check temperatures before bringing to the table as we overheard someone else saying their vegetables were cold too so its clearly an issue in the kitchen. My partners lunch was outstanding so, next time I'm staying clear of the roast.

Took nearly an hour to get our bottle of wine. Bit slow in general but think the server was new. Normally service is great. Steak was lovely. Roast chicken wasn’t roasted, it was grilled. Bit underwhelming tbh.

Food was delicious, steak cooked perfectly only thing I would say is add a mushroom with steaks as well as tomato. Not as add on extra. Couldn’t fault staff or service.

Fantastic visit for daughter’s birthday. Service was excellent, the server was very knowledgeable, full of recommendations and lovely into the bargain. Food was perfect.

The waffle served with the chicken was very overly sweet. The T-bone I ordered was more blue than medium rare. I had to guests with me as I had been highly recommending cut to them so I didn’t like to complain. It’ll not put me off visiting again it’s easy to have an off day.

first time visiting and must say food was great, only small criticism would be the buffalo chicken dirty fries, the chicken could of been crispy instead of soggy batter and was a little dry. steak was unreal though and will definitely be back

Lovely place, if only a bit dark to read the small writing on the menu. Staff very attentive and with great attitude. Couldn’t do enough especially, apologies, I think her name was Vicky. Overall a great experience and will return. Steaks first class

It was ok, not as good as expected. We had a waiter who came over constantly and kept interrupting our conversation. The waiter also didn’t know the beers on tap available so my partner had to go round to the bar to take a look. And lastly it was super noisy… Food was good although a little over priced

Poor service cold food , bland atmosphere, sodden drinks menu, steak knives useless lack of attentiveness of staff on entry 10 to 15 minutes before given any drinks / food menu to loud background music

Excellent food, great service from Skye and a great atmosphere, the scallop with crayfish risotto starter was absolutely exceptional and the steak was superb.
