This is stylish Italian dining in the heart of Bothwell, with a spacious outdoor terrace and elegant inside dining room providing a lovely setting for any occasion. By day, all-weather glass covering makes Da Luciano’s sleek, velvet-boothed seating area looking onto Silverwells Crescent a sunny spot for a relaxed morning coffee or a bustling restaurant for lunch. By night, Da Luciano transforms into a refined Italian eatery, though its atmosphere is still casual and jovial. Whatever time of day, the various menus offered here just a short drive along the Clyde from central Glasgow will impress your entire party with a unique mix of traditional Italian and distinctly Scottish flavours. The monkfish wrapped in Parma ham with pappardelle in a mussel broth is our particular favourite for the main course, but the choice at Da Luciano stretches from classic minestrone to lemon sorbet sundae with an army of pizzas, pastas, salads and much more in between, and you can’t really go wrong!
we ordered fillet steak at £28.50 which was over cooked and dry, Service was OK but attitude when i complained was very poor, nobody asked during meal if everything was OK. I sent food back paid bill and left
We were in the restaurant for 45mins before getting our bread and olives! We then waited another 30mins for the mains and decided to leave as we didn't have time to wait. Very disappointed as I usually love Da Luciano.
Had a lovely meal as always. Staff friendly and efficient. Always enjoy our visits to this restaurant and will be trying it's sister restaurant Indian Manor next month.
