Sanitiser at the entrance, staff wearing visors and careful with distancing. Food and drink were a delight. Three courses with aperitif, wine and a limoncello was £65pp. Excellent value and a great evening out for both of us.

It's an excellent real Italian restaurant. Excellent ingredients. We started with bread and olive oil, then starters of arancini and an excellent baked aubergine dish. Shared a pasta carbonara made oroperly

My husband and I had been meaning to go to Da Piero for quite some time and we were not disappointed. We are both vegan and usually find restaurant options very limited however on this occasion we were presented with an entire menu. The food was delicious and the hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming. In addition, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she was about the food and drink she was serving. I would recommend to anyone, vegan or not!

Lovely authentic Italian food with great service. The atmosphere is a little drab but I think that's just in comparison to more lively restaurants. Overall we had a nice meal and would recommend it.

Delightful evening and a wonderful find. I wish we had booked years ago! Food was so authentic and delicious and some of the flavours were a revelation. Quality of ingredients shines through. Lovely to meet the charming Piero and his family. Worth every penny and will definitely be back, though sadly not every week, as we live 250 miles away!

Overal it was excellent. It was the first time we'd been and we will certainly be back. The owner's wife was very welcoming and attentive, the food was freshly cooked and delicious, the menu catering to a wide range of tastes, and good value for money considering the quality. In an ideal world, we'd have like slightly more subtle lighting to give a bit more atmosphere.

Great food, great owner, lovely to experience non commercialised authentic Italian food as opposed to the usual pizza and pasta, but would benefit from serving non alcoholic beers.. A little gem.

Small friendly restaurant. Good freshly cooked food and good service. Value for money. Could benefit from a specials menu perhaps and some mood lighting and candles. It was a bit bright for me.

Both food and service excellent. We had 2 courses and a desert to share with a lovely bottle of Montepulcino. Bill was reasonable at £80. Would highly recommend. Wait time is good as all food is fresh so you should expect longer wait times here, not because it’s slow!

We've been before, and this time was just as good as the last time. It's a pleasant experience to eat Italian food in a restaurant that's not part of a 'chain' The fron of house staff were excellent and the cooking superb.
